2017 New York International Auto Show

Simplicity works. I suck at any form of photo or video editing. In any case that car looks extremely dope.

Welcome again on Airborne Motor Group’s stand!

Part 1 - ND4SPD Concept: There you go

1967 RZ Hrvatska Sport
info from Djordje Zeniković, creator of the car

History
Airborne Motor Company since it’s beginning in 1947 was having a serious trouble getting in one market - Eastern one, controlled by USSR because the company itself was born actually in USA and some people (including folks at manufacturer called PZS) took Airborne as betrayers who try to lie to people that they’re polish meanwhile they don’t have anything in Eastern Bloc. Meanwhile, those ignorants did not know that Airborne had a deal with Stalin; the founder and all the staff won’t have any problems until they won’t bother to get into markets controlled by USSR.

However, as we know, Joseph Stalin died in 1953 and destalinizing was started. Airborne Motor Company was striken out of the list of USSR’s deadliest opponents, therefore importing cars could be possible. A dealership in Poland, where you wouldn’t need any kind of papers for the cars was planned to be opened in 1957, however some economic interruptions happened.

During 60s there were no chances of opening dealership network in northern bloc part, so Airborne attacked Yugoslavia instead - successfully. You could buy a new Airborne in Rijeka from 1964 to 1966. However, when the dealership was closed it’s boss, Djordje Zeniković was left unemployed with building and service ready. He transformed Airborne Hrvatska into RZ (Rijeka Zeniković) and started designing his own sports car.

In middle 1967 the car was born under the name of RZ Hrvatska Sport. It was very basic and primitive in comparison to Airbornes. It was also very slow - 32.5 seconds to 100 km/h for a sports car is an abysmal score. However, the car had some advantages - pretty good quality (even for western standards!), reliability through the roof, targa roof and excellent handling. It’s often compared to Lotus Seven in terms of it’s destination, since it’s pretty simple sports car for everyone.

Sadly enough, the car haven’t made it to larger audience. People didn’t wanted practical sports car, because they couldn’t pack their families (or illegal luggage) into it, so there were only 6 Hrvatska Sports sold ever and this is the only remaining unit - Djordje’s personal car through all those years. It has mileage of 650.000 km and still runs fine!
But, back to reasons why this thing hasn’t sold - it would have basicly no competitors. Closest thing to this RZ was bonkers Melkus RS1000 and it’s possible competitior from 1960, FSO Syrena Sport was never entered into production.

RZ Hrvatska Sport still reminds hoever as a symbol of true communist sports car and it has so large fanbase that the company is actually developing it’s successor. All we know is fact that HS’s successor will be not very fast, but excellently handling little sports car with lots of tuning potential.

Technicals

As the car is primitive communist contruction, it was adapted to ride on local tough roads and low quality fuel. In the end an 800cc inline 3 that was put in generates about 32 horsepower, which is enough to launch the car to 100 km/h in 32.5 seconds and reach 125 km/h. It was slow, however due to weight of only 602 kilograms HS had excellent braking power and was very easy to drive and did not even need power steering.
The engine runs on simple carburettors and pushrod top-end system and is all cast iron.
There are hard long life tyres installed to comply with quality of Yugoslavian roads as well the suspension was strengthened.

That’s all for RZ Hrvatska Sport, visit us at next review!

Didn’t think that it would be a problem but i’ll edit it when I get the time.

Well, double posting within the same hour is a general no-no in a forum, it’s kind of common sense to an extent.

In no way did I intend to address that in a rude manner.

Let’s carry on, don’t want this thread to get derailed any further.

2017 RZ Orbit II

RZ is a company currently known as cheap, maybe not very fast cars for everyone. It couldn’t be different for competitor of Volkswagen Polo and Golf, basicly very profitable market of small compacts.
Airborne was producing the Orbit I from 2009 to 2015 and RZ was producing it from 2015 to late 2016, when the car was finally shut down due to being outdated.

Actually, work on it’s successor, dubbed Orbit too began in late 2013 and development has finished in January 2017 along with final production plans. And here we’re presenting this new car!
It will be offered in two body types: wagon and hatchback, however we plan to attack regions of Volkswagen Scirocco too with more sporty and powerful models based on the Orbit, having respectively body type of sedan and coupe, maybe even convertible.

RZ Orbit II in it’s Hatchback P trim bears standard interior, 103 hp new inline 4 with natural aspiration. That’s enough to move the car to 100 km/h in 12.1 seconds and reach 168 km/h. Just a typical econobox, no? It’s mainly suited to families who don’t care that much about epic comfort features and want reliable, economical car for everyday use.

You can also order Hatchback and Wagon in their P+ variant if you want slightly more luxury as of leather seats and door sides and so on. That doesn’t mean that quality is bad even in standard model - all materials used are biodegradable, safe and aren’t breaking apart after first 50 km.

This is how RZ Orbit Wagon looks like. With it’s enlarged rear part of body you can haul more stuff in your trunk, you can also carry one passenger more because it has three comfortable seats in the rear. Features the same all-new 1.6 litre inline 4 from Hatchback variant.

Welcome to the AL Autos Display!

On a side note: Sorry I was not able to post here for a couple of days. Homework plagued my evenings and I was unable to share my creations. So without further a do.

Music starts

Hello one and all and welcome to the AL Autos Display! We have with us here today another one of our beautiful GT cars.

Curtains covering the car rise

The AL Motricium 774 R

The Body

The body of the Motricium was shaped to not only catch the eye of some passerby, but to also shape the air flowing around the car, providing the many benefits of aerodynamics.

The Comfort

All GT Cars must have a certain level of comfort in order to be a GT Car. While we used one of our sports themed interiors, the magic happens underneath you. AL has tuned the suspension to point which the car is still comfortable to drive on the normal roads, but when you take it to the track, the car will have minimal body roll, 2.55 degrees to be exact.

The Performance

All GT cars require the performance to accompany luxury, This is why AL Autos has put a 4.3 L Twin Turbo Flatplane V8 heart outputting 774 HP. This, along with a 7 speed double clutch sequential gearbox, a longitudinal AWD system, 275 F/295 R tires, and an electric LSD allow this car to go from 0-62 in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 210.5 MPH/338.8 KPH. On the Top Gear test track, it clocks a 1:13.9.

AL Autos would like to apologize for our recent absence at NYIAS. Due to AL’s absence at NYIAS, we will also reveal another GT car.

Previous music ends

Another track starts

Curtains covering 2nd car rise

The AL Autos Pretium 872 XLES

The Body

The body of the Pretium was shaped to not only accommodate the cars’ beating heart, but to also embody the style of what we think is the practical modern GT car: A decent sized trunk to fit all your belongings, a spacious cabin, and a long bonnet that disappears into oblivion.

The Luxury

Inside the Pretium, AL has pulled out all the stops to make the GT car what it is on the inside: Nappa Leather Seats, customizable interior lighting, leather and wood trimmed dash, an 11 speaker Bose sound system, and AL Autos new ALConnect Infotainment System: HD Radio, Real time traffic satellite navigation, USB Compatibility, and AL’s WorldConnect which allows the user to see what attractions are nearby, make reservations at hotels and restaurants, check their favorite sports teams scores, check the 7 day forecast for any area, and so much more!

The Performance

As we’ve said in the past, a GT car is nothing without the performance to accompany the luxury. This is why we have fitted this car with a 5.7 L Twin Turbo V12 producing 872 HP. This combined with a 7 Speed Double Clutch Sequential Gearbox, a longitudinal RWD system, an electric LSD, and 275F/305R tires allow the car to go from 0-62 MPH in 3.6 seconds, achieve a top speed of 216.0 MPH / 347.6KPH, and clock a 1:15.8 on the Top Gear Test Track.

AL Autos would like to thank you for joining us at this presentation! Look forward to the reveal of the rest of our wonderful machines as NYIAS continues!

##HIMMEL NYIAS BOOTH

Revealing our latest EO in Geneva with a small unannounced appearance wasn’t enough to make a big impact, so in New York, Himmel has decided to bring out its newest flagship, the 490B supercar and G-Zero 0 GT sedan, both very important products for the company

2014 Himmel 490B

Many have claimed to be sports car of the future, but few get the future right. Even fewer are more impressive than the 490B. The 490B features a 4.9 liter V8 working with an ultralightweight and powerful electric motor to produce a combined out put of 960 horsepower. The 490B defies the laws of physics, delivering hypercar matching performance despite its higher weight and skinnier tires.

Basic Stats

Engine: 4.8 Liter V8 + Twin Electric motors front and rear
Max Power: 620 HP @ 8500 RPM + 340 HP Electric Assist
Max Torque: 873 NM @ 7500 RPM + Classified

(I really wish it faster guys, but this is all the layout and body will give me without going 1000 HP +.)

##2016 Himmel E.O Turismo 3.5

The mainstay of Himmel’s line up, the EO is the quintessential rear-engined sports car. It’s 3.5 liter flat 6 unit now produces 410 horsepower and paired to a 7 speed manual gearbox. The E.O is evidence that old thrills can come in newer, shinier and faster packages.

##2016 Himmel E.O 580 Twin Turbo

The Twin Turbo EO has gone a long way from being the homicidal maniac it was in its early days, and into being a proper supercar. Now boasting 580 horsepower like the name indicates, the new Twin Turbo can accelerate to 60 in 3 seconds flat and complete the 1/4 mile faster than an Assoluto Infinito at about 10.7 seconds.

Available only with the SkyV dual clutch transmission.

##2016 Himmel G-0 Zero V8 Sport (Pronounced G Zero Zero)

The premium executive market has proven to be a very lucrative for sports car brands to ensure our survival and keep shareholders happy. The first generation G Zero 0 opened up that opportunity, offering a Himmel styled 4 door sedan for the masses who desired sports car performance and feel but the practicality and luxury of a 4 door. The new G Zero 0 continues this trend with distinct styling, a V8 made from the same block as the 490B hypercar and 4 wheel drive.

490B Spyder got me like

It looks and feels so insane, yet also so mature and grown-up. I love it.

As for the rest of Himmel’s line-up…

…well, let’s put it this way, I have no qualms in naming it the actual ‘Porsche’ of the Automation world. Superbly well replicated but also tinged with a uniqueness that makes it a lot more interesting. The naming schemes you have going on are also stellar.

Awesome that G-0 Zero!!!

Why so narrow (for nearly 900hp) tyres? They probably limit the performance quite severely.

In Ridge Racer the G-Zero-Zero (G00 for short) was actually manufactured by Gnade (German for “mercy”) instead of Himmel, but I’ll cut you some slack because it, like the rest of the range, looks as awesome as it drives!

I know but Himmel literally only has 2 cars in their lineup so I gotta think of something to name this not-Panamera.

I initially wanted it named the Esperanza but it won’t match too well with the rest of the cars.

In retrospect, I have no clue why I kept the tires that small. Thanks for catching my mistake. I updated the tires to bigger 275F/305R. Improved the performance quite dramatically and clocked a better time. 1:15.8

Thanks for the catch. I will edit that into the post.
