Dear Automation Developers,
I wanted to share some thoughts on the design of the Twin Screw and Roots superchargers in the game. While the functionality is excellent, I believe their visual design could benefit from significant improvements to align more closely with more common real-world supercharger designs.
For fuel-injected superchargers, the throttle bodies would look much better positioned at the front, similar to a Whipple 3.0L Gen 5 Coyote Swap supercharger. The current placement at the back feels unconventional and doesn’t reflect the traditional supercharger look. You should have different styles so if the throttle body is in the rear, a connecting tube routing it to the front—like the design on the Whipple 99-00 Lightning WK-2000T 2.3L Twin Screw Supercharger—would provide a more realistic and appealing appearance.
Carbureted superchargers should ideally have carburetors mounted on top rather than at the back. The current design diverges from the classic supercharger style we all know, such as the iconic Big Block 6-71 supercharger. It would be fantastic to see additional style options introduced, including a traditional top-mounted carburetor blower and a vintage rear-mounted carburetor blower.
Additionally, the pulleys and belts on the superchargers appear undersized and unrealistic. Larger belts and pulleys, such as a 3-inch cog belt and a more substantial blower pulley, would dramatically improve their authenticity and visual impact.
The current design feels underwhelming and may disappoint players who are passionate about traditional and realistic blower designs. Updating these superchargers to better reflect widely recognized real-world aesthetics would greatly enhance immersion and player satisfaction.
Thank you for considering this feedback, and I hope these suggestions can contribute to making the game even better for its dedicated community. Hopefully will consider these changes in the release of this update!
