it was terrible timing on my end as well, i really don’t have the proper free time needed for a challenge on this scale, stuck with personal stuff at the moment.

tbf i would’ve budged on the restrictions if. someone. said. something. :neutral_face: but whatcha gonna do.

I’ll take responsibility for the challenge failing but thanks to my irl circumstances i don’t think i’ll get a good shot at running it back for a while yet. It’s frustrating but, again, whatcha gonna do. :man_shrugging:

the challenge lasted for a month, with an extra week of preptime if you came in when the challenge was posted :skull:

the issue is that i failed to keep interest in the challenge actually going from the people that WERE interested. you’re welcome to toss your hat in the ring and try it yourself when we bring it back.

The engineering is pretty strict looking at it here, but without building a car I can’t say how much. Reaching 310+ with only 100k doesn’t leave much room for anything other than aero and power quality spam.

With the initial ruleset it wasn’t too difficult to build something that met the requirements. But it seems people wound up voting for a bit strcter set instead. It was still possible to meet the requirements, but it was challenging. The hardest to hit was actually the 0-60 ruling. Took a bit of tinkering to reach that. But I was able to come up with 3 different prototypes that met the ruleset.
Unfortunately it was the design aspect that I ran out of time on. :persevere:
