2024 EAB Marigold 450 Sheriff’s Interceptor
The classic Marigold 450 from 1997 gets a fresh and beastly makeover for use by the Sheriff’s department.
The engine has been retuned for reliable city use without hindering it’s performance. With the 4.4L NA V8 still having it’s respectable output of 450HP despite the changes to it’s internal structure.
This new refresh has been equipped with competition spec brakes and new fresh modern sports tires.
The transmission has been swapped from the manual to an auto-manual style for increased performance to help in response time incase of emergency.
Being an interceptor, the Marigold has been reinforced to take many more hits and dish out even more back.
The most interesting trick up the Marigold’s sleeve however is “The Wrangler”, a crude but effective solution to stop any pesky speedsters. The Wrangler’s winch is equipped with an air-propelled hook that will attach to the suspect, hooking them and the officer’s car’s together. Afterwards the intended technique is for the officer to pull out and then yank the e-brake to “wrangle” the suspect and disable their vehicle. The hook is designed to penetrate and then snare whatever it ends up touching, so it’s very unlikely to detach once the officer wrangles the suspect.
