Track builder woes

I keep hurting the track builder’s feelings. I was attempting to map Mount Panorama, but after 3 different attempts (including deleting all of the files) and over a dozen re-starts, I switched to a simpler plan, a NASCAR style tri-oval. Loading the track and “fix corrupt file” brings no joy, I get to the same point, and the error dialogue box comes up with the abort button closing the program. The error I get is below. If I manage to solve whatever it is, I’ll post beneath.

Yes, there are a number of bugs in the Al Rilma Track Editor right now that would prevent you from being successful in creating a track.

It would be wise to wait until at least the next patch comes out, and ideally probably one or two after that.
