After watching Der Bayer and moving away from my dyno queen mistake and studying the torque curves of 1970s era soviet engines used in the Lada, Moskvitch, UAZ and LUAZ. I’m hoping I’ve fixed my major mistakes

Specs
Engine
It has a small NA 1100cc pushrod I3 engine

Drivetrain
The GL trim has a manual 4-speed,
delivering the power to an open differential

and a solid axle leaf rear setup.

The interior is a standard environment with

1978 Eichert 800 Lux
The true Communist people’s car may not come from the Soviet Union, But rather from East Germany. Atleast that’s what Eichert hopes is the case, the car in question is this, The 800 Lux. Coming equipped with a Driver’s Head-restraint, A Western-style Vinyl Roof and with a Drivetrain quite unlike any other car in this market segment.
Power is from a 1500cc Flat-4 mounted in the Rear of the 800, Which makes this RWD And [Nearly] A Sports car [It certainly isn’t]. Regardless, The Lux will get from 0-60 in.. Eventually.
Not like any of this will matter, as the moment it hits Western markets it’ll be labelled obsolete and become a joke until it vanishes from roads.

Only on the first look! The brand new Burgwart Kosmos, the new car from GDR reaching “Weltniveau”, has a twin, the EMW 125S! The EMW is a more rugged and cheaper twin of the Burgwart, meant for heavy duty use and export to our brothers in the soviet union.
Typically German - no matter under which political system - is the rationalized manufacting, in fact, this car is meant to be repaired by a hoof smith in the Taiga and operate in challenging conditions, even more than the already durable Burgwart.
Sharing the body parts and the interior also means you profit from Burgwarts roomy and convenient driving experience, even if the rest of the car differs a lot.
