Training For the Bavarian Rallye
No, they basically are values for the weight distribution. l_f is the distance from the center of gravity to the front axle, l_r is the distance from the center of gravity to the rear axle.

The line numbers might be a bit different between models with and without turbochargers.

If you search for ClFront and ClRear, you get the base lift distribution for the body (at least I think it’s only for the base body). I couldn’t find the actual downforce/lift values at 200 km/h though.
Ahh, thanks for clearing that up, Martin, would have made sense for them to be right next to the total downforce value

Finally managed to get over 405 BHP out of the EGT 92HC’s engine, 0-100kph in 3.10sec and 246kph top speed, overall it’s very similar to the old version, the only exception is that now it oversteers

Just to note: with build 1360’s bug fix for dual clutch, times should be far lower than before. On my 5 course test, I dropped 13.43 seconds total and went purple on literally every sector except one due to this alone. That remaining sector was only beaten by a car setup with absolutely no downforce (hey, it was going to get at least ONE sector right!).

YES! a sub 80 second lap on airfield, all the criteria are met, and i have a wonderfully ridiculous car

Wow that’s a lotta downforce.

Yeah, you’re running something a bit under 200% of my downforce. You could also lower the weight by using basic interior.

I tested my car a bit, with OC Adam’s 5 course test, and i have to say i’m damn slow, only 2068.xx seconds.
I didn’t tested it with the new build so i’ll give it another try with the dual clutch, but in the end i’m down on power. About 415 from a driveable turbo and about 405 from an N/A V8.
Btw. Does someone have times for the Super 1000 cars? 5 course test or just airfield?

So far, no, I haven’t even tried to work on a Super 1000 car at all yet.

The Žnoprešk Zoom is complete. (aesthetically speaking)

If someone could be intrested in its 108kW 1.0 liter 4 cylinder engine I could supply the client version of it

My Volvo is going to be back and with a vengeance. It seems my engineers have gone full Function > Form with this precariously placed oil cooler and side pipe

My car has some seriously brutal power delivery problems… 608hp delivers whiplash in spades :smiling_imp:

Need a drag radial option imo

Wow, 108KW, that would fix the super-slowness of my EGT-881C   it was difficult for me to hit 90KW

Presumably the tameness of that Volvo is quite low … I hope

The untame Volvo might become a running gag.

Haha, the Volvo is awesome, it needs to be in this one so badly!

Wow junny… 600hp I thought my 565 was pretty high and I was keeping it secret. Beware the BRC for here be dragons.

It’s not hard to make a ridiculous amount of horsepower, I myself just whipped out a 623hp engine in around 10 minutes, and with adequate cooling, will make 20k km MTBF. It’s not hard at all to make horsepower, you just need a good turbo, and the engine that can cope with that.

(whoops, 2cc too much, well it’s 1hp difference)

But, I’m not going to use it.
It is absolutely useless. Look at that utterly ridiculous torque curve. While yes, I do have 623hp at my disposal, That torque curve means the driver have to revs to 6000rpm at least, to use that 623hp grunt. With this engine instead of the I4 that I’m going to use, while I did get another 70-80hp to cope with the massive downforce, and it’s actually a 20kg lighter unit so it’ll actually give the car better weight distribution, the tameness has been half, and that means, like the Volvo, the driver will have to pray not to crash and die.

^ im with this guy

The Volvo will most likely show its face in some way shape or form whenever there is some competition to be had. I know that some people are far more competitive and competent than myself, i am here just for the lols.

I most likely will not submit the 600 horse beast as it is far from drivable but will gladly share the details after submissions have finished. Considering the BRC Shakedown results I am very eager to see the weapons the likes of Ulukay and Der Bayer will create. I feel that the real challenge will be drivability and suspension setup than raw horsepower and downforce.

Currently the Volvo is a bouncy unwieldy brick of brimstone and fire… every tree on every corner of the course will tremble at the sound of 15" tyres and brakes trying to reign in the fury of the flying brick

Same here, although my ~560bhp car is slightly more driveable than that 623bhp V8 thankfully.

You could make it work if you bunch up the gearing and your ok with having a top speed of 100mph lol

Okay I’ll keep my 565 with 4300 useable rpms but maybe its time to experiment with the extra cylinder arrangements.
