WOSSOM: Join Anytime! (Time Trial Competition – Car Submissions OPEN until the 29th)

The lil cute car with a big bite. 1946 CBC Carrier MK1 R

The light car made even lighter with taking out trim and comfort items. And also a new heart! Some aero enhancing mods has also been made to ensure it’s top form performance, such as wheel arch cover, cover over the passenger side, and a small windshield for the driver.

Came across these old newspapers ads in my grandad’s attic :eyes:

He had an english copy too!

P.S.: Sorry for the ads as pictures but i really coudn’t get the font and the formatting to work in a simple post. If anyone has suggestions on how to make that work my DMs are open.
P.P.S.: I really hope i’m still in time for submission.

Wow! The deadline crept up on me too… I’ve just submitted using the web form, hopefully not too late.

1946 A.G. Renaissance v8

Initially released to the European market, A.G. debuted their new full-size premium sedan, the Renaissance v8 in 1946. Powered by their new v8 engine (the last design being 15 years old at this point in time), this ‘modern’ design was renowned for its smoothness and responsiveness. Compounding this was the focus on quality and luxury for the rest of the vehicle, leading to a car that was more than the sum of its parts.

I had to submit sending the car in @rafles’s DM since the form rejects the file. i don’t know if it’s a bug or something, or worse if it’s rejected due to being late. :worried:

Except for Timo’s car, which isn’t downloading for some reason, I’ve received all the others. I’m currently making some final adjustments to the spreadsheet, focusing on body type bonuses and penalties for each demographic. Once I have the numbers, the Trio will make the post and I’ll update the site.

Too much in the way, not enough time. DCMW will regrettably be sitting out this round.

Sad to hear. You can still make more competition versions of the Jawad.

The Trio is really getting on my nerves.

Guess what? They didn’t. Sorry for the delay guys.

Hm… would the reputation hit from sitting it out be greater or less than making an uncompetitive entry? Decisions, decisions…

The Updated sales predictions and quality Bonus are available at the site. Let me know if something is off. These numbers are quite complex. The trio post may take a while. Just for clarification, the cars sent on this phase are eligible to race in any competition for now on. This means that the cars made in the first phase can participate too. If you participated on both phases you can make two cars for each competition, but for each entry, you risk a part of your reputation.

There is a new sales leader

Oh, and here’s the updated version of the spreadsheet. I know it’s still a bit of a mess, but I haven’t had the time to organize it yet.

Is collaboration allowed? If so, would anyone like to take pity on a couple of laid-off DCMW engineers spotted under a bridge, holding a sign, “will engineer for food”?

I’ll help if we can share the sales numbers

The collaboration - assuming it’d be ok by the host at all - would be DCMW engineers tuning your race car. Sales would be irrelevant.

also, seems like the reference for CBC Carrier T/A is the wrong one

this is what it should look like

You need to keep the parts described on the site.

Sorry. Ill fix it

I believe I’ve fixed it. However, it looks like the base car picture isn’t working for any car. I’ll start working on that once I’m done with the Trio.

You can check each car’s sales by clicking on the ‘Factory Cars’ tab and then selecting ‘Read More.’ I’ll also add this information to the Factory Cars list.
