1989 Citroën CX GTi Turbo SWB Fastback
1992 Hummer H1
Hummer and Citroën added to the wall.
if a quattro and a lancia can get to subzero then what would Henry think of a theoretical production model Mitsubishi Starion 4WD?
Mazda and Mitsu added…I am maybe not overly enthusiastic about adding a sort of prototype like I think the Starion is if I remember right, but since I didn’t state anywhere that it was banned I let it pass.
@BG004130 I would go for the wagon. Even though quasi off readers are frowned upon in cool wall scoring, the coupe looks too depressed in my opinion.
righty, two more
1995-1997 Mitsubishi Mirage Asti RX
1987-1991 Mitsubishi Debonair Royal V300 Royal AMG (Yes, that AMG)
Could we please see where Henry would place the Mk 1 Ford Transit and the Lotus Elite?
1997 Wells Activ $3500 obo
Pro’s…Have all paperwork and receipts, new tires, brakes, radiator, always detailed, new intake manifold gasket(done under recall}
Cons…130,xxx miles, rear left passenger window wont go down(I have new motor), clearcoat is starting to peel on roof
If I get problems fixed before sale, price will go up.
I remember my friends laughed at me when I first bought this thing, I was the laughing stock until it became evident that my car was the one always rescuing everyone else.
This is a very capable, dependable and solid vehicle. HMU if interested.
*this one has the removable “fun bars” for extra storage
What are your service costs like?
What kind of power are you making?
Is $940-ish too much?
Is 280 hp enough?
Just curious
In the last used-car challenge, the average service costs were around $500-$1000, so $940 would be on the high end (but not absurd). The cars in this challenge differ in that they’re more expensive (higher service costs), but also slightly older (lower service costs) than the last challenge’s.
As for power, in the last challenge 300hp was the upper limit for the fastest cars. But of course, how much your car needs depends a lot on other factors (how heavy is it, what drivetrain, what’s the car’s purpose, etc).
The wedge shaped Elite or the earlier one from the 60s?
Apologies for the lack of specificity; the Type 75/Type 83 wedge shaped one, please.

Are interiors required/being scored?
No
Does this mean that RHD cars are allowed? Does Henry have any objections against RHD?
Just go ahead. I mean, I don’t even rate interiors so I don’t care much.
