Perhaps some of that 200 octane “DEV’s Meth” as mentioned in the Q&A :unamused:

wow. Sub 80secs laps.

try this one.

although this car is only fast on this track, it’s still 100% BRC1100 legal!

Everyone who has tested your cars on the BRC Shakedown track:

Are your cars faster or slower than the Group B models?

Quite a bit faster, actually, because you should get 30-40hp more Horsepower from the technology if you build your engine right. And beside, you actually can tweak and optimised them all to go well on these track, while those cars in the shakedown wouldn’t and couldn’t get optimised.

Does anyone dare share how fast your went around the first stage?

With an NA V8, 376.18. With a Turbo I6? 3XX.85. BTW, it’s lower than the NA engine. I think NA engines are completely at a disadvantage… the only stage I’ve run that was faster in NA was BRC SD S3. ALL other stages were faster with turbos.

How about I show you how SLOW I go around the 1st stage? And, of course, the obligatory Airfield time.

While turbos did get nerfed, my I4 turbo is still lighter than my V8 Xp, Fp, I6, and I4 N/A engines while more powerful and having an alright powerband; certainly as drivable as the others, with 4500 rpm of on boost power and well more than 100 more hp than my N/As, with their maximum at about 435 hp.

Edit: I probably still will enter with a N/A engine; I just like them better. However, I do feel like turbos will be reduced even more next time; my tameness is only down by 5 switching between the two, with plenty for both.

Don’t worry, NA and turbos will very probably be closer together this time.

I think it’s impossible to create something that could be slower than my Demo 1600 model haha :stuck_out_tongue:

And my old Group B model did the Airfield in 1:27.3 so that’s pretty slow too

My car has only 246.1 kW, but it gets around airfield in 84 seconds.

Could you at least reveal what is behind the first “X”?

After rebuilding all the engines and chassis, the NA car went 377.XX now (prior time was with Build 1360, and was 376.18, for reference). The turbo rebuild goes 371.XX (prior was 370.85). With the 5 stage runs I did, fastest last build was 2030.75, I6T; and 2036.05, V8F. RC1362 build has a bit slower turbo car, while NA cars have lost more time. I feel like something is off though… I did some mixed build cars and I got at least similar results with V8F between 1360 and 1362… though due to mixed build, it might have been illegal (that result on 5 stage run was 2036.95).

1360 times:
V8F - 376.18
------ 2036.05
I6T - 370.XX
------ 2030.XX

1362 times:
V8F - 377.06
------ 2043.55
I6T - 371.XX
------ 2032.XX

Wow, the fastest I can manage with any engine is 386.XX.

OMG, I feel SOOOOO much better now. Thanks!

I’ll assume you fall somewhere between? :ugeek:

Pretty much right around where he/she was.

I was looking at the 376.xx and had an anxiety attack. (not literally, of course)
