Out of those two, the Acer, the GT640m is at least twice as fast, if not more, than the AMD 4330, plus the i5 CPU in the Acer is going to be a lot better too. I’d find the low resolution of the Acer screen annoying personally, but that’s up to you (it’s also quite hard to find laptops with good high res screens, we went for a Dell Inspiron 17R with a 1920 x 1080 screen and and a GT650M, it’s a great gaming laptop and was <$1000, but it’s big and heavy and has crap battery life)
Inno why people are having troubles. I run automation on Medium graphics and medium aspiration on my 4 year old Intel i3 laptop. I have no dedicated video card and only 4 GB of Ram
There are plenty of laptops around that give good gaming performance. If you look in the minimum requirements thread I posted specs of my laptop, which was a budget machine in it’s day, which was years ago. It manages fine with the game, you just gotta be prepared to lower your settings and expectations a little at the lower end. As deanwells mentions, some of the integrated graphics now are managing to do pretty well, a far cry from the venerable Intel GMA 950.
