CSR9 Car Reviews

First to come to the test track is the

Storm Guardian (Madrias).

First Impression:

an interesting shade of very dark green…. I think? ‘really
nice but not more’ styling on the front, and on the rear, it’s the trademarked
Storm Automotives rear end styling. And we like it, simple, clean, and looks
like it means business. Which is really fitting for the theme.

Lets take a look at the inside. My driver to his driver seat
and me to the passenger seat. There’s a bunch of features are most likely not
gonna be used near the driver since no one else but the driver is gonna be
there. So that’s that. But on the other hand, the passenger side is VERY nice.
It has Everything you would expect it to has. Leather seats, heated everything,
extremely nice sound system, a plethora of power outlets. It also has a
computer with a touch screen monitor on each side which is used to controls
everything on the car, and they could also do their work while they are on
their way, or have a video conference meeting. although they still include a
classical radio which is nice for some other people.

Time to Open the Trunk and see what’s under the Hood. A huge
8.2L v12 with VVL and VVT making 675HP. It was also said that, the internals is
also made out of the very best material on it’s class, billet steel crankshaft,
titanium conrods and lightweight forged pistons, all to ensure the best
reliability and performance. I will be holding to those words, since those
sounds quite pricey to repair. Suddenly I remembered, the hood is opened with
the engine is still running, but I can’t see much vibration or hear anything.
Seems like this is a well built engine. So that’s a plus on my book

Okay then time to hand it to my driver and let it rip on the
track. 0-60 in roughly 4.4 sec and it completed the track in 2:17.9. off to the
skip pad and make the car do a slalom and back with maximum water spray on. Me
watching from quite a bit away, could see that the car is rolling quite a bit,
It really shows the heft that it has to move. The feedback I got from the
driver was “ it’s really good and very easy to handle. It could handle the rain
no problem. Also transmission is really helping with that gear skip features,
it just that you could feel the car rolling quite a bit. Although even with the
‘sport’ setup” He guessed that, that’s just the price of the suspension being
tuned for comfort than performance, and that is more than acceptable,
especially with the overall track performance and a tops speed of

Too soon to make the judgement, we will need to see what the
others will offer. Although it does set the bar pretty high.

The runner up to show up to the track is the

##Aques Gold (thecarlover)

So by the name of it, we’ve been imagining a gold painted
saloon or sedan. But when we actually saw it coming, our first impression was:

well……we actually never did say we wanted a sedan. And I
guess there’s the space advantage of an SUV.

Anyway, so the looks from the front is quite complex
looking, but it kinda fits. Looks like it’s trying to say “I don’t like
messsing around”. From the side we notice a neat side indicator, and it seems
like it has suicide doors for easier access. The rear is looking a bit more
restrained but is still keeping with the theme.

Interior time. Doors were opened and jaws were dropped. What
we are seeing are 2 fully hand-made
almost-reclining-sofa-like, you literally could spread your feet and not
bother the other passenger. Since it only have 4 seats total, it’s super spacious
and, the seats were positioned face-to-face but offset with a chair on each
side of the car. And on the driver seats, I think my driver is also quite
surprised with the 18-wheeler-chair-suspension on the front seats. That means
he could drive for days without getting a pain in the butt. For him literally,
and for me because he’s always whining about it to me on our current car.

ENGINE TIME! Hoods were opened and expectation were smashed.
We see 2 huge engine heads on each bank of the engine. As the representative
explained, it’s a 6.3l v12 with 5 of those squeezed mushroom head on top. A
racing tech on a luxury car! They also claimed that it would get up to more
than 9km/l, which is okay on a car this size and weight.

Okay then, test track time. But before that, the we were
told that this suv had a near perfect 50-50 weight distribution, which is
impressive on a freaking SUV! but 0-60 in…… 8.3s? and track time in…… more
than 2:42, which was done on the second lap because he spun out the first time.
It looks like a monster, but sadly doesn’t perform like one. My driver also
said he felt like the car was lifting the inside wheels on the corners. He also
said like there’s more to the engine, like it’s not finished making power when
the limiter kicks in. we’re guessing it’s for reliability reasons?

Okay, next is the skid pad test, aaaaaaand tire screech on
take off, the car is sliding around a lot with occasional spin out, it’s really
apparent that it’s not up to the test. My driver stopped the test halfway and
came back. His words were, “that showed enough for me, the assists helped, but
it’s already on it’s limit”.

In short, a really impressive creature comfort car, but
relatively lackluster performance. It’s not something we can’t modify, if we ever
to choose this car, especially with the $48685 tag, but that’s extra work for
us and something to note of

the third coming is the

Facciamo Cars Archeon Traveler V12(Vri404)

i’m sorry but, your submission was having problem, although you said you would remodel and send again, until the deadline you never did. i already tried ‘fixing’ the problem and try to make do with the pictures you provided, it just doesn’t work. the number are a bit too skewed for it to be accurate.
a below average 65.8 reliability and way below average fuel consumption of 5.77km/l didn’t convinced me.

so i’m sorry to say your car is disqualified this round.

4th to come is the:

##Revera MS580 AWD (asdren)

First impression:

overall….im just not sure what to think of it…… it just doesn’t
look like anything. Maybe a bit like a cartoon character where they’re smiling
really wide until their nose are gone, on the front. It’s weird, yet
attractive, it just makes me thinking about it nonstop. I guess that’s a good
point, but I personally not sure if I like it. my driver seems to be digging it
a lot though.

So, let’s just get inside. 5 luxurious leather stiched seats,
which shows it’s quality AND it feels wonderful. “These must be made out of
unicorn hides!”. And the entertainment systems is just as good. When the doors
were shut, the sounds were kept out. On the back of the front seat were
attached a 40” monitor, with keyboard and mice tucked in the center console
that could also be used as a 5th seat. Both heating cup holders and cooling bottle chillers are
also present. This the second most comfortable interiors we’ve tested so far.
This one feels like we’re sitting on a god’s throne. You could control
everything from where you sit.

Time to open up the bootie scootie. with the representative
explaining, here’s the point that we noted. 5.8L v12 with their own AlSi mix
engine block and heads, NO VVL tech, only VVT, cast internals except for the
forged pistons. I guess since the engine isn’t that big, it doesn’t need fancy
parts. Except the computer and fuel systems, we were explained that it was the
best that we could get on the market today, and they guarantee that it will
last much longer than just a short 10 years. That’s a pretty bold statement.
But that is also proof that they are super confident in their engine, which we
like.

Now then. The track test. 0-60 in 5.8s is not bad. 2:29 around the
is also not bad. Although it was fitted with an awesome automatic transmission,
we can’t help but feel that it’s the limiting factor in this car, for both
performance and fuel economy. But it does the job, really well at that. “the
performance is good. And the power is also good enough, and that’s good enough
for the job. Especially with relatively low weight in the class. But I can’t
help but feel something is lacking.” Is what I got from my driver. On to the
skid pad test. And, the car just glides through the test, eating it for lunch.
You could really see how losing weight really helps with the cornering even if
it’s still rolling quite a bit.

In conclusion. Except for the interiors, this car is a compilation
of ‘Good enough’. But then you look at the rather low expected running cost,
and the price tag of just $44310, suddenly it becomes ‘Really good’. With that
price, I’m sure we could ask for a bit more option for a bit more moolah. Especially
when we’re not buying only 1 car. The contender-ency is strong with this one.

5 th to come is the:

##Boqliq ambassador

but after that.

##it’s-IT’S-IT’S!!! IT’S A NONE BLARING BLUE BOQLIQ EVERYONE, THIS IS SOMETHING TO REMEMBER!

Joking aside. The design is really simplistic and clean, and I’m really
liking it. my driver? He said it’s “nice, I guess”, talk about taste
preference. Honestly, this is the best looking one that I personally like. At
least, so far.

Coming into the interiors we found 4 hand-made leather seats with
every feature you can imagine on a car seats. Although it looks pretty
standard, we can’t help but feel that it’s really not your standard seats. The
beauty of hand-made interiors. So to the infotainment system, it’s everything
you would expect on a car in this class, touch screen monitor to control stuff,
good sound systems, and we found it neat that you could adjust the temperature
of your cup holder heater, which means you could heat up your morning coffee
fast, and not get it too hot for immediate chugging.

Below the hood hides a 5.7L ttwin turbo v12 making…. 383hp? That’s
unexpectedly low for a turbo v12. looks like a pretty standard v12 engine so
far. Well, a standard on this class at least. That is until we see under the
car…… we’re baffled that…… the car is baffled, I mean, no reverse flow
mufflers, and instead replaced by a twin baffled exhaust. 6 gear single clutch
sequential gearbox transfers the power, a really good one at that, smooth and
quick shifting transmission with ‘auto’ mode for when you you just want the
computers to controls the gears. And we also see some other expensive choices,
like magnesium wheels and carbon ceramics disc brakes both front and back. That
has to drive parts cost up.

Track test time. 0-60 in 5.7s neat. A claimed top speed of 292km/h
yet with also claimed average economy of 11.36km/l, highest one we’ve tested. .
Do note that this is the lightest car we’ve tested so far, yet it still rolls quite
a bit, I think due to it’s high ground clearance. 2:22.9 around the test track,
It’s really good. So feedback from the driver? “if you don’t know what you’re
doing, it’s possible to loose your tail out of the corners thanks to the turbo
not the easiest to drive but it’s fun to drive. I also noticed that the
temperature is constantly rising ever so slightly”. Okay then, skid pad test.
Take off spin, the slalom seems nice until, he spun. Im guessing, because
turbo. Another retry he seems to be getting the control better this time,
although the tail still likes to wag a little bit.

So overall. A really nice looking car with a standard everything,
with a couple of exceptions like the transmission, and the aerodynamics of the
car. $49,280 as the price tag, but with the lowest running cost and the most
efficient car, the decision is more of a business one for this car.

What about car photos?

6th to the Ring is:

##Erin Aventa

First Impression

can’t help but feel that, it gives off the same vibes as the
revera…good looking but something isn’t right, im sure that’s not on purpose, but you know, i dunno. and even with the rear end, complex yet restrained. But of course, my driver is going nuts on this one…. Sigh…
tastes.

So, interiors. Those seats are not hand made, but those seats are
quite something. I have a feeling that this isn’t your normal leather, and as
it turns out, we were explained that it was a mix of alligator and cow leather.
That explains the appearance of the seats, half smooth, half not so much, but
still superb to the touch.

Entertainment systems, it’s I think almost on the same level as
the aques gold, it’s almost a theater in here, everything is controlled by the
monitor that is in between the rear seats, which also functions as the cup
holder and booze chiller below that, barely any noise could come in. this is on
of the best interiors so far

So opening that mood hood, and we see an…… inline 6. A HUGE
inline 6 turbo with 5.1L of displacement. So, top of the line quality
internals, as expected since that engine must be under huge stress at all time,
and we can see the love that is poured into the engine, and the money, since
it’s not a v12. And then a very nice but no overdrive(?) 7 speed automatic
transmission transfers the power smoothly. But, it’s peculiar that they chose
to stagger the wheels, 235F/255R, yet they chosen an active sport suspension
system, which works against each other.they claim a LOT of work has gone into
the aerodynamic of the car, which resulting in a claimed 9.84km/l the second
highest one so far.

Test track 0-60 in 5.9s, good and 2:28s is a bit faster than the
average time, which is still more than acceptable. Although it’s heavy, we see
a relatively low roll for the weight, another good news.

And the skid pad, thanks to the turbo setup and the somehow
unoticed by us until now that this is an RWD car, it performs similiarly to the
ambassador, albeit as said by me driver, a good bit easier to control because
the turbo spools really early and fast.

With a $46115 price tag and one of the lower expected running
cost, this car is offering a lot for the money, but it let us down on the skid
pad test, we just wished there’s an AWD option for this car and it would be
almost perfect. This one is a really strong contender

Spot number 7 has been taken by:

##LZ44 Luxury(carskick)

First impression:

it’s red? On a luxury car? And the front looks like it fits more
on a ‘premium-sport’ car rather than a luxury car. Going to the side…… it’s
okay, to the back. That affirms it. this is a premium-sport car look. Not a
luxury one. Especially when it’s red. Apart from that we did noticed the little
detail on the smaller things, it really looks and feels like it’s well built. Although……
it’s using corr rest steel as the panel, unlike the other competitors. Interesting.

Let’s stop blabbering on and on, and just go inside. 4 hand-made
leather seats. With red bolstering. Again with the somewhat ‘sporty’ look. Apart
fromt that. The seat are ridicolously nice, and the sound systems are……
actually just what we expected on a car of this price point. But there’s quite
of features, lots of little ones that we didn’t see before the representative
pointed it out since those features are mostly hidden somewhere.i guess it’s to
keep the ‘clean’ look inside, although im not sure if i like that I have to
open and close every single little pieces when I wanted to use them, though it
does the job of making the interiors looks clean.

Now let’s just pop the power popper hider. an AlSi block 4.4l V8??
With VVL and VVT. I guess they can afford the VVL since it’s cheaper than a
v12. It’s making 314Hp at… the rev limiter… im guessing it’s another
reliability control related issue, they did offer a 10 year warranty on their
car though. Signs of confidence. we like em.

Let’s just rip it on the test track. This time for fun. I asked to
tag along. And that’s when I noticed that it has a 9 speed autobox! Talk about
anti-mainstream. So 0-60 in 7.5s uhh…. And the car feels like it wants to flip
over on every corner. BUT, when it’s out of the corner, I feel……nothing. like
there’s a little engine roar sound but aside from that…… this …… this…. Feels
like im sitting on a cloud. I couldn’t feel a single bump. None, nothing, nada.
We’re going 240km/h on a straight line and I feel like I almost feel asleep. When
it was finished. I didn’t want to leave the car…. It’s just too comfortable to
get your seat off this creature comfort. But the driver said…. It’s just too
heavy for the power. And the suspension is way too squishy. It just doesn’t
have the performance we expected from the look of the car. That aside, it does
have the best fuel economy so far, and lowest expected running cost.

Anyway off to the skidpad. Launch. No skids. Not sure if that’s because
of the AWD system, or the engine doesn’t have enough grunt. The slalom, the car
is just WAY SLOW, because it has to
transfer all that weight so far, and thus, so slow.

So far, this is the ‘anti-mainstream’ luxury car. The whole of the car
just gives something than what you expected it to be. Although the $numbers are
low, there’s something telling us to keep it away from us. Maybe because it’s
slow, maybe because it’s red. But are just not sure why.

8th to come is the:

Smooth Thesus(airjordan)

First impression:

I like what I’m seeing here. And for once my driver agreed. It’s
very…… stripey, but it’s all in the right place and actually adds more to the
looks. This is what I would call ‘beauty in complexity’

Getting inside, and getting comfy…… because it really is. I mean
SUPER comfortable. Except for the SUV, this one is the best one so far. you
know, I’m just gonna sit here, and fiddle with the settings, and play a jazzy
music on the impressive sound system and sleep…… it’s just the kind of
atmosphere this interiors brings. I don’t know what it is, it looks like the
standard interior for this class, but like they just put a little bit of
thought into everything to make it so very calming. It’s really curious. I’m
really intrigued in how they did it, but the representative just won’t tell me.
Jerk.

So before I fall asleep, let’s just open up the hood, which was
electronically opened. Again, that bit of thought into everything is nice. what
we see under the hood made me even more curious…. A crossplane alumunium V8??
So that’s why it sounds so deep, and nice at that, but not as smooth though.
They are also giving a 10 year warranty, a solid proof of their confidence of
product.

Test track time. Since it has a… 8 speed autobox?? Without any
diff on either front or back axle, it does 0-60 in 7.1s. below average, but
still acceptable. Although I did notice that it only had a semi-clad undertray.
Weighing almost 2.1 tons, it’s showing a rather low body roll, which is always
nice to see, and feel. 2:32 around the track, again, acceptable but we would
prefer to have a little bit more power. To the skid pad, it does extremely well
and barely any wheelspin. A good indicator that it’s safe on the rain.

Overall, this is a good solid car with relatively low running
cost, although at $49665, it turns out quite a bit more pricey than its
competitor could offer for less.

The number magical 9 belongs to:

Pearlite Veritas(phale)

First impression:

Yup, that is

I mean like… that’s a loooooong hood, the body is also looks like
it’s made in the early 2000’s

But aside from that, the fixtures on the front actually looks
complicated yet fitting, although it feels like it resembles the boqliq
ambassador just a tiny bit.

Interior…… I open the door, I sit down, and the seats feels
roughly as comfortable as the Thesus, adjustable everything, and and with more
features than average. So I close the door and…………………

Yes, just……………… I mean, exactly nothing. Silence. I literally
couldn’t hear anything from the outside or what my driver is mumbling about,
until the he opened the blinds to the passenger side. It feels like a sensory
deprivation room in here. To the point of being a bit creepy since I could hear
my heart beat. So I turned on the music and

I was almost literally blown away by the wind produced by those
speakers. Okay maybe that’s an exageration but still, it feels better to watch
a movie in this car rather than a theater

Okay that’s enough interiors, now let’s see the power supplier. a
6L twin turbo v12 with both VVL and VVT making 557hp…… and it comes with a 3
year warranty for the engine alone…… again…. Im speechless. Before, because the
sound was overpowering my voice, now because the engine took words out of my
mouth, although I do notice it doesn’t seem to be made out of the best quality
parts.

So to the track. 4.4s 0-60 time. 333km/h claimed top speed. 2:22
track time. This may be the most exhilirating car we’ve tested today, although
the body roll is huge because of the squishy suspension setup.moving on to the
skidpad, off the line the tire screeched a little bit but quickly gained
traction back, most likely because ot the powerful engine rather than the
drivetrain system. At the slalom, It seems like the car could do better, look
like it’s limited by the body roll, since it has to move so much weight side to
side, the high body roll rate is making the weight transfer relatively slow.

Overall, this car is full of surprise, a monster engine, an
understatedly impressive entertainment systems, but looks a bit old, and with a
price tag of $49980, that’s not as much value as some of the other competitors.

10th time’s the charm:

##Ventnor Viceroy

and by that I mean. The look has a mid 2000’s looks to it. both front
and back. Aside from that. It looks proper enough, and I mean like, they paid quite
a bit of attention to the details. And the quality of the panels and everything
outside just feels really solid. And we like that.

Going through the narnia gate. I mean, the doors, I see 4 luxury
rated seats with, again, Mixed leather types. I LOVE DEM LEDER. So I sit down,
puff. Nope. I can rest in pieces right now. This is just too good to get up
from. And then there’s the sound systems and control systems. You could control
them via a tablet on the center console that you can pick up, or just use them
attached on the console. There’s a monitor on each side of the passenger. Im guessing
for video conference uses maybe, but it has a really good monitor quality. I don’t
know much about them but I do know they are of ze germans quality. Or at least
on part with ze germans standards.

Opening up the hood is like opening up a birthday present when you’re
60. You expected something grand but you ended up getting an underwear. The engine
was far from what we both expected it was. We expected high, and we fell from
that height. An old style cast iron bloack and head 4.3L inline 6, with
OverHead Valves…. Making a measly 206HP. And it doesn’t even have a direct
injection system. Sticking with the classic multi port fuel-injection. We don’t
know why they are going for cost saving that badly, especially on these class
of cars.

So on to the track… we wasn’t expecting much after what we saw. And
we were right. 0-60 in 8.4s is the slowest accelerating car we have today,
although it does have a fairly respectable top speed of 254km/h and 2:38 around
the track isn’t the slowest car we have today.

Off to the skidpad. Launching seems to spin the tires horribly,
until it finally gains grip, and does the slalom, unexpectedly quite well. It’s
just that traction control that’s missing is goint to be quite a hazard in the
rain.

Overall. While it does offer the best pure value in this class
with only a $33285 price tag. It’s lacking quite a bit of some critical points.
Mainly, the engine is very lackluster, not even a traction control system,
looks are a bit dated, tires are rather thin in width and in like, it’s only a
piece of rubber glued to the rims thin, the front brakes aren’t even strong
enough to stop the car, it can’t even lock the wheel. All in all, best value but
way too much work for use to get things the way we like it.

Last but not least is the:

##Lumen LX(rcracer11m)

First impression:

Ehhhhhh………

Again with the red color on a luxury car. And it feels like it has the same theme too. The ‘sporty’ look. Especially with 4 of those huge exhaust at the back.

Going inside. It has 4 hand-made leather seats. And ‘standard’
everything else. Like it has everything we were expecting, and none of what we didn’t.
the same story with the quality, sorry to say, it doesn’t leave an impression
on me. Except for that roof mounted monitors. This is the first time I’ve seen it like this. I didn’t know why the
other cars didn’t implemented it like this.

Opening up the producer hider. we get a 4L v12 with VVL and VVT. And…
it revs up to 9000 RPM!! And it hase long tubuluar exhaust headers. They also
did say the internal components were forged components. Then there’s the twin
throttle configuration. This engine just reeks of racing technology. And not to
my surprise, It’s making 500HP at…… the
rev limit. With the bores so small I bet they could rev up just a bit more
without any significant reliability penalty, so I’m not sure why they didn’t do
it.

Off to the test track. 0-60 in 5.9s top speed of 321km/h, and an
unbelieably good autobox. It’s so smooth that you almost couldn’t feel it
changing gears. And 2:24 around the track is as expected, above the average
time. This is the lightest car here today. It’s not even 1.9 tons we’re not
sure at all how they did it, especially with a long and heavy v12 installed. That
said…. The roll rate of this car is rather big, despite it’s low weight.

Off to the skid pad. Before launch, make sure all the driving
assist are…………… on?? Huh?? No traction control?? I know it’s an AWD and it has
a geared LSD. But no TC? Anyway lets just test it.

Launching. No spin whatsoever. The slalom, is actually doen pretty
fast despite the roll rate. And it stops just fine in the wets. I’m sure the
pretty wide tires helped with that. But now I understand why it doesn’t have a
traction control. It doesn’t need one. Although maybe we still would like it
for a just-in-case situation. Like snow, of getting stuck somewhere. I mean, it
can’t be that expensive to add a few lines of codes and some censors?

Overall. It’s a really solid car. The exterior doesn’t support that
statement. But once it goes. It goes without any frills. But with the price tag
near the limit, we will need to reconsider just how much value this car offers
against the competitors.

The king has come to the throne:

##Sofa 16000-TT (nerd)

First impression:

they revived their car that they built back in 1979, with a newer
engine.

(honest? I actually like the appearance)

This thing just OOZES out Street Cred.

(like actually, literally. The highest prestige rating on the
competition by FAR with 82 scores against the average of 63-65ish)

We’re not even gonna inspect this car. Lets just go for a ride
around the track and lose ourself, and hopefully not the control of the car. Driving
it… the fun goes as far as it dies down.

Moar then 3.1 Tons of Steel. A cast iron v12 with a Direct
overhead cam. Hey it’s not a pushrod! Comes with a single point fuel injection.
At least it’s fuel injected, not carburated. And it even has a twin turbo!

4 speed auto box, and it actually has 4 hand-made seats! And surprisingly
it does 0-60 in 5.9s with the top speed of 296km/h. that is both a respectable
number actually.

To be honest. I really don’t know what to write about this car
anymore.

But maybe… just maybe. I could actually buy just 1 car. As a
company mascot car…… yeahhhhhh god that is so tempting. Or maybe for myself……
oooohhh

This car is the devil of temptation. GET IT AWAY FROM ME!!! NO
WAIT DON’T!! DON’T TAKE IT AWAYYYYY NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

congratulations sir, we have taken your offer and would like to order a fleet of 10 cars for our first business contract.

it is as surprising to us as it maybe is to you. the winner is a v8 car instead of a v12. but that’s how it is.

there was the final contenders. the Smooth T and the Revera MS 580. the Revera has a lower price tag on it’s side. giving us the leeway to upgrade or at least option the car more. until i realized… the Smooth T has similiar everything in stats except better interiors. although the running cost is slightly higher, it is still in the acceptable range.

the one factor that separates this 2 cars finally came down to the safety factor. the Revera has an AVERAGE of 5 star crash test rating. the Smooth T has MOST of it a 5 star rating.

you sure reply fast don’t you?

i’m not confident in my photo editing skill so i’d rather focus on the writing itself…

and since it was approaching exam week, i have quite a bit of project deadline, so i don’t have the time to edit the photos either. i’m sorry.

although, if you find anything wrong, or you have any other critic. please voice your opinion. i find that actually helpful.

Very well written and it’s a pleasure doing business with you.

You could always just put screenshots from the game, without photoshop, so.

Koolkei, great reviews

Wheres my car?

If I had known the vast price difference between openbeta and normal I would’ve stuck with the V8 I originally planned for the Viceroy.

okay i guess internet memes in replacement of car pic wasn’t as well accepted. will note this next time. critic taken and thank you.
