I placed a turbo on a engine, works fine, but I’m not sure if your aware or if this was just implemented in to save you from more calculations… but I know from real life that the more boosht you add, the lower your fuel usage should be because it in " theory " replaces some compression in the cylinder ? but the more boost I add, nothing happens ? or is it just cause I am using carbs and not other forms of injection but so far I’ve tested and no change in fuel consumption
You only get better economy at low levels of boost, around 0.2 - 0.3 bar. As boost increases the economy drops off, as more fuel is used to keep the charge cool, and stop the engine from knocking.
