…are interiors mandatory?
I don’t think so (although you can make one if you wish).
Interiors are not mandatory. But if you’re trying to fit a K9 cage in the back i will need to place down the rear seats in a way that makes sense to check if it fits. So you may want to measure it out in those cases.
Mine is not intending to have a K9 cage in the back so I think I’ll be okay in that regard.
Submissions now open.
Calling all Units, Calling all Units.
Introducing the latest in automotive crime fighting, the Osprey 3.9 Special. Available for fleet purchases.
I’m assuming that this trim of the Osprey is (or at least looks like) a general-purpose patrol version (unless stated otherwise). The lack of lightbars also implies an undercover variant. At any rate, this one looks like it’s built on one of the '84 Commoner body sets (most likely one of the two smallest versions).
HON HON
It’s “le sound” of the police.
Pocono WS2500 LT (Police Spec) is here.
(Yup it’s French Police Car livery)
The idea was for it to be more of a general-purpose unit, but with an emphasis on “autobahn” patrols.
Yeah, absolutely. It’s totally not because I suck at doing liveries and took advantage of not needing too… cough
It’s the 2.6m version of the Commoner body specifically.
Reminder that the deadline is on Saturday.
So far I have received 1 entry.
I would also encourage to write more in your post than “here’s a car”. Try to sell it, so to speak.
Ragnarock Mythos RS HPP
The Ragnarock Mythos is a proven platform for police vehicles across north America. Known for It’s low service costs and extreme reliability…
Now meet it’s Big Brother.
The RS HPP shares nothing but the body with the Fleet spec Mythos. It features an all new front end, with an aerodynamic style and menacing look, along with fender flares to fit wider track suspension with 245 front & 285mm rear tires. The rear roof and deck lid spoilers help to lower the lift of the car, helping it perform better in highway pursuits, The 302 CUI V8 may appear small, but with the help of Modern technology, that small motor produces 430hp at 6800 rpm and 350lb-ft at 5100 rpm.
Now onto the interior. It features a sports steering wheel, with a computer screen and radio in the Dashboard, Making communication and checking data extremely easy. It also features a gun in both The Driver and Passenger side doorcards for easy access. Just one clip and its off.
The rear passenger compartment is strictly for transporting criminals, which is why it is missing most things from the back seats of a normal passenger car… Like comfort.
(Damn, didn’t realize how close it was to deadline, so kind of half assed conversion)
SAARLAND AMBROSIA PILGER, POLICE SPEC.
The police spec Ambrosia Pilger is based on the utilitarian, economical and rugged LS version of the Ambrosia Pilger. However, the engine is the 3 litre 24 valve inline six fom the ES-24, making it suitable for fast pursuits. For the law enforcement, this is simply the best of both worlds.
Just a note:
As this is my first time hosting, i may have underestimated the deadline. There was 1 week of rules clarification period and now 1 week of the submission phase. If people think the deadline should be extended for another week, I am open to that proposition.
What do people who are interested/planning to submit think? Of course people who already submitted would also be able to utilize that time to tweak or change their entry.
Some potential entrants may need up to another week to finish their entries, so a 1-week delay to the deadline may be viable.
I’d say you can extend it by half a week. Because often what happens is people tend to work or finish working on a car and kinda forget about them, ending up not having enough time to make an ad post or whatever because real life gets in the way.
Totally not talking about myself.
1 week is very short nowadays. It might have been OK in Kee era and even early UE4, but the game is so much more complex nowadays…
Alright then. I will extend the deadline by one week. New deadline will be on 1.07, will update the OP accordingly. Didnt account for increased complexity, which is kinda my bad I suppose.
ROMANA CENTO TURBO I.E. - POLIZEI
In the recent days, performance has become more and more cheap, and nowadays, even a 16 year old with a deathwish and nothing to lose has been able to afford fast, sports saloons and hatchbacks, and the cases of such teenagers running from the police have been rising, and quickly. As such, to find a new, appropriate police vehicle to chase down such perpetrators has been a priority, and Romana Motori is proud to announce the new police-spec of their famous Cento Turbo I.E.
Extremely light, quite powerful, and with enough space to fit 2 officers and 3 perpetrators easily, this unique, turbocharged hatchback is the finest addition to the Hetvesian police department. Equipped with a 1.3L 4 cylinder turbocharged engine, pushing out an impressive 172 horsepower, but thanks to the extremely light weight of the vehicle, and close-ratio gearbox, is able to make the officer accelerate from zero to a hundred in almost 6 seconds, with a top speed of more than 250 km/h is also possible. The extremely light weight, low-profile tires, alloy wheels in a beautiful gold color, and oversized vented brakes with ABS on all four wheels, allows this car to easily keep up with the more powerful but heavier sports sedans, and while being tested on the track, having quicker lap times than cars with double or more the horsepower.
Though having been sold from 1982 all the way to 1994, the Turbo IE, hand-built in the Romana factory of Fruinia features the finest technology year after year. The original Romana Cento, as well as the entirety of the extremely-successful line-up of non-sport models, from the 50hp Cento E, all the way to the Cento Sporting, while being nimble and cheap, are not fast at all. This is an exception to the rule that Romana cars are slow, unreliable and badly made.
A true jack-of-all-trades, this one. Capable of keeping up with basically any perpetrator in the tight, city streets, as well as on the twisties and on the highway, all the while keeping a low profile, simply looking like a repainted 70hp Cento Sporting, not only is an officer able to complete his job, he will also have an absurd amount of fun while doing so. Acclaimed by most of the automotive magazines as being the finest of souped-up hatchbacks, this is the finest addition to the Hetvesia police department, balanced in absolutely all statistics.
