Born from a thought and a dream, the team at DuceDesigns set out with their new project. Right smack in the middle of the SUV craze, what’s better than to add another one into the bunch. Not just any plain jane everybody has one SUV, DDs wanted something flashy, with flair, and above all else, fast as shit. So that’s what they set out to design. What they came up with was truly striking for the time. A behemoth of a vehicle that was undoubtedly very flashy looking, sporty, luxurious, and above all else…fast as shit. 4.4T-V8 awd fast. They called it the ST-1, just in time for the 2003 auto show.
The ST-1 was met with mixed reviews. Some loved it, some hated it. Some felt the design was too much, while others felt that it was lacking in some areas. The one thing no one could refute was its stellar performance. This was enough to cause internal turmoil at Wells. The company could not justify investing so much money into a vehicle that most likely would not succeed.
Meanwhile, the team over at Allure had a different idea. Take the ST-1, revise the front to something less striking and more pedestrian looking. Soften the suspension a bit and raise the height in an effort to make it more comfortable. And instead of a fire breathing 4.4T-V8 under the hood, they went with a sophisticated 32V V-8 pumping out 392hp. The result was the 2004 Allure Q5.

The Q5 was met with a warm welcome from the public. You would think that everything was all good. Allure, a company that produced vehicles that focused on luxury mainly, wanted to compete in the sport suv segment. Rather than doing their own R&D, Allure reached out to DDs.
What were the talks about?..
You guessed it, for some reason Allure wanted the ST-1, in some shape form or fashion.
For two weeks, the talks went back and forth, sometimes with multiple calls a day. In the end, a decision was made. Allure would introduce a new Q5 with with ST-1 tuning, minus the 4.4T…
And call it the Q5-s

About
The Sabre has been designed from the ground up as a budget performance vehicle that is fast, fun, and safe. Using materials such as aluminum and reinforced steel, this cars performance is engineered success. The powertrain utilizes a 3.2L 6 cylinder engine, with a performance optimized turbocharger providing steady power. Weight distribution was extremely important to us, the center of gravity of this car is lowered thanks to the boxer engine design. Most of the weight has also been shifted to create nearly 50/50 weight distribution. The car comes standard with sports package tires, these allow the car to corner at high speed, also a reduced stopping distance of 125ft! MSRP: 29,700$

2004 Mutsuraboshi Revolution R
For 2004, Mutsuraboshi released the Revolution R, a highly modified version of their family crossover wagon, the Trailander. Incorporating many technologies found in the company’s rally cars, it is equipped with the well-renowned EK20 engine turbocharged flat-4 with variable valve lift with timing (VVL-T).
These modifications allow the engine to produce 281 hp @ 7100 RPM (285 PS; 210 kW) and 238 lb-ft of torque. Still using a 5-speed manual gearbox from previous homologation specials, the car moves to 62 mph in 5.9 seconds and reaches the quarter mile in 14.1 seconds. The car is capable of hitting a top speed of 164 mph (264 km/h).
Other additions to this model include an upgraded suspension (resulting in a lower ride height), 18-inch wheels with 225/45R Bridgerock Potential tires, and four-piston brakes in the front and two in the rear, resulting in a stopping distance of just 125 ft.
Interior changes include special cloth bucket seats, a thicker bolster steering wheel, and a steel shift knob (I just realized I forgot the handbrake lol). Mutsuraboshi is expected to only produce just 812 units so hurry!
8.18 lateral g’s? Grips so hard you could black out.

2004 Mara Kavaler U 4.6 AMM
Based on the (relative) success of the souped up regular Kavaler sedan, Mara’s performance arm AMM decided to offer the facelifted Kavaler wagon (Universal) as AMM variant as well.
Colour choices were either the somewhat garish trademark AMM yellow, or a more inconspicuous black. Little did this to stop the AMM Kavaler gaining notoriety over the next decade or so…
The ad do kinda say 4 seats though

Journeyman returns for 2004 with a new look and new tricks up the sleeve. For those that want a reliably smooth and economical ride, the 2.1S trim will be more than excellent. For the stuntmen that desire a bold experience unmatched by anything short of a supercar, the track-ready TourSpec will happily deliver an unparalleled thrill. But what about the middle ground?
Enter the 3.2GS, available with a motorsport-derived 6-speed manual and our new Trac-Plus dynamically engaging all-wheel drive to make sure each grippy sport tyre gets just as much of the 3.2 litre inline-5’s 280 horsepower as necessary. Even in this guise, Journeyman retains a practical, refined exterior, with a matching interior and optional satellite navigation information centre*, making it suited to spirited drives into the unknown just as much as long and relaxed cruises down the motorway.
Your neighbours will certainly know you have a Ventus, but they won’t know just how special it is until you open the throttle wide and hit 60 miles per hour in five seconds.
You sure will, though.
