VTEC YO!

They said you like VTEC, so we put VTEC in yo VTEC so you can VTEC while you VTEC.

It’s a hoot to drive in BeamNG. Actually kinda sorta somewhat usable with a CVT! LOL!

There’s a huge problem with the torque curve: a huge spike upwards after a gentle decline. That’s because the VVL activation point is too far up the rev range.

Speaking of which, the redline is too close to the power peak, and should be extended further (by about 300-500 rpm), with lighter, stronger forged internals being fitted to facilitate this.

Is this +15 everywhere? Anyway, adding on to what Abg said, I highly suspect you’re leaving quite a bit of power on the table due to unnecessarily low compression (9.6:1 is pretty low in a modern, N/A + DOHC + MPI engine). Also, I suspect the pistons to be heavier than needed - they have a very high torque limit, with a pretty low rev limit - aside from limiting your revs, it also raises the engine weight and lowers throttle response.
