soooooo i meant to finish up the review this evening, and to be posting the reviews right now.
but life interfered. so i’m really sorry, but it’s gonna be a little bit late.
although it is a bit my fault. the reviews are a bit long per car.

i didn’t have time to edit individual pictures of the cars because it’s approaching exam week for me. sorry. im also open to any critique.
Thanks for an entertaining writeup koolkei. I’m going to update the next round and let’s await AirJordan’s rules.
As usual please specify the build to be used, whether it’s open-beta, which seems to be the done thing now.
I’m very proud to be the chosen one for a luxurious challenge and congrats to other for making it tough. Thanks koolkei for nice reviews.
Now… on to the next one! This is going to be completely different.
The usuals first:
I, Mr. Jordan, am a successfully man (some day…some day!) starting to make my dream come true. Dream garage.

restomod…soon
I want something special. Something with a character. It must look good…really good. It must feel even better. Might be wild, maybe sporty… or a piece of art.
If you do not know what is a restomod:
Restomod (restoration + modern parts/technology) draws from all the amazing advancements in automobile technology over the past 40+ years to enhance the performance, comfort and safety of the classic car. A restomod car has the timeless appearance of the original, but the outdated guts of the car have been replaced with the more modern, high-performance parts of today. You achieve the same great look, but your vintage car will be revved up with all the latest bells and whistles to create a much better ride for the owne
if you’r still not sure, google: ICON, Singer, Alfaholics…
Rules:
Hints:
No need to ask me what kind of car. Be creative. Make a story. You have many options. You can go crazy with the oldest body and put in pushrods and magnesium engine (although that would hardly be a restomod) or make a porshe replica with same characteristics as original but just make everything better and modern (that’s what Singer does and it’s just porn on wheels). Just remember, I want to have a special vehicle with a character.
No worries with photoshop (and no market tabs), I will be much more interested in what you have to say about your car.
If I missed something let me know to edit that post. May the odds be ever in your favour.
EDIT: I do support mods but I’m not sure if I’ve got them all. So you either play it safe and use only HQ ones or you risk a really fast revision (if you submit well before deadline of course).
**EDIT2:**What are other options with the model you presented doesn’t mean a thing (there are countless, but you can still stick it in for the story). I will evaluate only the car I will get.
YES now we’re cooking WITH GAS.
This round marks a sharp departure from the slew of modern cars and into something a bit more lateral. With it naturally comes more caveats with regards to price estimation etc. and the market tab will be completely useless here, so I would not require people to post any screenshots of that part at all.
17th of May…or did your finger slip off the 4 (for April)?
Thanks!
I wanted do do this for a quite some time now with all eco-challenges…
Also I added gearbox rule.
Does it HAVE to have 80% markup, or can it just be around 80,000?
It has to be 80% or more. You are building a complete custom one of car, from a shell you bought. So it makes no sense to have 10% markup. Maybe 80% is too much but if I would lower that, price would go down as well. So it stays. I think there is still a lot you can do for that amount.
Also I added note about cooling and reliability.
Right, Let’s make a new car then!
ONWARD!!!
I’m loving this idea!
This is a great idea for a challenge! Can’t wait to make this car.
My First Build was going to be a Modern Re-creation of the RAVEN MkII, but was far too expensive (about 63,000 before markup.)
Time to make something custom…
Or a V6 911…
Because I want you really give it your best, I will lower only the markup to 60%.
Are you looking for a masterclass rework of an old legend? Look no further than VBR! Here today we are show casing to you, the VBR 911 “Tiger.”
##What sets the tiger apart from other 911 restomods?
The Tiger is made entirely from aluminium. The Engine has been replaced from the old boxer, to a newer 2L V6, with around 185hp. That doesn’t sound like much, but when the vehicle only weighs a smidgen over 1000kg, it is more than enough to send it to over 220kp/h. Many companies throw power at these things, but we said NO!
##What is the Tiger like to drive?
The Tiger, despite its rear-engine, rear-driven set up, is more controllable and more straightforward then all other 911 restomods. The Size of the rear wheels, 265mm, do help with keeping wheelspin down, significantly. The Front wheels, 195mm, are small enough to counteract any force, but large enough to keep oversteer from happening too much.
##How Customizable is the Tiger?
Well, this display model is the Middle of the line spec. Our other models are the increased ones. When you buy a VBR 911, you can either buy a premade kit, or design and build your own.
##Why not a Singer 911?
The Singers are great and all, but our 911’s are based on the 1970s generations. We can either re-create a spec from the 70s, or make one to your liking, using 70s Turbo Tech!
##Well, what does the Tiger Look like?
It was about time you asked!!!
Painted in either a Matte, Metallic, or Gloss Orange, the Tiger is the sure to capture the attention of others.
Come and buy your VBR 911 “Tiger” today for $79,550.
So, Now out of Sales mode and into OOC mode.
This is the most driveable Rear Engine car I have ever made (It is more Driveable than most of my normal front or mid engined cars )
Also the Mark-up is RIDICULOUS! It is about 360% mark-up.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
