Since 1946 Znopresk is a sinonimous for cheap, confortable and safe cars. But the ZAP! is trying all the best to wash away that boring aurea that surrounds the brand.

The 1.4 liter sport version was a good hit on the market, but Znopresk wants to create something more juicy: a special ZAP! trophy open to private tuning company and other car makers. Here any brand can prepare their own developed tuning kit for the ZAP! and race against the others.

As stated above, Znopresk will provide the Car Model (Znopresk ZAP 1988) and the Engine Family (CL4.3-1410), along with the base trim 1.0EL version (and engine variant) and the 1.4 SPORT trim (and engine variant) only for your reference. Check attachment in OP.
You are free to create your car trim and engine version, following the restrictions shown.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Creating a blank engine variant, will set the default dispacement beyond the real max capacity of the engine family. You should click the max/bore sliders in the variant tab in order to correct the issue. If you don’t do it you’ll submit a “faulty” engine that will disqualify your entry.
The car have a .LUA edit mod for vents, chrome stripes and headlight. Please download the vents from here (viewtopic.php?f=38&t=5964)

They will be done with the BROBOT system, so take care about engine reliability. It’s for your own good!
Qualification on 2 flying lap. Top 20 entry will race a first 20
lap stint with a second 20
lap stint with reversed starting grid (based on arrive at the end of the first race).
They will be 5 events, the tracks will be selected randomly according to the italian lottery extraction “Lotto” of Tuesday 7th April 2015, on the national wheel and according to the following table.
*In case of race on Green Hell, the number of laps will be reduced to 5.

At the end of each stint (2 for each race) point will be given to the car placed into the top 10 position, according to this table:

ok so it just me or the thing is bugged? everything is locked for me, can’t change anything, and i have installed the modded vents

It might not be bugged, having the platform and engine families locked is the whole point of the championship. You have to work around those limitations, because this is spec racing, so the competition will be close.

Exactly. The Zap can’t be changed in chassis options, bodywork and fixtures. You can modify the trim (gearbox, tyres, brakes, aero, interior and suspension).
The engine base can’t be changed (max bore/stroke, head valve, cylinder numbers and configuration) but you can chage, bottom end, top end tune, fuel delivery system and exhaust.

That’s the point of the whole Trophy.

On the rules is stated that the engine must be Naturally Aspirated.
You can do the engine you want, but you MUST use the engine CL4.3-1410 family. Do your own variant :wink:
