AGC22: Nostalgic Revival (Final results in!)

Host’s decision I suppose for just about anything

Nice writeups! I’m kinda sad my kei friends didn’t score better, but they met some very strong competition, so that score’s pretty understandable.

Compared to them, I think my more detailed fixture design might have been able to beat the Yorokobi, but I wouldn’t’ve come close to the Shincha. Regardless, great job you guys!

I don’t remember ever seeing mods mentioned in a post, so I guess so.

In the few challenges I’ve hosted, if I was missing a mod on one of the cars, I would message the user asking if they recognized the missing mod (or thought it was important). In the few events we didn’t clear it up (minor stuff, like rims or a license plate), I would use their forum posts as reference during judging.

Congratulations on the win vouge! And thanks for hosting this round Aruna, I quite enjoyed it!

When I hosted CSR 137 (on 4.1), I used that exact approach - and due to imposing some arcane rule about engine cooling levels (which I ended up having to explain), ended up with more ineligible submissions than expected. Then again, none of those would have made it to the final 10 for various other reasons. The whole thing turned out OK in the end, though. For this reason, if I ever host another CSR, I will have to communicate the meanings of all the rules, requirements and regulations more clearly to any and all potential entrants.

Everyone,
@kookie and I will be hosting the next round after vouge passed it down to us on discord. Expect something before the end of the month.
