I’ll do some quick testing tonight and post a ruleset.
Personnally that’s a car I would consider banned, as it is definitively quite faster, at least in raw speed, compared to a GT3 car.

Initial Impressions: The Alfa Romeo GTA is quite fun on this course. (with all assists off on a green track.)
Well, yes, it’s in the same league as the P1, LaFerrari, definitely wouldn’t consider to run it against the GT3 bunch.
Alright, here is the 3rd round with more regularly sized track this time.
#Round 3: Lotus 240R S3 at Zandvoort
This car has a few more setup adjustments available, and while they won’t really make you much faster, considering the car is not very aero heavy, I would like if those who get some good results out of their setup to share it with the others.
Here is the first time:
It was done with the stock setup. There is still some time to be found but it should be a good starting point.
I’ll edit with the link to the sheet when Ram has the time to switch it to the new track.
Have fun.
Which controller were you using?
2:04.382… I got a ways to go… Oh, but that was with the stock tune, crap! Now I have to try with the Stage 3 tune…
Edit: So far 1:59.882 is my best with a controller.
That’s quite a good target time. Did you have any aids activated? I’m currently using no driving aids but goodness, I’m still 0.2s off the target.
Like I said in my overexcited rant earlier, it’s all about picking the right corner speed to thread yourself smoothly.
EDIT: Finally. With zero driving aids, manual shifter, manual clutch (and a lot of cursing.)
Rear negative camber has been maximised, front negative camber also increased and toe in reduced as is my preference for better turn in and mid grip. But the track is bumpy so I think I also reduced the front anti-roll bar slightly. My Civic has completely ruined my foot sensitivity, so I reduce brake power to about 90% when I can, although this probably takes a bit of the bite off the braking at the end of the high speed straight. That’s only one corner though.
This in absolutely no way demonstrates that I’m actually faster than @TrackpadUser on this track, though. I only really managed to string together a relatively error-free lap after about 20-30 takes or so, although admittedly many of those were due to me mis-shifting and either blowing the engine or grinding the gears (attaching both the shifter and the wheel to a rectangular office desk makes for a very awkward shifting position). All that heel-toe downshifting was a good workout though
p.s. I’ve taken the liberty of creating the new sheet, feel free to check it out.
You were able to add and edit a new sheet?
Yeah actually I was. Have a look?
Right, thanks, looks good!
ABS, as I was having issues with the brakes being overly sensitive. I’ll probably try reducing brake power and going no ABS.
I am also running autoclutch and autoblip since I can’t get my brain to work the clutch properly while shifting with paddles, and my h-gate shifter keeps doing some weird stuff.
Well, in that case I’m going to go ahead and be extremely pleased at beating even the initial target time
The brakes are hella twitchy in the 240R. But you can also adjust the brake pressure gamma in the advanced control setup, that may help. That being said using ABS is generally kinder on the tyres though my trail brake technique is definitely improving. Even so I found that 90% brake power was adequate in the 240R.
I find it’s possible to shift slightly faster in manual than than the computer shifts for you, although that being said the computer never gets it wrong, and my 2-3, 4-5 is hella notchy. Which means in reality my 3-4 is the fastest shift and everything else is slow (same as in real life)
I’ll check with the brakes, I know it locks a lot easier than what I am used to with the various cars I drove in iRacing, which is why I just said “fuck it” and activated it.
I didn’t feel too bad though considering the real car has ABS.
Also, while it’s a bit early in the round to talk about this, for the round selection I would just say it should be:
-Someone who hasn’t done it yet, unless everyone has done it.
-Try to keep it somewhat different between 2 rounds. By that I mean, change the track and chose a car that’s not too similar in the way it drives.
Just went back to mouse with TC and ABS for a test. Let’s just say I’m not submitting that time it completely destroyed my zero aids PB.
well the title haven’t changed yet. i didn’t think the next round were already well and alive…
let me give it a shot now
Ayyyy bowhowdah
Jk lol that was in a Lotus Exos. Close enough, right?
How fast?
