All versions of Wagner 1300 was sold from 1955 to 1959.
In 1956 Wagner Motors built the 1500 RS, a sports car to seek victory in the category up to 1500 cc, and entrusted it to its new official team.

The day of decision
**
1963 was an important year in the history of Wagner Motorwerke because it was undecided whether to build a totally new car model or to continue updating the existing chassis and mechanics.
Eventually a compromise will be reached which envisages updating the existing chassis but updating the mechanics by producing a new 2000cc 6-cylinder boxer engine.
In 1965 the Wagner 2000 was presented.

WAGNER 2000 RS THE STATE OF ART FOR TWO LITRES SPORT CAR
**
Since making its racing debut, the 2000 RS has won numerous hill climbs. In any case intended above all for the endurance races of the World Sport Prototype Championship, it performed well in competitions of this type, in particular at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where it conquered 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th place in the 1966 edition behind the Ford GT40, with a much larger engine capacity.

In 1970 the Wagner 2400 was presented, a machine with a completely new design and equipped with a six-cylinder boxer engine of 2400 cc.
This model in the basic version had the first high quality plastic inserts used by Wagner in one of its cars.
