##How I Will Calculate This
So, How Will I be doing the Calculations? Simple!
To Emulate Randomness through your laps, I will Roll 2d100, one for a Positive Modifier, the other a Negative Modifier, I will then use the difference between them for how much time is added if the result Negative or taken off if the result is Positve.
I will do that 5 times per car, and use the fastest lap time (so the one with the most removed time or closest to base time if all results had time added.)
In the result of a tie, the car with the faster base time would be put ahead, however both cars would get the same points for that round.

##Scoring System:
1: 25
2: 21
3: 18
4: 16
5: 14
6: 12
7: 10
8: 8
9: 6
10: 4
11: 2
12: 1
13 Onward: 0

RESERVED FOR FOR RESULTS

So the only thing that matters here is the lap time?

Exactly. I want to see how people get to the goals.

Hmm, I’ll probably pass on this one then, since track tuning is not one of my strong suits… unless I want to compete for the Wooden Spoon

I am interested in this. Nice rules too, they keep your options fairly open without being excessive.

I will enter a car at some point, once my entrants for other competitions have been done.

SUCCESS!

Anyway, I may Up the TA-1 Budget and reduce the points available (as I don’t expect more than 12 entries per class anyway)

-Sorry for double post  -

Some Examples of what I mean per Class.

#TA-U:

oh why not? it’s not mine either. just enter for fun and giggles and to crowd up the competition to make it more interesting. that is if you can spare time making the cars

When you say “Total Cost”, is this before we fiddle with the factory settings? Any rules on those? Since a lot of these cars are based on production vehicles but are varying degrees of modified, and others just rock up to the track stock…

As others have stated, factory settings don’t export currently, so I would recommend not.

Ah very good, that makes it much easier.

Sign me up for the TA-1, I gotta join at least one competition.

I’m going to explain more how my “calculations” will work.

For every 1 number on the dice is 10ms. A 100 would be 1 second. So, if I rolled a 73 on one dice (positive), that would be 730ms, and the other dice I rolled a 03, that would be 30ms. 70 - 03 = 70. That is 700ms off of the lap.

So…

#Be Fast, Be Ready.

ALSO: are the rules okay? Too Lenient?

Is this supposed to say made before 2005, but NOT before 1975?

Yes. Whoops. Fixed.

Ninja Edit:

Maybe it would be better to say between 1975 and 2005.

Well, do you mean starting with model year 1976 and going through model year 2004? If not, the way I worded it is just right.

EDIT: And, after looking at your edit, it is still confusing. You wrote:

when it should read:

The TA-3 Platform must have been made before the year 2005 (Model, not trim) but not before 1975 (Model, not Trim)

You could also say:

The TA-3 Platform must have been made in 2005 (Model, not trim) but not before 1975 (Model, not Trim)

I put the “not” in the wrong place, as I am a spoon.

I have fixed it.

Well, Since no-one has any complaints about the rules, I will open the Event Tomorrow.

GET YOUR COMPLAINTS IN NOW, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!
