Yeah it did, it was a late tie that I wasn’t expecting (After the first 1-3 days no more votes were really casted and yours made it into a 3 way tie on the last day before I closed the votes) so I decided to be nice and let everyone that tied for first be a chassis surplier.
Ok, so I haven’t been following. Do I now need to pick one of the engines and chassis and make a car out of it? I can tune and modify both the engine and chassis right?
So my game got bugged with the last update because I’ve opted into Open Beta. I think I may have opened my car too so I’m not sure if I can fix anything right now. I just put automation onto a second computer so I might try to download the stuff from the thread and build on there.
We are in the stage of getting the chassis to the new update, after this stage then you pick an engine that won the engine strawpoll (Top Two engines) and a chassis that won the chassis strawpoll (Top three chassis). Then you make your racing car out of the engines and chassis that I will surply once I have all of the ported over chassis. The people that won the chassis voting now need to remake or port their chassis over to the new update, not everyone needs to do that.
Also quick update, I have changed the name to V6 Supercar’s Season 1 instead of V6 Supercar’s Season 1 Reborn because the name was to long with the Reborn part in it
Yeah because the balance changes are pretty drastic, I ended up rebuilding the whole thing. Pushrods on back. It’s more consistent with the suspension setup in the real V8SC anyway.
I think they’re vastly more expensive for starters. I can’t say for sure but I was able to push much harder with my tuning than before, so it is different yes.
Race tuning is now here, unfortunetly Absurdist hasn’t contacted me about the chassis so we are down to 2 chassis anyway here are the chassis and engine files, go make your racecars. Deadline is the 15th of January 2016 so you have just over a month to send in your racecars. Here is a recap of the race rules (The better explained version):
Racecar Tunning:

Must use a compitition engine (Can’t change settings)
Any Engine - Car combo is allowed.

Safety: Advanced - no negative quality
Gearbox: sequential, single clutch, 6 gears

The first rule is saying that you can’t change fixtures but you can morph the body of the car and make race liverys using the mod in the link.
The next two rules are saying that you must use a engine made in the competition but you don’t have to use the one you found in the chassis in the first place.
The next three are pretty self explanatory.
The rest are trim related (the gearbox and tyres stuff) requirments.
When making your race car please make a new trim for the chassis (If you clone the exsiting trim that is fine).
