Hello, i bought the V16 edition a while back. if i activate my key now will i lose my V16 edition?
Nope! Free Steam key for the V16s will be redeemable form your user control panel once it is available.
Cheers!
many thanks, cheers. best tycoon game ever
Killrob, any idea when we’re getting the new engines and such?
V6s are the first to come, that will happen before the tycoon mode is done. The rest will be added in a big content addition phase after that!
Bodies will be added with every bigger update.
Cheers!

Plans changed, as we realized V6s were more important and there was a lot of demand by our fans to get them sooner. So we listened.

Product development is not about being hypocritical. It’s about coming up with different ideas and different solutions. Plans change - this has nothing to do with hypocrisy. I would think, if anything, you’d be happy about news like that. I know I am. (SHO here I come!)
By your definition, GM was “hypocritical”, “teasing”, and “trolling” for considering a mid-engine C7 Corvette, and then coming out with a front engine one.
After being warned for the unacceptable behavior before I perma-banned the character today.
To Daffy’s comment I would like to add a different view: I still think we SHOULD do I3s first, but do not have the means to do so because we only just got the sounds for V6 engines (don’t have them for any other types yet). They are the most requested engine type too, so it seems logical to do V6s first instead under these circumstances. If we had the I3 sounds ready, they would go first because they will be an extreme point in the campaign balance.
chants V6! V6! V6!

So since you already have the sounds for the V6, then I assume you also already know what the angle of the V6 is going to be? I sure hope its the optimal 60 degrees?
Don’t you mean 90°? And aren’t we drifting into the sea of another topic now?
60, because a 90 v6 is just a v8 that someone stole a pair of cylinders from
Great
WOO!!! I can make my Ranger 2.8 then Loved that engine, hated the carb, stupid EEC-III feedback carb setup.
What is V16 edition ?
I believe its better known as the “Turbocharged Edition”, at least it does include V16 engines…

Hey, just bought Automation today and I’m glad to hear V6s are in the works for the near future! It’s refreshing seeing game developers interact with and even listen to their community as much as you guys do, and I’m loving the game so far, thank you very much!!

Saying the truth equals a perma-ban around here, interesting. I guess now would be the best time to say this since Killrob is either going to ban this account or get someone to do it for him (if no one beats him to it) so here it goes, as much as I look forward to seeing V6s earlier and even plan on using them as soon as they come (especially if I can throw a single turbo and not one per bank on it) it doesn’t change the fact that Killrob and whoever else is a hypocrite for the decision.
Okay. Sure. Making a decision, then reevaluating it later and deciding there is a better option is being a hypocrite (it’s also how the design process works, you realize reasons for doing things differently and change what you’re doing on that basis)
I should also point out that for a long time we said we’d probably be moving to Unity, now we’re most likely going to be moving to UE4 instead. Such hypocrisy
You didn’t get banned for speaking some kind of truth, there is no secret reason we’re doing V6s next instead of I3s.
You got banned because you kept randomly calling both developers and long term community members hypocrites, liars, trolls and wouldn’t stop when we asked you. I actually found a lot of your feedback very interesting, and much of it quite true. But you need to stop randomly insulting people, it’s not OK.
