Trivia

After the A1GP, X99 Minuteman, and Fenrir, this is Zacspeed’s fourth attempt at making the quickest vehicle on four wheels

In one of their updates, RZEI patched the problem of the Fenrir being able to outrun the racing lines. However, the introduction of Helios means that they need another update to prevent the newly introduced car from doing that.

There is a symbol of a long-eared bunny painted on the rear wing endplates of the car. This is a reference to the “Arctic Hare” Group 5 Zacspeed race car. This is also a reference to the fact that, with its airbrakes deployed, the car looks like a rabbit from front.

The suspension reflects the 2022 Zacspeed F1 car’s suspension change (pullrod front, pushrod rear). This flips the order from the 2021 Zacspeed ZR21 F1 car (pushrod front, pullrod rear)

With the engine on its highest boost setting, it may only last two to three laps depending on the circuit. Players driving the Helios should set their boost pressure with caution when using it on longer races. Maximum boost pressure is recommended for qualifying runs.

Just like its predecessor, the Helios would require its own race class for any resemblance of competitive racing.
