True or False: Forum game

False, never been outside the US. (but the fam has hosted foreign exchange students, so I’ve gotten a glimps at some other countries’ cultures)

TNP has also never been outside the US

False, I was born outside the US, raised outside the US, travelled outside the US, and live outside the US. I have visited the US twice (but only California, so hardly any of it, really, but if much more of it is anything like the ‘murder central’ part of LA I was visiting, I think that’d be quite enough).

TNP has a mixed heritage.

True. Scotch-Irish, Welch, Commanche Indian, English, French, German. Yeah, my family doesn’t discriminate. :stuck_out_tongue:

TNP is Scotch-Korean.

Yes, while the backrest is at 180 degrees and a bottle of vodka on my hands and the other one dangling out the window

TNP can’t wait until Koeniggsegg breaks the Nurburgring record

False. I hate Koenigsegg tbh. I’d trust Dodge over Koenigsegg to break it.

TNP thinks Bugatti Veyrons are ironically cool

true-ish. like, it’s sole purpose is to ‘look’ cool and be on a poster for kids to hang on their walls.

TNP is more curious about how freevalve is going in koeniggsegg

@Deskyx there was a massive flamewar about fast cars that Potto started.

I don’t agree that Bugatti is cool in any way, shape or form. :yum: Hate me all you like, I am a steadfast fanboy of Swedish produce, I don’t care how flawed it is. Koeniggsegg, Saab, Volvo (I mean, pffff, V8 AWD S80 sedan!) - I’ll take it.

Yes, I do wonder what’s up with Freevalve.

TNP also doesn’t understand how K’segg is likened to TVR (…don’t care b’cos I love both )

I can’t see any similarities between TVR and Koenigsegg because Koenigsess makes hyper cars and TVR made amazing sounding sporty cars

All of TNP’s ex’s live in Texas

@Deskyx DING! DING!

True. TVR were mad (and fibreglass too), K’segg are certainly bonkers, but they have more class. Let’s put it this way, they care about how dangerous their cars are to drive, TVR are more like “meh”.

TNP loves old TVR’s like the Vixen

I love all TVRs, in fact I wouldn’t mind dying at the wheel of one. At any age. them to pieces

TNP spends most of their free time browsing ebay/autotrader/bring a trailer/etc for cars

certain days, yes

TNP knows how to perform a JTAG

False, I didn’t even know what the heck that was and a Google search was inconclusive. That being said I don’t know an Xbox, and I don’t pirate, if that’s what you were referring to.

TNP uses too many acronyms.

T

@strop i actually wasn’t referring to Xbox, turns out a router my friend gave me failed to flash a firmware update and requires a JTAG to wipe and install a new firmware

TNP thinks that sounds hard

Tralse. I’ve never done it myself, but I’ve played with lots of electronics in my time. Some of the stuff I did required soldering stuff to the board (usually to install a plug for a serial connection), but never used JTAG.

TNP has messed with robotics.

True, I got a Lego robot to move ten feet (jk I used to a lot)

TNP hates American muscle cars

FALSE!

TNP has owned an American Muscle Car.

False
unfortunately I bought a ba xr8 instead of a Australian delivered 2003 mustang cobra when I hade the chance but bought the falcon cause it hade a 5.4 biggest car purchase mistake I have made

TNP knows that the old koenigsegg v8 was actually a 5.4 ford mod v8

False, for some reason I thought it was a Mercedes-AMG V8

TNP is going to a car show today
