may i also reserve 46 then please?
It would be funny to have negative numbers, but thats a whole can of beans I dont think anyone wants open unless its only -1 or something (or -15 if you get the idea)

Yeah I’d rather not have negative numbers. If we needed more numbers I would either expand to four digits or do like IMSA and make 21 and 021 different numbers.

And that’s a big if anyways. I highly doubt we’re going to reach 1000+ entries.

I want to reserve the numbers 76 and 85, please.

Just one question, is this challenge only for the stable version or can we submit cars from open beta as well?

Stable version only. There’s changes between versions that make the cars not compatible. Also it’s not possible to make custom tracks for the beta yet.

Sorry, I’d like to remove my reservation for number 246, I’m too lazy to create a whole 'nother engine on stable just to pass my car

somewhere near Pikes Peak, a mad lad storms past

blaring loudly out of the speakers as it flys past

Yes, some mad lad will send a production ute up Pikes Peak

please ignore the lack of effort in the photos. I am just lazy and didn’t feel like trying to figure out how to add smoke and blur the vehicle. Just pretend that there is a lot of tyre smoke and it’s going very fast

DEADLINE EXTENSION

Since I’ve been asked for an extension by several people (and partly because of some IRL stuff too), I’m changing the deadline.

New one is Thursday, July 31st 23:59 CEST

I’d like to request the number “97” for this event. Planning to join the Historical class with a 1955 car, might make something for Time Trial 2 if I have the time

is ta1 allowed to have an engine reposition from the production car? e.g. from front traverse to mid traverse?

If you mean using ATS, no. Only Unlimited and Exhibition are allowed to do that (with certain restrictions).

If you mean turning a front engined road car into a mid engined race car, I would have no way of knowing what the original car is.

The long-dormant performance division of Hossack was reawakened prior to this year’s running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

Their weapon of choice? The facelifted 2003 Kingfisher SuperSport, elder brother to the V6 Gran Sport.
Boasting a 5.7L V8, originally producing around 330hp, the department had their work cut out for them. After a lot of wasted productive resource usage and cash expenditure, their Pikes Special was complete. The motor? Aside from the displacement, completely unrecognisable. Now sporting a Billet Alu block and full forged internals, their monster peaked at ~610hp at the crank. Other modifications included an increased rev limit, an aggressive cam tune, and a new intake, among other things.

The Kingfisher SS Pikes Special was then fitted with wide, semi-slick compound tires, a brand-new race-ready 6-speed sequential gearbox, larger brakes, and specially engineered driver aids.

Oh, and it got a new aero package too. Nothing special.

This RWD, Fire-breathing monster is set to be unleashed as part of the Time Attack 1 class at the next PPIHC. Are you ready? Of course you aren’t.
