AL Autos Special Release Event

New%20AL%20Logo%20PNG%20v4

Hello one and all! Welcome to a special AL Autos event where we get to release a car that has been being developed for quite some time now. Our sports car division has been burning the midnight oil trying to develop a car that fulfilled the following conditions: A relatively cheap, fun to drive, mid-engine, rear wheel drive sports car that looked apart from anything else in our lineup. Our previous attempt at doing this, the Erucae, was a decent success, however we feel as if we’ve grown in our understanding of how to build a super fun motor vehicle… also we feel as if there is massive room to improve. We’ve gained the courage to try something different and we were dedicated to make it the best. After all this time, we feel as if our work is ready to be released. Let us not waste any more time shall we? Let’s raise the curtain!

AL Autos is proud to present…

The AL Autos Carpe! It’s time to shake things up.

RGS trim shown in AL Orange

The Carpe is the culmination of all our hard work to build something that looks apart from the rest of our lineup and had the performance to back up the looks. This being our first serious rear wheel drive mid-engine sports car, a lot of focus was put into how the Carpe would handle corners. To kick things off, the Carpe has a set of specially formulated AL Road Sport Tires made for the Carpe to allow it to stick to the road. The Active AL Road Sport Suspension setups have also been tuned in such a way that it allows for incredible response and control while not compromising to much comfort. To aid in comfort, the Carpe also comes with our pothole detection technology, detecting potholes and adjusting the suspension to protect the occupants from discomfort and the tires from being misaligned. As of this release, there are currently 3 powertrains that buyers will be able to choose from. There is the 1.7 L Turbocharged I4 (ALA17DOC16TS4-MS) found on the RGS trim producing 238 BHP and 175 lb-ft torque with a MPG rating of 40.5 MPG, the 2.0 L Turbocharged I4 (ALA20DOC16TS4-MS) found on the RGS2 trim producing 287 BHP and 211 lb-ft torque with a MPG rating of 39 MPG, and the 2.5 L Turbocharged I5 (ALA25DOC20TS5-MS) found on the RGS3 producing 338.1 BHP and 258 lb-ft torque with an MPG rating of 36 MPG! These engines can either be mated to a 6 speed manual transmission or a 7 speed Dual Clutch Transmission. There may or may not be an even faster version in the future but we will save that for another time  . This makes the Carpe the most fuel-efficient vehicle in our lineup. This is not only due to the incredible work done on the engines, but also due to lightweight construction: lightened Aluminum body panels and a specially made Carbon Fiber Chassis.

RGS2 trim shown in AL Bright Green

While the Carpe is meant to be a lightened mid-engine sports car, we didn’t compromise on the interior. Instead, we made an interior which didn’t add to much weight to the car, yet still provides the spoils of most modern cars nowadays as well as surprising support and comfort for what the car is meant to be. No matter the trim level, the Carpe comes with specialized ALA Road Sport Bucket seats which hug the driver providing the comfort and support we mentioned earlier. The Carpe also comes with AL Autos’ newly improved ALAutos-Infotaimnet system loaded onto a 10” infotainment screen. To add onto this, the Carpe also comes with a fully digital gauge cluster which can display oil pressure, fuel levels, range, and other statistics about the car as well as a separate section for navigation and other notifications. The Carpe also comes with a newly developed system called ALADriveProfile. This system allows for the customization of how the car drives. Aspects of the car adjusted by this system include steering sensitivity, ride height, acceleration and brake pedal sensitivity, traction control sensitivity, and the ability to enable or disable launch control. Included in the ALADriveProfile are 3 presets made by our performance division: Road Comfort (RC), Dynamic Sport (DS), and Race Mode (RM). Where things get interesting is that the driver can also create up to 3 more customized profiles to allow for a more personalized driving experience. We here at AL Autos worked hard to make the Carpe a fun to drive lightweight sports car.

A Word on the Styling
One of the main highlights of the Carpe was that it looks apart from the rest the cars in our lineup. The shaping of the front end was one of the biggest priorities with the Carpe. We wanted to design something that was aggressive yet had some new design elements which we experimented with. The headlights, for example, are not the usual concave triangular shape that you see on most AL Autos models. We used a more rounded out triangle this time for the DRL outline of the headlamps. For the central part of the headlamps, we wanted to go for a more futuristic look without utilizing too much of the old triangle headlamps. What we came up with is a unique LED HID design utilizing newly shaped fixtures to create what we call the parallelogram mosaic. The grilles where then shaped accordingly using our familiar concave triangular vent which adds some curves to the central grille structure which features new grille slits angled perfectly to complement the front-end elements as well as to make the car look aggressive. The lip grille is meant to continue the shape of the central grille to add more angles to the front end. Included in this lip grille fixture are elongated hexagonal grille slits and uniquely shaped fog lamps.

The side of the Carpe was designed to be sleek yet still interesting to look at. The side features the familiar concave triangle shaped vent for mid-engine cooling, sleek flush door handles, and 18” black/body color sporty rims.

The rear end of the Carpe was meant to compliment the front with similar design elements used in the taillights. Not much else to say besides the rear end was meant to combine style with efficient cooling for the engine.
Overall, from our standards, the Carpe is a shinning new light into how we design our cars. Design elements from the Carpe are sure to influence the designs of later AL Autos vehicles!

Prices for the Carpe are as follows (Prices include a 20% Markup):

That’s all for the presentation! Thank you for joining us in this special event! Feel free to look around the car if you so desire. More pictures bellow. The spec sheet is also bellow if you would like a more in-depth look into what makes the Carpe go! If there are any automotive journalists or curious persons who would like to test drive the Carpe, don’t be afraid to ask! Again, thank you for joining us here at this special event! Have a lovely rest of your day!

No question, this is a striking small sports coupe with power and agility to match. But the color-coded wheel accents should be optional, not standard - at least give customers the choice of contrasting accents or single-color wheels instead if they want them.

AL Autos Special Release Event

Hello one and all! Welcome to another special AL Autos event where we get to release a car that we have been putting a lot of man hours into making. Our sports car division has been yet again burning the midnight oil developing our new supercar. Our previous attempts at making supercars have not really been up to our standards. There always seemed to be something missing. Well thanks to our latest determination, we had the ability to see if we can fulfill what seemed to be missing and hopefully allow this new model to take its place as our new supercar! Let us not waste any more time shall we? Let us kickstart this presentation!

AL Autos is proud to present…

The AL Autos Velox! Passionate for Performance.

RGR rim shown in AL Orange Exposed Carbon

The Velox has been in development for quite some time now as we’ve had to cross some new boundaries that we have been apprehensive about crossing before this project came up. During the development of the Carpe, our development team was inspired to take it to the next level and finally work on bringing out a serious AL Autos supercar that would meet (and maybe even exceed) the standards we have today. Whether we’ve accomplished that I will leave all up to you all here today at this presentation. To start things off, our engineering team most definitely went to town with the mechanical aspects of this car. The Velox has specially formulated AL-Specialized Road Sport Tires to allow the Velox to hug those corners. Our signature Active AL Road Sport Suspension setup have been tweaked to make the setup unique to the Velox. These tweaks allow for the Velox to have incredible turn in response and control while not compromising comfort. In fact, to aid in comfort, the Velox has a unique double spring setup where a smaller spring resides on top of the larger spring to aid in dissipating the harshness of the ride. Of course, we also had to add our pothole detection technology which detects potholes and adjusts/prepares the suspension to protect occupants from discomfort and the tires from being misaligned. The Velox has a choice of two powertrains. The RGR trim has a special AL Autos 5.0 L Twin Turbo 90 Degree V8 producing 711.6 BHP and 521.2 lb-ft of torque with an MPG rating of 29.7 MPG. This special V8 from AL Autos is also capable of revving up to 10,000 RPM thanks to specially developed cranks, conrods, and pistons. The RGR-DTD trim from our Draconis Tuning Division also has a special DTD 5.8 L Twin Turbo V12 producing 846.1 BHP and 601.9 lb-ft torque with an MPG rating of 25.2 MPG. DTD also improved upon our specially developed pistons, conrods, and cranks allowing this version to reach up to 10,500 RPM. All these fun performance bits and figures allow for the Velox RGR to clock a time on the Airfield Test Track of 1:10.8 and for the Velox RGR-DTD to clock a time on the Airfield Test Track of 1:09.5 making these two cars the fastest vehicles in our current lineup! The Velox is one of our most engineering intensive vehicles in our lineup thanks to the many pieces of engineering that we integrated into the vehicle.

RGR-DTD trim shown in AL Yellow Sunshine

Even though the Velox is our high-performance super car, we didn’t want to make the experience of driving it uncomfortable and, therefore, a little less enjoyable. The results of this goal was an interior which wasn’t heavy and bulky yet still has the spoils of most modern cars nowadays as well as comfort and support. Starting with where the driver and passengers sit, we added Specialized ALA or DTD Multi Point Adjustable Road Sport Bucket Seats unique to the Velox which don’t weigh to much, however, they still provide the astounding comfort and support mentioned earlier. The Velox also comes with our newly improved ALAutos-Infotainment System loaded onto a 15” Infotainment screen. The Velox also comes with a unique fully digital gauge cluster which displays an image of the car as well as oil pressure, fuel levels, approximate range, and other statistics about the car as well as a separate section for navigation. The image of the car is also adaptive as it will show what is going on with the exterior such as angle of the active wing, if a part of the car is open (doors, boot, engine cover), and other fun little details. The Velox also comes with our newly developed system called ALADriveProfile. This system allows for the customization of how the car drives. Aspects of the car adjusted by this system include steering sensitivity, ride height, acceleration and brake pedal sensitivity, traction control sensitivity, launch control capability, and, a new addition to this system, the ability to adjust the active aero bias towards speed, cornering, or balanced (default). Included in the ALADriveProfile are 4 presets made by our performance division: Road Comfort (RC), Dynamic Sport (DS), Race Mode (RM), and, another new addition to this system, All Speed Mode (ASM) where the car will adjust the dynamics of the car to the point where it can reach its top speed as quick as possible. Where things get interesting is that the driver can also create up to 4 more customized profiles to allow for a more personalized driving experience. We here at AL Autos wanted to make the Velox a fun to drive, emotion stirring super car.

RGR-DTD shown in AL Yellow Sunshine

A Word on the Styling
We were so inspired by how the Carpe was shaping up to look like when it was in development that we wanted to do something similar with the Velox. The front end got some much-needed attention using similar design queues found on the Carpe. For the headlamps, we used a similar but more aggressive rounded triangle outline for the headlamps. The central part of the headlamps is a variation of the parallelogram mosaic that we used on the Carpe to give the Velox the futuristic aggressive looks we were looking for. The grilles were then shaped accordingly using a familiar concave triangular vent which adds some nice curved lines to the central grille structures which also feature aggressive grille slits to add some character. The lip grille is meant to continue the flow of the central grille to add more angles to the front end. In addition, on the RGR-DTD version, various bits of the Carpe have exposed carbon fiber as an added touch.

The sides of the Velox were also given some attention to make it look unique as compared to the Carpe. The side features black painted 20” sporty rims as well as the concave triangle shaped vent for mid-engine cooling. All the design elements on the side were meant to flow with the natural curves of the Velox’s body.

The rear end of the Velox, like that of the Carpe’s, has some similar design elements as the front end of the Velox as well as a few unique features. There is not much to say here besides the rear end is meant to combine style and efficient cooling for the engine. The Velox’s rear end also features quad exhaust exits for that extra coolness factor. Overall, from our standards, the Velox continues the legacy of our newly found design language.

RGR shown in AL Orange Exposed Carbon

Prices for the Velox are as follows (Prices are Estimations):

RGR: $291,000
RGR-DTD: $327,000

That’s all for the presentation! Thank you for joining us in this special event! Feel free to look around the car if you so desire. More pictures bellow. The spec sheet is also bellow if you would like a more in-depth look into what makes the Velox go! If there are any automotive journalists or curious persons who would like to test drive the Velox, don’t be afraid to ask! Again, thank you for joining us here at this special event! Have a lovely rest of your day!

Your new, edgy and agressive design aesthetic clearly suits the Velox very well indeed, and it clearly has the power, aero and handling to tackle a Senna or SF90 Stradale head-on, regardless of the engine specified.

We’ve always had a ton of fun engineering and designing the Aurum as every model year we make is always a blank canvas and an opportunity to think of something that would set this car apart from the rest of our lineup and, hopefully, distinguish itself from other high end luxury cars on the market. This iteration of the Aurum is possibly the most advanced and stunning luxury vehicle that we’ve made so far. For starters, the suspension system on the Aurum is a bespoke advanced system that we engineered to soak up a lot of the punishment the road can throw at you. For starters we have a stacked twin active spring comfort system as well as semi active dampers to manage the weight of the Aurum and provide a cloud 9 like ride. For extra protection of comfort as well as to protect the suspension and wheels from wear, tear, and misalignment, we included our pothole detection technology as standard on all models. The Aurum comes with a choice of 3 engines all connected to an All Wheel Drive system. There is the 3.5 L Twin Turbocharged V6 (ALA35DOC24TT906-LSAm) found on the RGXLEL trim producing 401.5 BHP, 335.2 lb-ft of torque, and averaging 24.6 MPG. Another choice is the 4.5 L Twin Turbocharged V8 (ALA45DOC32TT908-LSAm) found on the RGXLEL2 trim producing 530.7 BHP, 422.8 lb-ft of Torque, and averaging 23.3 MPG. The top end option for the Aurum, found on the RGXLEL Opulentum trim is a 5.0 L Twin Turbo V12 producing 670 BHP, 536.8 lb-ft torque, and averaging 20.5 MPG. All these engines are mated to either 8 or 9 speed AL-Glide-Tech Transmissions. All these fun mechanical marvels make the Aurum one of the most prestigious vehicles in our lineup.

While the mechanical bits are important to the car, the interior of any high end luxury car must be given special attention to make it so that it is a very special place to be and, more importantly, makes the driver and their passengers feel unwavering comfort and relaxation. The Aurum strives for this with a new bespoke interior. Starting with the seats, we have designed new supportive yet comfortable leather seats we will proudly nickname AL-Magic-Comfort-Ride found on the RGXLEL and RGXLEL2 trims. The RGXLEL Opulentum trim gets an upgrade from these seats and acquires our AL-Crown-Comfort hand made leather seats. Both options provide astounding levels of comfort. In addition to the comfort, all trims get, as standard, multipoint massaging seats for front and rear occupancy seats, dual zone climate control with separate rear passenger climate controls, and, as a new feature in the Aurum, reclining rear seats to make you feel at home.

With regards to tech, the Aurum come with a lot of it. Starting with the ALAutos-Infotaintment, we loaded this system is loaded onto a retina quality 17” infotainment screen in the front. In addition, this newly improved system also provides 2 tablets for the rear passengers. These tablets can stream live television, provide entertaining 2 player games, check the weather, stream music, and even send messages up to the front of the car which will display on the digital dashboard and/or the central infotainment screen. These tablets also come with their own noise canceling headphones for each rear passenger. These features aren’t the only fancy pieces of tech. The Aurum also comes with a brand-new optional feature: a full windshield virtual heads up display (WVHUD). One of the main focuses of this new tech is that we don’t want to obstruct the view of the driver or passengers to provide a safe driving experience knowing that this won’t hamper your view and, in addition will keep you focused. For starters, this system provides a virtually 180 degree view by displaying what is hidden behind the a-pillar using special cameras mounted on the side view mirrors. Next, the WVHUD also links with the navigation system to highlight the route and display virtual arrows that the driver can follow to get to their destination. The WVHUD also is integrated into the safety system which also has new features. The newest feature is eye tracking technology which senses if the driver is not keeping their eyes on the road. This system will vibrate the steering wheel, display a warning on the WVHUD. The WVHUD will also highlight, in a noticeable red outline, vehicles you might collide into as well as pedestrians and warn you to brake. During parking, the WVHUD shines brightly with an optional feature that the driver can activate, VRParking. This system essentially gives the driver a clear view of the car making it so that you can see through the body of the car. This ensures that the driver will not hit anything during parking. This system can only be activated when under 5 MPH and is displayed through specialized lenses that the driver can put on. As an alternative, the driver can view this system on the central control screen as a 360 degree camera view.

The final feature, moving away from the WVHUD, is our driver medical alert system, ALMedAlert. This system includes a heart rate sensor on the steering wheel of the driver as well as many other sensors integrated into the driver’s seat. In the event that this system detects irregularities or medical emergencies with the driver, the ALMedAlert system will either prompt the driver to see if they’re ok or, in the case of a major medical emergency, will turn on an autopilot system that will safely pull the vehicle over to the shoulder or side of the road and automatically call emergency services.

The AL Autos Aurum with its plethora of technology and astounding levels of comfort make this one of our most advanced vehicles in our lineup.

AL Autos Has Made an Apperance at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show!

Hello everyone! In case you missed it, AL Autos recently revealed the newly redesigned 2020 AL Autos Quaestus! Included in this event was a summary of what the Quaestus has to offer as well as a short video showcasing the design of the new Quaestus. If you are interested in seeing what occurred at the time, check it out here!

An Update as to Our Prolonged Absence

As you all may have noticed, AL Autos has been quiet as of late. We want to assure the community that we aren’t going completely idle. We are simply trying to gather inspiration for our future vehicles and coming up with ways to improve our cars. That being said, publicized activity that will be posted here will be a bit limited. When something does come up though, we will make sure that it is worthwhile. Thank you for your patience everyone!

(In reality I am swamped with work and life so that’s also part of the reason why my presence here has been a bit scarce. I still will be fiddling around on Automation but only when I have actual time and energy)

As always thank you for following AL Autos news and developments. Until the next news developments arise!

Our design studio has been up to something lately…

Hello everyone! Management happened to take a peak at what’s going on in the design studio lately and we saw something in the dark that looks like it has been finished recently. We asked the design team and they said that they were just about to present it to us. Days later, this arrived in our mailbox and we felt the need to share it with you all.

Hello everyone! It’s definitely been a while since we’ve last posted here hasn’t it. We know I’ve missed a couple of things along the way (including revealing the cars that we previously teased, but, since it is now well into the new year and everything has gotten settled on my end, we’re going to try and start posting here again. Just because we haven’t been posting here doesn’t mean AL Autos has been idling in their designs. We’ve definitely been busy improving and sprucing up our lineup. To kick things off, we will be premiering one of our recently completed projects: The newly redesigned mid engined sports car, the Erucae soon! We will be debuting the Erucae at the upcoming Geneva International Motor Show using the original teaser. Once we get around to it, you may so more of the Erucae revealed as the show draws closer!

That’s all we have to say for now. Until the next news update, farewell!

On a Personal Note

Wow. Talk about a long Hiatus… again. Guess I should explain. The current pandemic has really shaken things up for a while. As per my previous post I planned to kick things off at the Geneva International Motor Show of last year but that was when the pandemic hit and… things went down hill from there. But now I’m back and with some nice things to show. Thanks to some new found inspiration, my lineup has been awoken from its long slumber and updated massively employing some new techniques I picked up. Let’s hope for a good year everyone! To kick things off…

On Hiatus No More!

We will be kicking things off with a debut @ Auto Shanghai 2021. Keep an eye out for our posts during the press dates (April 21 - April 28). Provided things go smoothly, we will present our cars there! So lets knock on wood, grab our lucky horseshoes, and keep our fingers crossed that things go smoothly!
