The "This or That" Game

This game is simple, you give the next person a choice of two automotive related things. For example, I4s or V8s? The next person will answer which one they would rather have, give a short reason why, and give a choice to the next person. Let’s try to keep this on topic about cars. I will start.

Mazda 787, or Porsche 917?

787, that scream gives me chills.

NIalloftara, you are supposed to post a choice for the next person. Please do this next time. For now:

1st Gen MX-5, or 2nd Gen MX-5

2nd Gen MX-5 because of the factory turbo option (Mazdaspeed). (I do prefer the styling of the 1st gen, though…)

Mid-90s Ferrari 456GT or Mid-90s Aston Martin V8 Vantage

456GT, because it’s more attractive, and more cylinders = better.

Jensen FF or Audi Quattro?

Audi Quattro, without a doubt. That thing is a beast in the purest form for 4WD cars.

BMW M3 E30 or Mercedes 190E Evolution? (both DTM cars round '92s)

I’d take the Merc, because of its success in the DTM. (And its stripes.)

1.6L Turbo V6s or 2.4L NA V8s?

Turbo V6… I love turbos and the acceleration they give when kicking in.
Also prefer the turbo V6 over the V8 in F1

Supra or Skyline?

Skyline, Supra isn’t funny enough (burning tyres and replacing cylinders head because of too many PSI ^^)

Civic EK4 or Integra Type R ?

Integra, they always seem to win in the “Best Motoring” runoffs

300zx TT or 350z

Eventhough how much I would like to give other s a chance I HAVE to answer this:

350Z because man, those Z-series are so awesome!!!

Citroën Saxo or Peugeot 106?

350Z There is something in that shape. Still not the original 240 for style but I never got the 80’s/90’s styling.

Citroën 2CV or Volkswagen Type 1 (aka the Beetle)

Edit: sorry for the extra post on the 350 v 300 question I had the window open for some time before answering and didn’t see the other post

Beetle because the rear-engine, rear-drive layout is perfect for drag racing (weight distribution).

Of these art deco cars from the 1930s:

Rolls Royce Phantom 1 Jonckheere Aerodynamic Coupe or Duesenberg Walker Aerodynamic Coupe

The roller, she looks gloriously Bad ass, I love Art Deco and she had it in spades

Equally powerful engines but Turbo charged or naturally aspirated?

Citroën Saxo or Peugeot 106?
These cars are pretty same, because the 106 uses a Saxo chassis and the engines are identical.
Maybe your choice should be 106 GTi or Saxo VTS ? Then I would choose Saxo VTS

And for you ? Saxo VTS or 106 GTi ?

Naturally Aspirated for the win. Good sounding and more progressive toque curve. Less items that can broke up (theoretically) and cheaper/easier maintenance and use.

'60 cars design or '90 cars design?

Much rather take the 60’s design. More elegant designs.

C6 Corvette ZR1 or C7 Corvette base model?

C7 - it looks so much better.
'70 Plymouth Barracuda '70 Dodge Challenger?

I know they are basically the same haha, I drive a Saxo :stuck_out_tongue: I would pick the VTS too…

Ill go for the Challenger… just because of the name only. And who doesnt like a Dodge?

4WD or RWD?

RWD, just because they are more fun as a daily driver.

AMG, or M?
