Will twincharging be available in the base game?

That is, super and turbocharging simultaneously to boost torque throughout the rev range.

The FAQ has all the info about that I can give you for now.

So it’s undecided? I see.

I just want twinscrolls and superchargers :stuck_out_tongue:

What about a free choice of how many turbo’s you want. Like the veyron engine has 4 i believe. I know you can’t do stuff like 5 turbo’s on a V8 but 3 turbo’s on a i6 engine should be doable. Maybe. I hope.

Only I6 that has 3 turbos is the BMW 3l DIESEL. And Diesel engines will not be in the game. (maybe as later DLC)

For now, I’d be happy with getting blowers in the game. Though of course, I think twincharging would be AWESOME down the road (If it’s possible). Make it fragile, crazy expensive to develop and expensive to maintain. Then have it be just the BEST THING EVER for power delivery.

Huh? Volvo does this on mass-production cars…

Just imagine the R&D money and all those quality points they added to their models

So did Nissan on the old Super March, but the fact of the matter is, twin-charging is a nightmare to get set-up, which is why it’s fairly uncommon. It also adds numerous points of failure (If the turbo, supercharger, or separation vane on a parallel system go, it can bugger things up pretty bad). It’s awesome, and can make buttloads of power, but there’s a reason it’s the least common aspiration set-up.
