Themed Car Challenge (Season 1 , Round 3) [VOTE]

(I’M BAAACK!)

Sensibility shouldn’t cost you cents. Nor should it come at the cost of worry. That’s why the Ardent Piper is such a smart buy. Ardent reliability and frugality is built right in, from bumper to bumper. Its Cygnus-series 4-cylider motor is designed to last for years, without exorbitant maintenance costs. It’s just as easy at the gas pump, too. Inside you’ll find plenty of space for 5, as well as all the creature comforts you expect from Ardent’s SE models.

Be sensible. Be Ardent. Starting at $11,100.

(1990 Ardent Piper SE shown in Blue Frost. Automatic transmission optional.)

Do you grow wary of the trend towards FWD? fret not, as we here over at LHE agree with you.

Intruducing the 1990 Satalite SX4-Quad, the Satalite has enjoyed some success in Group A rally, and this four door version is ready to serve your every need. CEO confidently grabs the microphone to present his company’s first market entry at the TCC autoshow

"Who doesn’t want to be different?

Who really thinks 9.2 from 0 to 100 is all a modern 6 cylinder can do? Who is really willing to compromise drivability and comfort for sportiveness? And who is still dreaming of cars to last for decades when new regulations and technological progress ask for economical yet state-of-the art cars at an affordable price?

Well, we we got the new deal for you - ever heard about compact crossovers?

Don’t miss your chance to ride the new Scatola GT. The perfect car for the sportive city hunter with all the space a family with 1.5 children could ask for!"

chairman whispers to his neighbour
“I told him over 180 km/h, over 180…”

The Commune by Centauri, only burns 5.88L/100km (40mpg US), has the lowest bracket emissions, class leading reliability of 29,000KM between scheduled services, and prices starting under $10,000. The people have a new car.

A 1.5 liter 4 cilinder engine is powering the rear wheels. Because front wheels are meant for steering.
Maximum torque is already available at 2500rpm and a topspeed over 180km/h.
Lowest service costs in class and only need service every 26000km.
Available now for less then $12900.

I present my ad:

nial… where do you live that you have such a small license plate? ?_:

Oh I’m American, I guess I think I just got the size wrong on the front. now edited with more accurate hollows and plates

anyway. here’s my ad. well my original ad query anyway
it has always been one of the two options. big or cheap.

starting from now we give the third option. BOTH.

KOMODO B-WAGON XS
BIG enough to give you all the loading capabilities you will ever need for your everyday roundabout
CHEAP enough to not need to rob a bank before buying, or after with only $378,8 per year of insurance cost*

served to you on a silver truck for only $12,250 without the bonus regret
but then some bonkers new part-timer scrapped it and built his own version without any permission and let out in the open.
we are still in the progress of processing the said kid.

meanwhile. this was what he made

A bit OT, but can someone point me in the direction of some nice and easy photoediting software? Especially for getting just the car image. Want to make pretty ads like you guys!
Sorry for OT

Paint.NET works best IMO. Use GIMP if you are familiar with it.

Presenting the 1990 Solo Beaver XL HFE! Where XL stands for extra large compact, and HFE for high fuel efficiency! It’s far from being a luxury or performance car, but as far as low price and low running costs without compromising passenger and cargo space, Solo has you covered!

im not sure of my car this time around…
for this challenge at least.

first time i got confident, i got DQed.
second time, barely any vote.

im lowering my expectation this time around… although so far. i still have the highest practicality

My entry, the Rado E-200. (Note that the test entry comes with the V6, AWD, and 16-inch Alloy wheels options)

Almost finished my car… this time things are gonna be harder :open_mouth:

my goal this time around? just get a point. at least one point

one question: when i chose my body it says 3 doors. at the overview in the end it says 2 doors SUV. which one counts for the challenge?

This is not at all what I wanted to enter, but the 2.6m max wheelbase caught me off guard rather late in the game. Relatives, illness, and crazy mishaps aside, should my entry be ok despite its tardiness, I decided I’d try to do something different. I see hatchbacks, wagons, what appears to be sedans, but its difficult to tell if some nice coupes have been included so I did that with the not-alfa gtv (difficult to tell given the image below)

Introducing the FASE Tu y yo or more compactly Tuyyo (meaning “you and I”) a 2+2 alternative for your consumption.
