A couple of suggestions

Hey!

First of all, great job! The previous version of the game was already a great tool to learn about engines, but now with the new updates you’ve brought it to a whole other level. Congratulations!

I meant to come on this forum before and suggest a way of keeping track of the different attempts in engine development, by, for example, providing the user with a table of those attempts, their outcome and the possibility of going back to a previous engine setup. However, I installed the new version now and I saw the your idea of providing us with the graphs for power, torque and economy that change in real-time as we change the parameters of the engine is much better and I congratulate you for that. Still, I have a suggestion regarding that, which is to improve on that, by giving us a chance of choosing other parameters to oversee in real-time. For example, if the engine I’m making has to be as reliable as possible, I want to see the reliability value changing as I change the parameters.

My other suggestion is that you provide the user with controls to view the tutorials, so that we can rewind and fast forward a little, if we misheard or didn’t understand something. That way we don’t have to watch the whole video up to that point again.

That’s all for now. Keep up the great work!

Cheers,

Francisco

Yeah, we need a rewind and fast forward. I think you should go to the final tab to see the reliabilty and you can’t change reliability much, if there is a problem with the reliability it shows it in the graphs such as knocking or rpm limit

Also it would be VERY nice to have the “Top Speed” data included in the transmission page as you change the ratios.

Forget that about keeping track of other engine parameters like reliability, emissions, responsiveness, cost… That is all show quite cleverly when you press statistics on the left side of the screen.

But the rewinding and fast forwarding of the tutorial videos would still be great.
