Wizard Automotive is a small car company based out of Nuremburg, Germany, started in 1970 by F1 Engineer Roots Grun as a way of making small, affordable, and sporty cars for the general public that would blow the pants off much more expensive and exotic offerings. The company values performance, value and safety above all else, occupying a very unusual niche in that sometimes he’ll tune other companies vehicles (with their consent) and sell them alongside his companies offerings.
Well, come on then. Cut the foreplay and show us what you got!
Well, Vos, it’s only been like an hour or so since he posted…give him some time.
The first completely new model from WA, the Wankel is named in honour of Felix Wankel, an engineer who pioneered and refined the rotary engine to the point of being a viable alternative. This model was named in the spirit of his dedication, a lightweight body that can pack a variety of differing engines for a total spectrum in performance.
The first version of the Wankel is the 1200, a small, cheap, and sporty RWD coupe made for sprightly handling and decent gas mileage.
WA126P Engine “Redtop”
The WA126 is also the first fully-fledged engine from WA, a small oversquare V6 displacing 1200cc’s of displacement, while not an outright powerhouse, the compact v6 allows for smooth driving and a pleasant burble from the unique exhaust outlets above the rear bumpers.
