TRIDENT S.C.
a little of us
As the 1980s came to an end and some of the great european car makers were having a hard time, a group of Italian and German gentlemen drivers put together a society located in Switzerland, planning to be the successor of Alfa Romeo, which future at the time was worrisome. Some of the engineers and designers that left Mercedes and Ferrari after Enzo's death, saw this as an opportunity to build a valid competitor of the new Japanese sporty cars. The 1.6 Speedster was ready in 1992, after 3 years of development and negotiation with Honda for providing the engine of the first car. The light speedster has been designed to be the sports car of the new decade and had huge success, considering the reasonable price - less than a BMW 325i - but also the not-so-good comfort. But car enthusiasts were ready to make some sacrifice...and soon they were rewarded. Since then, Trident has been committed to offering the joy of spirited driving also for people who were not ready to spend all their savings, while giving the higher-trim models the task of paving the way for new technologies and pushing the limits of engineering, without forgetting the heart and the passion, which what moves Trident still nowadays.

Even though I have really good eyesight and view this on a 28" monitor…

Other than that, really not bad! Cool idea, nice design, neatly presented (but really, please make the font larger, especially in the company description :stuck_out_tongue: ).

By today’s standards, the Speedster is a flyweight, and so it doesn’t need huge amounts of power to provide a thrilling experience for the driver.
