name him
The car in the center is the Audi A2, the car in the back is a boring Merc of some sort
For me, E65 7 series, and every big grilled BMW
Agree on that 7-series, I always liked the trunklid and the blunt front brow of that car.
Lotus Europa. Always thought this car may not be the prettiest but it does look fun. I always see this thing popping up on ugly British car lists.
looks like a miatas drunk inbred cousin
Yeah I have always had sort of a love-hate relationship with the side profile. Looks like a chopped delivery van, haha
The Jaguar S/X Types, many people criticized the styling when they came out but I appreciate the retro look
KNUGCAB WE NEED TOCOOK
Those old Tercels were pretty tough to kill, but they were pretty cheap and slow and tended to rust like crazy anywhere with heavy road salt use. It’s pretty much what has killed them off. Have pretty fond memories of the one my father had in the 90’s. Was soo mad when he sold it off and replaced it with a Ford Escort.
They were common as dirt here still 10 years ago, but now I never see them anymore.
Oh most definitely
A compact, angular and practical wagon thingy with 4wd? Sign me up

The Vauxhall Nova/Opel Corsa A is a really fun-looking car, with it’s clean yet honestly quite charming lines.
(especially in this yellow colour scheme)
I am a fan of the interior looks as well, not gonna lie
What makes the Opel Corsa more interesting looking than almost all other superminis of the era IMO is the fenders that looks like if they have some kind of widebody kit already from the factory.
The then-customary hot hatch version, the GTE/GSi, definitely looks better still, especially after the facelift, which made it look happier than it did at launch. (The example shown below was actually owned by Colin McRae’s one-time co-driver, Nicky Grist, around 20 years ago.)
And unlike lesser trims, the GTE/GSi has a unique set of front and rear end bodywork that accentuates its boxy fenders even more.
The actual thing I like on this car is its all-wheel drive. It had it in 1966 way before some fancy-schmancy Audi Quattro.
I never knew these were awd
They were, Jensen Interceptor FF was first GT car in 1966, that used AWD. Audi Quattro only made it “common” in 1980.
