Venom Sportwagen AG

Nolden Automobil GmbH founded in 1951 a new sub-company: “VENOM Sportwagen AG”

Venom will be a standalone company and developes by itself. But to be competitive, the Venom cars will be sold in the Nolden showrooms. As a subsitute Nolden gets all access to the Venom developments, while Nolden will supply some parts to make the production of the Venom cars cheaper.

Venom was formed as a sportscar brand. But the cars will be expensive and mostly exclusive. Venom won´t produce a mass selling car. All cars will be made by hand and only by order of a customer. The showcars in the showrooms will only show, what the customer can get. Those showcars won´t run.

'51 Geneva Auto Saloon
VENOM 533 Series
The first car from Venom was the 533 Saloon. Venom committed Fabio Luigi Rapi for the design of all trims of the 533. 11 ‘Saloon’ cars were ordered by customers from '51 to '59. No further cars will be produced.
It´s the only version with the ‘S’ engine and just a 2 barrel twin carburetor by Weber. The car was performing way better than the Bugatti Type 101 with similar power, but less weight in the Venom. Not only the handling and sportiness was better, also the economy. But compared with one of the best sportcars from the beginning of the 50’s, the Ferrari 212 Int., the Saloon was heavy, slow and not very economic. But you where able to get a car nearly as good as the 212 Int. for less money. The 533 Saloon was over $1.000 cheaper, but also nearly $3.000 more expensive than the Bugatti.

In '53 the Coupé 2+2 was added to the line up. While the body was changed a bit, Venom build the ‘P’ trim of the 2.9L V8. The triple carburetor was able to get 3 extra hp out of the engine and make the coupe even better than the Ferrari. The Venom 533 Coupé was 0.6 seconds faster from 0-60 mph, but less economic. 5 cars were build from '53 to '60 and all were cheaper than the Ferrari 212.

The third trim was shown in '55: The Roadster 2+2. It was also equipped with the 2.9L V8 533P, but was optimized otherwise. The Roadster was the first Venom with a progressive spring and finally able to be faster than the 212 Int. While it also wasn´t as economic, as the Ferrari, at least even the 3 rare build Roadster from '55 to '57 were sold for $200 less than the Ferrari.

A fourth trim is expected for '58. An rich actor from the USA ordered a Cabriolet from Venom. It will be the one and only unique ‘Venom 533 Cabriolet’. The car was ordered with the till now never build 2.9 V8 533R engine. That will make a total of 20 Venom 533 ever been build.

'58 Turin Motor Show
VENOM 533 Series Cabriolet
In 1958 Venom finished the unique 533 Cabriolet. The car was only once build. Giovanni Bertone was committed for the design of the car, while Venom itself worked on the engine to build the ‘R’ specification.

The Cabriolet get a shorter wheelbase than the other 533 cars and was the lightest by far. As the costumer ordered, the seats were made by hand from napa leather and was produced in Prato, Italy. Even a phonograph from the USA was included by the wish of the US actor, who want not to be named and ordered the car.

With the new engine the car gained 8 hp and 5 Nm. This made the car even faster than the Roadster 2+2, while the Cabriolet is even 1.2 seconds faster from 0-60 mph than the Ferrari 212 Int. It´s also the only car with 2LS Drums in the front and will stop the car earlier than the Ferrari. But again the car wasn´t designed for economy, while the car became on of the most expensive cars of that era.

'66 European Motor Show Brussels
VENOM 627 Series
In 1966 Venom showed the second car of the company. The new 633 Series contains three trims: CSS, CSP and CSR.
This time Venom aquired no design studio design the car. Venom used the '65 Nolden Rennsport RX I as a base to build the 627 Series.
The competitors of the car will be the Ferrari 365 California, the Maserati Ghibli and the Jaguar E-Type MkI.

All three got a bigger engine, but only the Maserati uses also a Quad Carburetor. While the Venom trims have the least power, they are also the shortest and nearly the lightest.
All 627 and the three competitors got a double wishbone suspension in the front, but different concepts in the back, which will give all a unique character. Only Ferrari uses hydraulic springs, while the CSS and CSP have still brake drums in the front and only discs in the back. The CSR will feature them in the front and back, like the E-Type. The Ghibli and the 365 use already vented discs.
As a result, the CSS and the CSP are the slowes, together with the heavy 365. The E-Type is a bit faster, but the CSR and the Ghibli can top all cars.

In the sprint from 0-60 mph the Ferrari has the most problems with the weight, like the Ghibli does. Both score times of 6.4 and 6.5 seconds. The CSS got over 80 hp less, but is still .1 seconds faster. Also the E-Type uses his lightweight to go down to 6.1 seconds. The best are the CSP (5.9 seconds) and the most powerful Venom, the CSR (5.8 seconds).
But while all Venoms come to a stop after about 39 meters, the Ferrari needs over 42. Maserati does the best job, compared to the heaviest car and needs just 36 meters. Again Jaguar advanced by the weight of the E-Type and can stop the car in under 36 meters.
Also the overtaking factors were compared. In the sprint from 50-75 mph (80-120 kmh). The 365 needs 6.5 seconds, the Ghibli 7.7 seconds. The E-Type can do this in just 4.3 seconds, while the CSR needs just phenomenal 3.1 seconds.
The Economy of all Venom is at 13.5 to 14.1 lt/100 km and less than the 365 or the Ghibli needs. And once again the best of all is the lightest car: the E-Type.

Venom will build 23 CSS of '66-'71 for $18.155 each. The Ferrari is a bit more expensive and is available for $18.895, all 12 CSP will cost $18.950 and will be sold from '67-'70. For $19.000 you can get the Ghibli, the most powerful and heaviest car. All 5 CSR of '68 are already sold for $19.765, the most expensive car of all. That will make 40 Venom 627 ever been build. But wait, what about the Jag? Again the britons made their homeworks and will sell the best average car for just $5.580.

'74 Frankfurt Motor Show
VENOM 747 Series
In 1974 Venom presented it´s new 747 Series. Leonardo Fioravanti was aquired to design the car.
Along with it´s sporty look, two new V8 with both over 300 hp developed. The MR-Layout was now much more in use by sportscar builders, like it was done in the Maserati Bora, the De Tomaso Pantera or the BMW M1.

Only De Tomaso still used a Pushrod head, because of it´s Ford engine, while BMW is the only one with 4 valves per cylinder. In the end, the GTS has even more power than all of those three competitors, while the GTD got 30 hp more than the GTS. Only Maserati was able to put more torque into it´s engine.
The Venom is also the shortest of all, while the M1 is the lightest. And while all other companys use double wishbones in the front and back, Venom uses a MacPherson Strut in the front. But also Venom not uses the coil springs like Maserati, De Tomaso and BMW do, they use a gas mono-tube spring.
Also the brakes of the 747 are a little bit outdated. Maserati and BMW have vented discs, De Tomaso uses 4 piston solid discs. Venom is still going with it´s 2 piston solid discs.

But when it comes to what the car can, the 747 isn´t outdated. The topspeed of the GTS is just a little bit behind the Maserati, while the GTD is the fastest of all.
In the sprint disciplines the BMW is one of the hardest competitors. The M1 can acclerate very clean and the lack of power isn´t neccessary anymore. The GTS is 0.5 seconds slower than the M1 from 0-60 mph, only the GTD is able to be 0.1 seconds faster. But back to 0 the BMW is the best, followed by the GTD. Because of the outdated brakes, the GTS is the worst in this discipline.
Also the Venom isn´t very economic. While the M1 uses under 13 lt/100 km, the Venom wants about 16 lt/100 km. Only the Maserati Bora needs more.

But everything has it´s price. The M1 was never concepted for the road, but will be sold for $115.000. The Maserati costs just $28.900, while all 27 GTS are available for $27.425. The GTD will be build only twice and both cars are already sold for $68.845. And again we got an underdog: The Pantera. The De Tomaso wasn´t the best, but always short behind the best car and you can buy one for just $10.000.

'84 Geneva Auto Show
829T-Series
In 1984 Venom build the new VENOM 829T Series. It was the first time Venom used a Turbo engine, while Giorgetto Giugiarowas comitted to design the car.

The engine had now also a mechanical fuel injection, while even the GTS produced 400 hp. A Ferrari 288 GTO had also 400 hp, a Lotus Esprit S3 even just 213. Only the most hightech production sportscar from 1986, the Porsche 959, had more power. But the Venom was over 200 kg lighter than the Porsche, while the Lotus and Ferrari were even lighter than the Venom.

And while the Lotus had still no vented brake discs, the Porsche had everything. From and adjustable ride height to a 6-speed gearbox. Even an dynamic all-wheel-drive was included, why this '83 presented car was able to to acclerate very quick in every conditions. Compared to this, the 829T had quite nothing. A light basic radio without casette, no door panel, just a basic safety package, lightweight and uncomfy sport seats and only ABS as a driver assists. The GTC was build as a cabriolet, but had no mechanism for it. You´ve had to remove 2 roof panels by yourself and leave them in the garage. Why in the garage? Because the radiator was in the front of the car and the car had not enough space for cargo. Only 40L, whats about a small bag, was the available space.

But even in this trim, the 829Ts were heavier than the 288 or the Esprit. The reason is the cast iron V8. It has the same size of the GTO or 959 engine, but the materials are heavier.

The top speed of the Esprit was just 152 mph, while the Ferrari was able to go over 190 mph and the 959 can speed up to 193 mph. And here it shows, that the either heavier or least powerful 829T GTS was able to do the same. This ‘starter-model’ was also able to got 193 mph, while the closed GTC was even able to go 194 mph with it´s more powerful engine.

But the heavy engine and the lack of a hightech powertrain will make the 829T the worst car from 0-60 mph. The GTC was just able to score 6.1 seconds, while even the Esprit could do it in 5.7 seconds. The 288 was at 60 after 4.9 seconds, while the AWD 959 could do it in just 3.7 seconds. The Venom was just able to outline the Esprit in the sprint from 60-120 kmh, because the turbo was awake at this point. But even now the 288 and 959 were quicker.

And coming to the economy, the Ferrari was the best with under 12 lt/100 km, while even the Porsche needed just 12.5 lt/100 km. The Venom needs about 18 lt/100 km.

35 GTS were build and sold for $126.000 from '84 to '89, 11 GTC were also directly sold from '84 to '86 for a price of $130.000. A Ferrari 288 GTO costed $132.500, while the Porsche 959 was the most expensive with his $210.000. The Lotus Esprit S3 was the ‘budget-car’ with just $33.200.

'91 Frankfurt Auto Show
829T GTR Competition
After the 829T was quickly beaten by the Ferrari, Porsche and even Lotus, Venom worked hard to get back it´s respect.

The engine was overhauled and equipped with a Weber Single EFI, to produce 466 hp and 541 Nm. The car had also no radio anymore, to reduce the weight of the GTC by 7 kg, while the Springs where changed to an air twin-tube system.

The result was stunning. The 829T GTR Competition was now able to go 205 mph and sprint as fast as the AWD Porsche 959 from 0-60 mph. But till 60 mph the turbo was still asleep. At the sprint from 60-120 km/h, the turbo wakes up again an will bring you 0.1 seconds quicker to your goal. That will make the car fast in a drag race, than the Esprit, the 288 or the 959.

Venom also worked on the brakes and the car is now able to stop earlier than the Porsche. Only the economy wasn´t a point Venom was interessted in. 20.6 lt/100 km are the result, nearly as double as much the competitors needed.

After Venom told to produce this car, all 4 ever build GTR Competition were sold in 30 minutes at the auto show. The customes didn´t cared about the price of $224.815, what´s even more than the Porsche costs.

'92 Frankfurt IAA
VENOM 956-Series

In 1992 VENOM overhauled the 829T to build the new 956-Series. The design of the car still based on the 829T, but was revised by VENOM itself.

The 956-Series was started in '91 to honor the 50th anniversary of VENOM. The ‘S’ is the starter version of the 956, while 8 other trims will be released in the next years.

This trim will build up just 300 hp out of the 5.6L NA V8. But VENOM worked again on the weight and was able to be about .5 tons lighter than a Cizeta Moroder V16T or Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary.

As a result, the 956S was nearly as fast as both competitors, while acclerating as fast as the Lamborghini and even faster from 80-120 kmh than both, while being much more economic.

The 956S was equipped with 235/14R17 and 315/35R17 Medium Compounds and Alloy Rims. VENOM also used 335/305 Vented Discs to stop the car in less than 34 meters from 60 mph, while the undertray had a fully clad. The sport seats were completed with a standard cassette radio and ABS. No further assists are used, because the adaptive air springs will still provide a good handling. Even the car is set very stiff and has a roll angle of just .64°. The 956S has a weight distribution of 30/70 and reaches 118 mph after 12.8 seconds at the 1/4 mile.

Also the price was very low for a VENOM. All 37 cars build from '92-'98 were sold for just $133.965 and cheaper than a Lambo or as the overpowered V16 Cizeta.

'93 Turin Auto Show
VENOM 956GT

One year after the 956S, VENOM started to build the new 956GT. The car gains 50 hp and 32 Nm, while it´s about 40 kg heavier.

But while even this car got less power than the V16T or the Countach, it got more torque than the Lambo. Also the car is still the lightest of all and it doesn´t feels like a lack of power.

The top speed is now at 192 mph and the best of all three, while the 956GT is now .2 seconds faster at 60 mph than the Lambo and just .2 seconds behind the Cizeta. From 80-120 kmh it is over a second better than both, while the GT just needs 9.3 lt/100 km.

Also the price is just a little bit higher, while only 22 GT will be build till '97. It costs now $136.395, compared to the $300k of the Cizeta or $145k of the Countach.

With a geared LSD the GT has just 2.6% wheel spin, while 235/14R17 and 315/35R17 Medium Compounds and Alloy Rims are used like on the 956S. Also VENOM didn´t changed the brakes or aerodynamics, but offers a premium cassette radio to the car. Like before, only ABS will be included, while the suspension is also as hard as possible to allow a roll angle of just .66°.

VENOM 956GT Cabriolet

In the same year, VENOM also presented the rare Cabriolet of the GT. Just 5 copies will be produced, while the updated engine has now 70 hp and 28 Nm gained. That makes the car no competitor for the Countach anymore, but still the V16T. Also the Audi Avus Quattro Concept and the Jaguar XJ220 will be seen as rivals.

While Jag uses a small V6 turbo engine, Audi goes with a W12 power unit. Still the 956GT Cabriolet has the least power, but again nearly as much torque as the Audi or Cizeta with their bigger engines and more cylinders. Also the weight is now higher, than before and it´s the first 956 over 1.2 tons. But this will still make the VENOM the lightest of all.

The Cabriolet is now able to reach 199 mph, like the XJ220 does. But the Audi concept car is prospected to go up to 211 mph. Also in the sprint from 0-60 mph the VENOM can beat the two real produced rivals by at least .1 seconds, but again the Avus is faster. Much faster! The Audi beats the VENOM by 1.1 seconds. But because it´s just a concept, Audi won´t tell any further data of the car. That will bring the Jag and the Cabriolet to the top at the sprint from 80-120 kmh with their 3.8 seconds.

Also the economy is now higher, than before. The Cabriolet needs closed 11.7 lt/100 km, but that will make the car still the most economic. All 5 Cabriolets that will be build are already sold for $185.600 and will be assembled till '96. The Audi has, of course, no price for the public. That will make the Jag the most expensive with over $640k.

The GT Cabriolet gets now a twin fuel injection system and luxury seats and a CD-radio. But everything else is quite like the GT, except the removable roof panels. The weight distribution is still at 30/70, but the roll angle is now a little bit higher at .71°.

'94 European Motor Show Brussels
VENOM 956GTP

VENOM calls the GTP the ‘first supercar of the company’. The car gaines 50 hp and 9 Nm, and is the first car, which can be competitive to the Ferrari F40.

The GTP lost 53 kg and is by 100 kg lighter than the Avus or the F40 and over 300 kg lighter than the XJ220. As a result, the GTP is faster than the Jag and even 2 mph faster than the F40. Only the Audi semms to be still to good.

The 956GTP can now acclerate as fast as the XJ220 up to 60, while the F40 is .4 seconds faster. At the sprint from 80-120 kmh, the VENOM is now .4 seconds quicker than the Jag, but .5 seconds off the Ferrari. But as a plus point, the VENOM needs just 11.8 lt/100 km, while the XJ and the F40 need about 14 lt/100 km.

Also the price is still on the side of the 956. VENOM sold all 13 GTP from '94-'94 for $229.729, while Ferrari wants about the double amount and Jaguar wants the triple amount of money.

The GTP gets 245/45R17 in the front and 335/35R17 medium compound tires, what´s nearly the widest available. While the brakes are still the same, the sporty interior has just a basic cassette radio to safe weight. And this time, because of massive wheel spin, the GTP gets a traction control to the ABS as driver assists. But the car is set still very stiff to allow a roll angle of just .64°.

'95 IAA Frankfurt Auto Show
VENOM 956LM
While even the GTP was quite sporty, VENOM pushed the engine again to get 50 hp and 26 Nm more out of it. Also the car lost 9 kg to be more competitive to it´s rivals.

The LM is now nearly the most powerful of all and is even faster than the Avus concept car. But while the LM can now acclerate quicker to 60 mph, the F40 is still faster from 80-120 kmh and the Avus is again out of reach. But again VENOM made the most economic car.

The price of all 9 LM was $452.115, but all are already sold before the car was published and will be produced till the end of the next year.

It will be the last trim with a Manual-5 gearbox, but has already electric LSD. VENOM uses now 255/45R17 in the front and 345/30R17 in the back. No wider tires are available. While the brakes where unchanged, a downforce undertray and cooling flaps were added to produce more drag. The interior is still sporty with basic cassette radio, ABS and traction control.

'96 Turin Auto Show
VENOM 956SS
The SuperSport gained another 60 hp and 48 Nm, while VENOM kept the weight of 1141 kg. That makes the Bugatti EB 110 a new rival, even the EB has a V12 Quad-Turbo. But the Bugatti has a little less power and torque, while it weighs about 500 kg more.

The 956SS is now able to go over 351 kmh and is faster than a F40, XJ220 or even the EB 110. Also in the sprint from 0-60 mph the 956SS outrules every competitor. .5 seconds faster than a F40, .9 seconds faster than a XJ220 and even .2 seconds faster than the EB 110. But the Quad-Turbo shows it´s power at higher speeds. While the Bugatti needs just 2.4 seconds from 80-120 kmh, the 956SS needs 3.0 seconds. Also the F40 is fast this time by .1 seconds because of it´s turbo.

And once again the VENOM is the most economic of all. But all 7 produced 956SS will be sold for $518.870 and that´s nearly the highest price of all.

But you get a 6-speed gearbox and carbon fiber seats for your money. Everything else was copied from the LM, to maintain the weight.

'97 Geneva Auto Show
VENOM 956 GTR Competition
While McLaren showed it´s F1, VENOM build the new GTR Competition to stay on top with this supercar. 90hp gained, 46 Nm more and 1 kg lost. But McLaren comes with the .5L bigger V12 naturally aspired. Also the McLaren is lighter by 2 kg, while having a little less power. But McLaren worked on a better aerodynamic and of course: engine displacement can´t be replaced by anything, except more engine displacement.

And that is the reason, why the McLaren can reach 240 mph, while the GTR can get just up to 226 mph. But atleast VENOM was able to sprint in under 3 seconds up to 60, while the F1 needs .3 seconds more. Only from 80-120 kmh the F1 is still quicker, while the VENOM is even slower than the EB 110.

This time, the VENOM isn´t the most economic. The overhauled engine needs premium fuel and that´ll makes the EB 110 and the F40 more economic.

Also the price is now much higher. The 4 produced and sold GTR Competition costed nearly $700k, only the F1 is more expensive. Why much of the car is like in the SS, VENOM stripped down once again the interior. You´ll get no entertainment, light seats with no padding, no inside door handles (just a rope), nearly no cockpit casing and a manual window lifter. All just to save weight.

But the story doesn´t end here. The initial ‘V50’ to celebrate VENOMs 50th anniversary wasn´t presented till now. The V50 was the reason, why VENOM started the 956-series and the company wants now to have the fastest naturally aspired and the fastest turbo car. These two trims will come in '98 to blow your mind and become a dream car for every little kid.

'98 IAA Frankfurt Auto Show
VENOM 956V50
To celebrate the 50th anniversary, in '91 it was planned to build the V50. VENOM used everything to get 741 hp and 686 Nm out of the 956 engine. That´ll make it most powerful engine across all competitors.

Also VENOM safed 38 kg to make it the lightest 956 and even lighter than the McLaren F1. As a result, The VENOM 956V50 is able to be 1 mph faster than the McLaren F1 to become the fastest naturally aspired car. From 0-60 mph the V50 is .4 seconds faster than the McLaren, but .3 seconds slower from 80-120 kmh. Thatt will become the reason to build the V50T.

But still the VENOM is more economic than the F1, while the two 956V50 ever build will be sold for $956.956. The trim is quite like the GTR, but VENOM stripped once again the interior down to safe the weight.

VENOM 956V50T
To beat the F1 by any account, VENOM worked to get a turbo engine in the 956V50. The engine gained 30 hp and 165 Nm, while it´s also 56 kg heavier than the V50. But still it worked out.

The V50T can speed up to 400 kmh and .1 seconds faster from 0-60 mph. And even from 80-120 kmh the McLaren is now beaten by .1 seconds, while the engine is very economic and needs less fuel than the EB 110 or the F40.

But despite there is a price of §1.250.956, you can´t buy one. The only car ever built was sold to an katarian sheik. VENOM won´t tell about the interior, but it´s said, that it got a luxury hand made interior with full entertainment, but no ABS and no traction control.

'98 Detroit Auto Show
VENOM 962-Series
In '98 VENOM showed the new 962-series. The car was designed in-house in co-work with Pininfarina.

It starts with the S540. The car produces 539 hp and 595 Nm and is a little bit stronger as a Ferrari F50 and about at the level of a Lamborghini Diablo SV II. Also the weight is about what a Diablo or a Mercedes CLK-GTR has.

But VENOM was able to squeeze a little bit mor top speed than all of it´s competitors out of it. While the F50 is the fastest with 202 mph, the S540 can go up to 205 mph. But the heavy weight let the car sprint from 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds, .1 seconds slower than the F50 and .2 seconds slower than the Diablo and CLK-GTR.

From 80-120 kmh the lightweight F50 is the best of all, while the S540 can only beat the Diablo by .2 seconds. But like with the 956, the 962S540 is the most economic of all. The 25 S540 build from '98 to '01 will be sold for $268.452.

'99 IAA Frankfurt Auto Show
VENOM 962P580
The P580 gets 579 hp and 601 Nm and is nearly the most powerful of all. The car is now 1 mph faster and from 0-60 mph as fast as the Diablo and CLK-GTR. Also from 80-120 kmh it is possible to acclerate as fast as the CLK-GTR, only the F50 is still quicker.

While the economy was also improved, the 19 cars of this trim will be build till '01 and sold for $306.020, what is just a little bit more than the Diablo.

'01 Geneva Auto Show
VENOM 962R690
The top trim of the 962 gets 690 hp and 691 Nm. Only the CLK-GTR has more torque, while the car was stripped down to be as nearly as light as the F50. Again VENOM choosed to strip the interior down to safe the weight. Hand made lightweight seats and no entertainment will spare about 150 kg.

The R690 can go up to 217 mph and acclerate 0.7 seconds faster than the Diablo or CLK-GTR! Also from 80-120 kmh the VENOM is now half a seconds quicker than the F50, while the car is still the most economic of all.

But even the car is stripped down, the 4 cars build in '01 will be sold for $573.723 and makes the car the most expensive after the CLK-GTR.

'02 IAA Frankfurt Auto Show
VENOM One-Series
In 2002 VENOM used the base of the Nolden Venom I and rebadged it as VENOM One 628. The car has a different look and got now a double front-lip to produce more drag.

Together with a new 6.2L engine, the result looked stunning. The One 628S has gained over 200 hp, while being 250 kg heavier. The car is now able to be 6 mph faster and half a second quicker from 0-60 mph. Also VENOM was able to make the car even more economic. Even a Lambroghini Murcielago needs the same time to 60 mph, but has a higher topspeed and acclerates better from 50-75 mph, but needs the double amount of fuel.

Also the Koenigsegg CC8S is seen as a competitor, except for the top speed. The CC8S is much lighter and has more power, but is only .3 seconds quicker from 0-60 mph. But even VENOM will build just 67 One 628S, the VENOM is the cheapest.

VENOM One 628P
In the same year, VENOM also presented the 33-times build 628P. With 676 hp the 628P has more power than it´s compeitors, but gaines another 100 kg. This time, the VENOM can go up to 204 mph and is .1 seconds fast at the 0-60 mph sprint.

Meanwhile VW prestented the Bugatti Veyron 18.4 concept car with a W18 engine. This heavy all-wheel-drive car is no real competitor for the VENOM, as it won´t be build in this spec and it´s only advantage is the top speed of 211 mph.

’05 VENOM One 628R
While Bugatti finally build their Veyron 16.4, VENOM revised it´s engine to produce 793 hp. Even the luxury interior and SatNav won´t push the weight more than expected, to be just about 60 kg heavier.

But now the car can go 225 mph, only the Koenigsegg and the Bugatti are still faster. From 0-60 mph the 628R is now faster than the swedish supercar, but .3 seconds slower than the Bugatti. But VENOM wasn´t able to make the car again as economic as before and is just the best by a bit.

The 5 cars build will be sold for $540.000, what makes the car the second expensive right behind the Veyron.

’08 VENOM One 628SS
Nolden Automobil GmbH set a new goal for VENOM and released every penny they need to build this car. The goal was simple: ‘Beat the Bugatti’.

VENOM stripped the One 628SS down by over 150 kg and used a twin turbo to produce exactly 1000 hp. It was a bit less than in the Bugatti, but VENOM won´t use a 4-wheel-drive to save weight and build a big engine in the car. Also the single clutch sequential 6 drive gearbox from the R was used and slightly tuned.

The One 628SS was now able to be 1 mph faster, as same as quick from 0-60 and even .2 seconds quicker from 50-75. Also the economy was better than in the Veyron, while this only once build car is even cheaper. But if you have those $1.500.000, don´t think about to spend it. The car was already sold to an american rock star.

And as the goal was set, the VENOM is even quicker at the 1/4 mile by nearly 1 second and can stop from 60 mph in four meters less because of the lack of weight. So let´s say: Mission accomplished.

VENOM GTA 508-Series
In 2009 Venom presented the new GTA Series. GTB-GTE will follow, while the GTA will be the top dog of the Venom cars.

The design is now all in-house, while Venom aquired designers from Pininfarina to work only for Venom. The 508S is the starter trim and will be just a bit cheaper, than a Ferrari 458 Italia or McLaren MP4-12C, while only 38 cars will build till the end of 2011.

This trim has a little less power than it´s competitors, but is also the lightest and fastest. Even at accleration, only the McLaren is faster by .1 seconds, while the Venom is more economic.

The GTA 508P will be sold 18 times for $270.000 and has the same power as a 458 Italia, but more torque and still less weight. It´s even faster than the 508S and can acclerate .1 seconds faster from 0-60 mph than the MP4-12C. Only from 50-75 mph it´s still a bit slower than the Ferrari, while the economy is now only better than the italian can show.

For the GTA 508R trim, Venom used hand made interior and set everything on luxury, while using the best engine. Only the MP4-12C has a bit more torque, but this time the Venom will nearly become the heaviest of all. All 4 508R build are already sold for $400.000, while the car can go nearly 400 kmh and is .5 seconds faster from 0-60 mph and .2 seconds from 50-75 mph than it´s competitors. Even the economy is about the same as on the McLaren and better than in the 508P.

Nice Car Designs!

As a buggati Beater, I imagine this company will do really well. I Think Pagani might become an issue in the future though.

Thanks.

Well, that was the last ‘real’ Bugatti. The EB110 was build after the Hispano-Suiza era by an entrepreneur and the Veyron was build by VW. I won´t count them as a Bugatti.

But yes, i try to make the car performing like other top notch sports cars from the respective era. Ferrari will always be a good competitor, but also De Tomaso, Lambo, modern McLaren, etc. will be chosen.

And i´ve added the only once produced 533 Cabriolet to the line up.

That all looks very nice and well thought of - congrats on a job well done! I would certainly be considering those models if I were buying a car

One question though: Where did you get the “Ferrari Dino 246 GT” -style body, and the “Jaguar XK 120” -style body? Those are very nice too…

Thanks.

I think, both models are already in the game, if yours is up to date. Otherwise both can also be found in the 3D artists section of the forum. 60’s Roadster / 60’s Supercar

Nice detailing on the front!

What pack is the body of the '66 venom from? I can’t find it anywhere. Nobody ever mentions where it’s from when they use it.

It´s the '60s Supercar linked two posts above yours
And this model is also included ingame without any mods. Or do you mean because of the second side window? It´s a vent.

Nice! I like how you use realistic engines with reasonable power outputs - that makes the cars feel more “real” and I expect, with lower specific outputs, the engines are probably very torquey and satisfying to drive.

The designs are also cool, not too over the top but still with an edge and personality. Thumbs up!

Thanks.

Yes, i tried to look, what was ‘ordinary’ at the decades to make the cars comparable. You can build cheaper, more powerful, lighter and more economic cars all the time. But that makes no fun. Only my total costs are way below the limit i´ll set. Even at the 956S i can´t push the costs over 27k without having a car, that´s better than i wanted. So i´ll need to set a price by exclusivity.

The both GTs are ready. Both don´t get a big design upgrade. Just some details changed, as i concentrated on the performance of the cars.

The 956-Series is complete.

I really like your cars! I am planning on making a company like yours. I have one already but it is more luxury sedans than supercars. This is kind of a random question, but how do you get pictures in without having to use the attachment uploader?

Thanks.

I use an image uploader and direct link the pictures with the ‘img’ tag. You can find and use many of those uploaders in the internet like imageshack.us or abload.de
You can also upload pictures to your own webspace and link them via the ‘img’ tag to make them visible.
