so say science created a one way only time machine that goes 1000 years into the future, but they need a car to attach it to, so with science’s infinite budget they ask you for a suggestion, for me i would have to say 1986 chevy silverado with a first gen cummins engine swap, and also replace the bed with a fuel tank and keep it full of diesel, not the most economical but at least you’d be able to go for quite a while since there is nothing to confirm that fossil fuels will still exist in 1000 years.
EDIT: wait, i change my mind, i found something better
because the fuel economy might be absolute crap, but at least i’d have a place to live plus being able to go virtually anywhere
I’m sure some people might be shocked by this given how much I love ancient muscle cars, but…
Tesla Model S (w/AWD). On to the future!
guess you’d be set (along with a big price on your head) if the world in 1000 years is a wasteland
This will be weird but a 1930 ford model A.

They can and were run on moonshine during the depression and due to their older design are far more forgiving of variations in fuel quality and environmental actions and still had the ability to be hand cranked to start. So long as there is alcohol and electricity these old cars will still run.
LaFerrari. It can get to 88MPH in a very short distance, and with all the batteries already in it you won’t need a flux capacitor.

I am the Road Warrior!
fiat multipla.
^^ I had one of them for a while.
Ferrari would probably take it off you and blacklist you from owning a Ferrari again if they found out you were going to convert it into a time machine.
Get a Porsche 918 instead. They’ll even let you set official lap times.
Gosh, I love the Mercedes W123.
