The TSR Transporter is a cargo van. It can be converted to a truck because of its light truck monocoque chassis The first iteration of the Transporter was from 2015-2018. This is the pre-facelift version. There was 2 trim levels, the Standard and the Prestige. All Transporters come standard with AWD.
This is the Standard. It is equipped with steel rims with a hudcap on it. It is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3 litre V6 producing 244HP and 204 lb-ft of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed manual. It is able to get 29.7 mpg. The interior is the usual standard with a basic infotainment system. The steering is electric variable for easier driving. The price is $19260 without mark-up.
This is the Prestige. It is equipped with alloy rims. The engine was tuned to 257HP and 208 lb-ft of torque. The transmission is now advanced automatic for easier driving. It can do 25.1 mpg. The infotainment system is now standard. The price is $21203 without mark-up.
The 2019MY is the facelifted version. Due to the new trim naming system, the Standard becomes Smart and the Prestige becomes Style. Due to the new design language, all trims feature gloss black window trim and the alloy Matrix design rims. Gloss colours for the body is now not available. The bumpers have been facelifted to improve its looks. The rear lights now have LED lights. The engine is now swapped to the new Turbocharged 3 litre V6 unit (NV6 Series). All of the trims now have the advanced automatic tranmission as standard.

This is the Smart. The engine produces 253HP and 261 lb-ft of torque. It can do 33.5 mpg. The MSRP is $24571 with 20% mark-up. The towing capacity is 2053kg and the load capacity is 1400kg.

This is the Style. The engine now produces 287HP and 333 lb-ft of torque. It can do 28.5 mpg. The differential is now electric. The MSRP is $28702 with 10% mark-up. The towing capacity is 2129kg and the load capacity is 1400kg.
For the first time ever, the Transporter now has the Passenger Fleet Van version. It designed to be used in airport shuttle services, taxis, etc. It can only be bought as a fleet vehicle. The rims are now steel to save money. It can seat 7 people. It can be bought for $23615 without mark-up.
If you want a passenger version of the van, the Premium Passenger Van is the only civillian version of the passenger van. It can also seat 7 comfortably due to the premium interior with premium infotainment system. It also has a sunroof. The Matrix wheels are now 19 inches.

That looks nearly perfect! Just the right amount of dated and industrial, but durable looks, but still very modern. And now for some reason I feel obliged to make a van. Question is, Farox or Hokuto lore?
The Itakara was selling well. They have accumulated enough money to design another car. TSR wanted a successor to the first generation Ultra. So, they started designing one in 1995. Development took 5 years until in 2000, the car was on sale. It is way faster than the NSX and competed against the top supercars of the early 2000s. The body panels are made from carbon-fiber. The chassis is also made of carbon fiber. All the suspensions are pushrod suspensions. The 2nd generation Ultra was in production for only one model year, 2000. It is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 5 litre V8 producing 724HP and 647 lb-ft of torque. The body is designed to be as streamlined as possible. A low-drag 200mph+ version was planned, but never got into production. The car was way ahead of its time. It has active aero, AWD and more goodies.
The Ultra can go 0-60mph in 2.8 seconds and can do the quarter mile in 10.51 seconds. Its top speed is 185mph. It can do 1.17g of cornering. Its weight is 1394kg. This is one of the few times where a Japanese company go all out crazy. TSR only made 250 of these. They stopped production in late December 2000, but the NR5 division still produces it until 2005 and rebranded them as NR5 Ultra.
The most iconic part of the 2nd generation Ultra is this scoop. There are 3 of them, all next to each other. The middle one feeds air to the engine and radiator while the other 2 on the sides feed air to the intercooler. This is one of the things that differentiates the Ultra from others.
But, the Ultra legacy is not over yet. Expect a successor of this in the 2018 LA Auto Show…
In 1995, the 2nd generation TSR Fallwing was born. The car has AWD as standard as well as a newly developed advanced automatic transmission. The chassis was corrosion-resistant steel with partial aluminium body panels. The wheelbase is 3.04 meters, making it a very long car at its time. The turbocharged all-aluminium V8 from the Mont Blanc was also used in the Fallwing. The Fallwing has a luxury CD player with full leather interior. It also has hydropneumatic springs for maximum comfort. Although reliability was fairly low, it still sold quite well. The sales made enough money for further development of the 2nd generation TSR Ultra. There are only 2 trim levels for the Fallwing, the Standard and the Bussiness. The price difference of these two trims when new are massive. Most people bought the Standard while the wealthy people bought the Bussiness.
This is the top-of-the-line model, the Bussiness. The interior is now hand-made.
The 2nd generation Fallwing was in production until 2005 when it got replaced by the 3rd generation Fallwing. And that’s all of the TSR models in the 90s. Stay tuned for the 2000s lore!

The 1st generation were criticized by being too small. TSR had that in mind while designing the second generation. The 2nd generation was now bigger and more powerful, but heavier at the same time. This is the only generation with a coupe body style. TSR always have safety in mind. With the advanced crumpling zones, the car is now very heavy and also more expensive. But, families are now happier because of the increased size. Now, every trim has an optional all-wheel-drive system (except for the RS, having AWD as standard).
This is the RS, released in 2005. What is special about this one is that is only available as a coupe. Which means that it is now for the true drivers. AWD is now standard and the engine now makes 338HP. Every trim pieces are now blacked out. The grill is exclusive to the RS.
Nowadays, these cars are cheap as hell due to low desirability. It means that a lot of high school students buy these cars. But occasionally, these are transformed into monster sleeper cars. The 2.5 litre Inline 4 has a great tuning potential. But, they are also swapped with all kinds of engines like the V6 from the 3rd generation Kansai for example. Many RS versions are used for street racing, mostly in Japan, and motorsports. Production ended in 2008, 5 years in production, making it the most short-lived generation of the Itakara ever.
This is the 1st generation TSR Kazuma. It was released in 2003. It was for people who needed good fuel economy and practicality for families. It uses the same 2.5 litre Inline 4 from the 2nd generation Itakara.
This is the Standard. Equipped with a 2.5 litre NA Inline 4 producing 177HP going to the front wheels. It can go 33 mpg. It is using a manual transmission. This version has steel wheels.
This is the GS. The engine is now making 186HP. It can do 32 mpg. An AWD version is available, the GS4, which can do 30.7 mpg. It is using an advanced automatic transmission. This version has alloy rims and a Viscous LSD.
This is the TS. The engine is now turbocharged producing 300HP to the front wheels. There are no AWD version. It can do 25.7 mpg. It has a sportier suspension too.
This is the RS, the sportiest version of the Kazuma. It was released in 2005. It is now standard with AWD. The engine is tuned to produce 338HP. It can do 27.5 mpg. The suspension is now even more sportier. It is considered a sleeper.
After 14 years after the last Kansai, Kansai RS (2nd generation), the 3rd generation was born. Since the designer and the engineer of the 2nd generation Kansai passed away, they hired a new one. The focus of this car is different. This generation of the Kansai was meant to be a fun sports car to drive. The panels are partial aluminium with a full-aluminium chassis. The engine was transversely. The front-suspension is double-wishbone with multi-link suspension in the back. People were not liking the transverse engine placement because they were scared that front will be too heavy. But, is actually not too bad. The engine was a V6 ranging from a 2.5 litre, 2.6 litre and a 3.0 litre engine displacement. People also didn’t like the FWD. Luckily, the FWD is only on the base trim, the GT. Other trims uses a slightly rear-biased AWD system. It may not be a true successor of the previous Kansai or a GT car, it is still a good sports car.
This is the GT, equipped with FWD and steel wheels. The engine is a 2.5 litre NA V6 producing 207HP. It can do 33.8 mpg. The differential is a viscous LSD.
This is the GTS. It now has a wing and bigger alloy rims. The 2.5 litre NA V6 now produces 222HP to all 4 wheels, maing it AWD. It also helps make the car improve it acceleration from 0-60mph in 6.91 seconds. The suspension is now sportier. It can do 27.7 mpg.
This is the GTR. Released in 2003, this is a sportier version of the GTS. The engine size is now 2.6 litres now producing 235HP. Surprisingly, it can do the same fuel consumption as the GTS, 27.7 mpg. The differential is now a geared LSD. 0-60mph happens in 6.55 seconds. The top speed is 142mph.
This is the RS. Released in 2005, both the RS and RS Turbo are the sportiest version of the Kansai. The engine is now 3 litres now making 274HP. It can do 26.7 mpg. 0-60mph happens in 5.59 seconds with a top speed of 146mph.
This is the holy grail of all 3rd generation Kansai, the RS Turbo. Everything on this car is the same except for the engine. The 3.0 litre NA V6 from the RS is now turbocharged making 350HP. 0-60mph happens in 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 159mph, making it the fastest factory 3rd generation Kansai.

TSR’s Design Update for 2025 Facelifts and the 2020 TSR Fallwing

Approval from TSR’s Founder, Tomoyaki Takashiro, has been made to spread the message. This revised design element will improve the car’s design and presence. Recently, they have been playing around with laser lights. They will use those for high end cars. Most of the design updates are for the lights, but the front grill have been updated.
The general headlight shape will stay the same. The LED lights at the center are daytime running lights. The 3 laser lights lights up at low beams and high beams. The blinkers are now moved to the sides. The grill are also revised. The now have chrome at the top and bottom of the grill. The shape is a little bit more angular as you can see at the bottom.
The 1st generation TSR Angel ended production in 2000. The 2nd generation TSR Angel was released in 2003. It is now approximately 200kg lighter than its predecessor thanks to its all-aluminium body panels and chassis, making it a better driver’s car. It is also smaller in height and length. It used the same engine as the 1st generation Kazuma and 2nd generation Itakara.

This is the RS. It was released in 2005, the same year where the Kazuma and Itakara got the RS trim. This time, it has an AWD system with electric LSDs. The engine is now tuned to make 338HP. Its weight is now 1308kg. 0-60mph happens in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 140mph due to the increased downforce. It can do 30.2mpg. It also has a sportier suspension.
It 2015, it got a facelift. It now features a new LED headlight and taillight, new rims (only for the Standard and S versions) and a new infotainment system.
In 1995, TSR launched a special program secretly. They invited some of their most loyal customers to come to the headquarters in Japan. It was something AWD and rear-engined. The customers bought the cars in secret too. This car was one of the rarest and most exclusive TSR in the world. Only 10 of these exist. No one knows about it until now. It is the TSR Angel X-REX. It was a secret experimental vehicle. It may look like a normal TSR Angel, but it is way different. Everyone saw it as a modified Angel. But, true TSR fans will know that this is from the factory. This is a thank you gift to the most loyal customers of TSR.
The new lights, different rims, extra vents and a new rear wing shows that it is different. This particular one is the only one in the US. It complies with the regulations. The wing is pretty similar to what you see on the TSR Comet except that it is now bigger. The wing has a vent which cools the engine. Between the taillights is a grill instead of a black bar to release hot air from the engine. The fuel cap is now moved to the front since the fuel tank is also moved to the front. Even the little things like the mirror are exclusive to the X-REX. It is also wider than a normal TSR Angel which means that it could fit wider tires.
This is proof that the car is rear-engined. The engine taken from the 2nd generation TSR Tora Touring tuned to make a little bit more power and be more efficient.
