By the time the time attack runs were to commence everybody already knew about the outright dangerous pace of the PTTA competitors, so there was quite a turnout for the sunday runs. The track still soaking wet from the rain, and it did not see like it would improve at all, so slowly and carefully, one by one the qualified competitors went out and did their runs. Serious mistakes and badly chosen tires were the talk of the day here, and the results have showed this to throw quite a few spanners in the clockworks.
