All the engines are competative, i expect several of the NA engines to run around .5s - 1s slower than the Turbos
I saw. I was just surprised mine were also. I’m not so great at engine tuning. I still have a lot to learn.
Some questions there:
I’ll use my own engines, but if I were to use engines from others, should I ask them via PM?
Also, is the development of the engines frozen? Or can I still upgrade them in one way or another?
And finally, could you please explain better what will be allowed to change between races and how will the money system work?
I just can’t figure out exactly and clearly how that will work. I mean, am I obliged to buy 3 engines? Do I really need to have 2 car bodies?
EDIT: It would also be great to know what sort of tracks the cars will run on, whether they’ll be all GP tracks or tight rally stages will be mixed in.
I went for an engine with low boost pressure to maximise tameness. Sure, it doesn’t have as much torque as other engines in the field, but as a result my car will get less wheelspin which will hopefully make a difference.

If anyone wants a different engine to their own. Just PM me. (Note: only engines in the spreadsheet may be used)
Engine developement is frozen.
You may change all trim settings on the car to set it up properly., you may also edit the car design (ie lips, wings, cooling zones etc.
Every team buys 3 engines for the season, Looking at one or 2, i think you might agree that 3 engines would be needed. The 2 car bodies to to simulate wear and tear, most real world teams use multiple bodies throughout a season, due to damage, improvements, driver preference.
Race season will be as follow: 2 GP circuits, 1 Rally track, 1 long distance track. 2 GP tracks.
I’m satisfied. The power is inline with all the others NA engine and it’s the cheaper on the budget. So everyone could spend more on the car
597 bhp for only 16.000$
Znopresk will not partecipate as car manufacturer, only as engine supplier.
or get the RS-03 V8 for 12.8 extra hp for only 2000$ more.
Yeah, but I’m having also 12 kg of weight less on my side.
You could just go with my engine, which has the most power in the AGT 2. for only $24k XD
ok,you win
I am editing the OP to include a rar file with all engines currently useable in the AGT. This is to save you from having to send a pm to get an engine etc. Please note: You can only use 1 engine design throughout the season per class.
Due to a big shortage of entries, i am extending the deadline until next Saturday.
My submission still hasn’t been downloaded. Is this event still on?
It was downloaded little over a weekago . Need to run the cars around the track, sad to say the field is very very small
Next track will be Sonoma Raceway viewtopic.php?f=36&t=4764
Oops, I was confusing the AGT with IRC. How many cars are there? Shame everybody built engines but no cars.
7 in total
I feel like I should comment hopefully to provide some useful feedback: for me, what stopped me from submitting a car was confusion over the development lockout rules (which now make sense but at the time I didn’t understand how that fit with the tournament). Also, the budgeting was a bit confusing too.
Actually, the rules themselves aren’t necessarily confusing, but I suspect that formatting and phrasing plays a very large part: even if there are heaps of rules, if they’re easy to read and well laid out, lots of people still join just as for really simple and accessible tournaments.
ROUND 1: Circuit of the Americas
Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the first season of the AGT. Here today we will see the best of the best race against each other around this fantastic Texan track. Here are our competitors for the Turbo class AGT 1:
Oppositelock in the Warp1A powered by the GSI 4.0L V8T
VicVictory in the HarpoonAGT1 powered by the Smolensk Python
Leonardo9613 in the R1 Turbo powered by the Baltazar 3.8L Turbo
TheTom in the AGT powered by the AMW 40t8r
So there are our competitors all challenging for the AGT 1 title. Now its time to see the Competitors for the AGT 2 title:
Oppositelock in the Warp1B powered by the GSI 4.0L V8T
VicVictory in the HarpoonAGT2 powered by the Smolensk Python
Leonardo9613 in the R1 NA powered by the Baltazar 3.8L Turbo
So there we have it. All the competitors in both the AGT1 and AGT 2. Up first is the AGT 1 cars.
Oppositelock is waiting on the start/finish line waiting for the lights to go out.
1 LIGHT… 2 LIGHTS… 3 LIGHTS… 4 LIGHTS… 5 LIGHTS… AND HE IS OFF.
Split 1: 1:03.04
Split 2: 1:08.49
Lap time: 2:11.52
Pretty solid laptime there by Opposite lock. Next up is VicVictory
1 LIGHT… 2 LIGHTS… 3 LIGHTS… 4 LIGHTS… 5 LIGHTS… AND HE IS…
Well he is supposed to be heading up towards turn 1 by now but he has stalled on the line and now he cant start the car.
Oh dear, he is shaking his head in dismay as he is wheeled back into the pits. Next out is Leonardo
1 LIGHT… 2 LIGHTS… 3 LIGHTS… 4 LIGHTS… 5 LIGHTS… AND HE IS OFF.
Split 1: 1:03.01
Split 2: 1:09.48
Lap time: 2:12.68
Nice laptime there from the R1, very impressive 1st split, but sadly lacking in the 2nd, Might have something to do with the fact he is lacking some 20km/h on the Warp1A.
TheTom take his place on the grid.
1 LIGHT… 2 LIGHTS… 3 LIGHTS… 4 LIGHTS… 5 LIGHTS… AND HE IS OFF.
Split 1: 1:01.97
Split 2: 1:08.75
Lap time: 2:10.72
Hello baby. Look at that TheTom comes out of nowhere and slams his car straight into 1st, even though he has so far has the slowest car going down the back-straight not even getting up to 280km/h.
Now its up to VicVictory , lets see what he can do, hopefully he gets away from the line this time,
1 LIGHT… 2 LIGHTS… 3 LIGHTS… 4 LIGHTS… 5 LIGHTS… AND HE IS OFF.
Split 1: 1:08.94
Split 2: 1:13.91
Lap time: 2:22.86
Did we miss a crash? Or a spin, or something. In the speed trap, VicVictory was 2nd fastest, just shy of 300km/h, He just has an issue with corners, and a lot of wheel spin even at almost 300km/h. No grip in that car, not something i would want to pound around an oval in.
So there we have it Ladies and Gent. TheTom is the winner of the AGT1 Race 1 Here are the Classified Results:
AGT 1
TheTom AGT AMW - 2:10.72
Oppositelock Warp1A GSI - 2:11.52
Leonardo9613 R1 Turbo Baltazar - 2:12.68
VicVictory Harpoon Smolensk - 2:22.86
Here we are ready to go for the AGT2 Race. Up first is VicVictory. Let all pray he has a better time of it in this Class.
1 LIGHT… 2 LIGHTS… 3 LIGHTS… 4 LIGHTS… 5 LIGHTS… AND HE IS OFF.
Split 1: 1:08.98
Split 2: 1:14.34
Lap time: 2:23.32
Well that is either a huge performance gap, or something is wrong, Look at some stats i would say there is an issue with the car and wheel spin, Again Vic is going to have to find out how to put those 750 horses down on those rear wheels.
Here’s Leonardo
1 LIGHT… 2 LIGHTS… 3 LIGHTS… 4 LIGHTS… 5 LIGHTS… AND HE IS OFF.
Split 1: 1:03.74
Split 2: 1:11.14
Lap time: 2:14.89
Thats a nice time there by Leo, only 2 seconds off his Turbo time. Not to bad.
Last competitor for the day is Oppositelock
1 LIGHT… 2 LIGHTS… 3 LIGHTS… 4 LIGHTS… 5 LIGHTS… AND HE IS OFF.
Split 1: 1:03.61
