ok, I guess your not interested. Also, what have I said about swearing on my threads?
Just listen to @Darkshine5. He knows what a challenge takes. Iām his announcer currently. You might hear what Iām saying from him in a way that makes sense to you. Thereās nothing more I can say without this going south for no good reason.
Best of luck.
Mate im an aussie that spent 5 years fighting for your freedom and have the scars from having to deal with children torn to pieces so i WILL swear where i want and when i want. I offered you help andyou threw it back in my face without considering it good luck on these forums glad you bought the game but ya may as well fuck off back to your pre-teen mates and try to get laid for the first time. Cause ya got more chance with that then gaining any sort of acceptance here.
I see. I still donāt appreciate the swearing, but I canāt restrict your right to swear, but please consider that not everyone hear is an adult. To clarify, Iām 19, but that doesnāt mean I will be ok with swearing. If you donāt want to participate, then you donāt have to. Donāt go swearing about it cause I am not saying you canāt. The ignore list doesnāt work, so, please donāt swear.
Well if you donāt get any cars (Other than your own) isnāt that a forseeable outcome. Also closing the entries on the 14th gives way to little time to enter. Genrally a working week is about the min with 2 -3 weeks being good for a non on-going competition.
-Minivan must not exceed 85K in USD
I donāt believe that we can change the currency in automation, Have you made a converter for us that converts automation currency to usd? Also if I were to enter (Not saying that I will, not saying that I wonāt) I could think that you mean total cost and if you meant 85k on the market tab I would have an advantage as you didnāt specify it thus you could not reject my entry.
-Minivan must have a V6, V8, or V12
Donāt some irl mini vans have i3/4/6ās
if people include a download someone else can come and steal their minivan and make it their own. A better option would be to have people pm you the van to make sure it meets all of the regulations like every other challenge on this forum.
Okay Iām done that was my 2 cents donāt expect me to reply if you reply agressively to some of the things that I pointed out.
ok. I think in the options is an option for pounds rather than USD. You canāt change the rules, but now I guess we need a judge, cause you pointed out the fact that putting downloads up on the thread is not the best idea. I will remove mine, and will get a judge. Limit to entries is now 10. Thank You @UMGaming. I do see an outcome with what you mean about the forseeable outcomes. The challenge then didnāt work.
@CNCharger: Please do not @tag me if I havenāt posted in the thread. I get enough updates on other threads in this forum that a random @tag in a thread that I havenāt posted in is very annoying. Seriously, I enter a lot of challenges, I answer a lot of peopleās questions, and Iām in the off-topic area a lot.
This is very much true. I enter cars into just about everything, so long as itās reasonable.
Okay, with both of those things out of the way, let me give some advice from someone who ran a semi-successful challenge, and has been here a good long while on these forums:
Read the post for how to set up a challenge. No, seriously, before starting challenges, read it. Even I still do that. Iāve run a Car Shopping Round (specifically round 22), and I held the Hybrid Beaters League.
Second, you canāt expect someone else to judge your challenge. If you open a challenge, you are committing to judging it yourself. The muscle car challenge? I donāt consider that successful. What was wrong with it? You asked someone else to judge the challenge.
Third, itās perfectly fine to have a benchmark car in a challenge. This is, however, not to be competition for everyone else. Iāve used benchmarks in the CSR and in HBL, but the only time the benchmark was involved was for the non-essential ābest looking carā vote.
Fourth, and most important, listen to the people who have been here for a while. Seriously, I lurked on these forums for two or three weeks before I even thought of joining a challenge, let alone hosting one. Watch how most people do things, join a couple challenges. Donāt just leap into the idea of hosting, itās not easy. Seriously, itās really and truly not.
And finally, your no swearing rule is honestly garbage. Iāve heard worse come from childrenās playgrounds than Iāve heard thrown around this forum. Youāre not protecting anyone, the people youāre aiming to protect are probably just as likely to drop f-bombs in your general direction, and it just annoys the older members on the forum to be told by someone who isnāt a moderator what they can and canāt do.
Ok, sorry about tagging you. This is my thread, and I would like it to be cleaner. There is no problem with a no swearing rule. Would you like someone to walk up to your house and spray paint on it? I intended to have a public vote.
Ok, you know what, thread closed. Not One More Reply from ANYONE. I will redo this one, properly.
