Will my computer run Automation?

Here are my specs:

Processor: Intel Core i3
Graphics Card: Intel HD 5500
RAM: 6GB
HDD: 1TB
Dedicated Video RAM: 128MB

you’re there on the processor but i can’t speak for the GPU

Yeah. Nobody online seems to know what version of Shader my card’s got. That’s why I’m asking here. To see if anybody else has that card.

I’d suggest trying the demo and seeing how you go. My suspicion is that it’ll run, but fairly poorly

I have an i3, 4 GB of RAM, and the basic Intel HD Graphics, game runs decent. I’m not saying it’s fast, but it’s usable. Usually have a 3-4 minute loading time at the beginning of the game, and loading bodies and engines is slow as balls, but after those initial bottlenecks the game is reasonably fine. The nice thing about Automation is that it doesn’t need to run smoothly to be playable, due to the type of game it is and how they have built the gameplay.

So to answer your question, yes, you should be able to play it.

Not really enough information. Which processor is it…you said i3, but there are a lot of different i3’s out there. My guess is, with the HD5500, you’re probably on at least a 3rd gen and possibly a 4th gen i3? I have a 2nd generation i5 (i5-2450) and 6GB of ram with an HD3000 integrated graphics chip (Lenovo laptop) and the game runs alright on mine. The game starts a bit slow, and since the last big update the tracks load even slower, but it isn’t anything which would make it unplayable. Some basic specs on my laptop are below:

Apart from the graphics card it seems a more powerful PC than mine…

Never mind this thread. The demo worked great! I’m downloading the game on Steam right now.

yes. yes you will run it pretty nicely

just FYI. i have the game running on 2 laptops.

and one of them is an old 2008 Lenovo 3000 laptop with specs:

  • Intel Core2Duo T8100 @2.1Ghz
  • 3 GB RAM
  • Graphics: intel GMA 3100 A.K.A Intel X965.

this is as low of a graphic unit as you can get. even an old nvidia GT 7800 is faster than this

also this is a laptop with a 16:10 display
