Introduction

The goal in the Themed Car Challenges is to build an Car that is reasonable for the specific theme it is entered into.
This challenge is not about making as much power as possible or other crazy-ass Cars. The winner will be chosen by the
judges, and that is you! You decide which Car you would choose, if YOU were the CUSTOMER. Be realistic about your choices!

Submission Guidelines

[ul][li]The latest public release version is used for the challenges.[/li]
[li]One submission per user per theme. The PMed Car is your final and only theme entry.[/li]
[li]If a patch is released during a challenge, the entry has to be (re-)submitted in the latest patch version.[/li]
[li]After filling the spreadsheet with your Car’s data, submit your entry via PM to Pyrlix, the TEC game-master. [/li]
[li]You must submit the Car by the last day of building time, otherwise it counts as not submitted and is disqualified.[/li]
[li]Scoring (Season 1): 1st place 5 points, 2nd place 4 points, 3rd place 3, 4th place 2 point[/li]
[li]If your Car stats in the sheet don’t correspond to the ones in the submitted Car file, this counts as cheating.[/li]
[li]Don’t allocate 2 slots at one time. Only 1 slot at once. Finish your work before you start the next one! [/li][/ul]

Voting Guidelines

Remember that you are the customer, and you want to get the best out of a car for your money.
Vote accordingly! Some examples for what kind of questions you should be asking yourselves:

a) Is all that power actually accessible, usable and not far too dangerous?
b) Will the Comfort break your back?
c) Does it eat your wallet?

Do the voting by putting your name in the “Vote” line below each scenario. You have three votes per theme:

 1. “3MyForumID” is worth three points towards the placement.
 2. “2MyForumID” is worth two points towards the placement.
 3. “1MyForumID” is worth one point towards the placement.

If there is one or several names in that cell already, edit the cell and add your name: “2NameX, 1NameY, 2MyForumID”
with the score you want to give in front of your forum ID.

wait… sooo utility is not scored here? and practicality. i think that would make sense to be scored for this kind of market.
if not, then i dont think anyone would build and sedans or wagons because of weight, cost and fuel economy although they would profit from more utility and practicality scores

also catalytic converter?

You want a refined 6 Cylinder engine?

Got quite late yesterday… practicality is added - and it could make sense to build a sedan or wagon - as long as its cheap and economical, why not?

yeah. v12 on a cheap entry level… that running cost must be sky high…

That’s the problem. It isn’t.

holy derp… i just noticed the tables says kW and not HP… all this time. i inputted HP number

luckily(or not) i haven’t won anything. so it doesnt matter

so that’s why i always have higher power top weight ratio against the competitor…

Well it does affect your insurance costs…
I usually make a quick check if all main car stats are okay, and if cost are put in correctly. When these are correct, usually everything else is.

And yes… that V12 is freaky.

1.5l v12… like, how high can it revs? 10k RPM?

If the service costs are low I doubt it does a lot of revving.

well. i has the potential to.

at it has peak power at 2700 RPM. so i guess you’re right.

im also still debating.

i finished a car. but it stats are not as high as the v12 povozka.
but also not as cheap as the whiskas.
but it does have a super low running cost, thx to the design of running super low emmisions. which i doubt many people would notice at a glance.
but then again. im beaten by the v12. how the hell does a v12 with such low capacity be so efficient and produce so low emmisions?

im in the process of building a new car scraping everything else, and going full wagon. at least trying to. it’s relatively expensive.

New for 1990, presenting the facelifted Baltazar Quark Swagon 1.7 EXi. Using our tried and tested (read as very old, as in 1974 old) SOHC 8v cast iron engine, here displacing 1.7 litres and with the new multipoint fuel injection system, the Quark manages to be both economical and sufficiently fast. Couple with a slick 5-speed manual gearbox, the car can reach 100 kph in 13.3s, while only using 7 litres of gasoline per 100 km. Coupled with the massive boot and short footprint, the Quark Swagon is the perfect car for the growing urban family.

Edit: all of that and it gets an airbag, all the safety for you family. For just 12,000.
