Shanghai, China - The Shinka Alliance is pleased to debut the B1A concept to the world during Auto Shanghai 2021, a testament to the unlimited potential for a new era of zero-emissions mobility. The B1A, developed with legendary Italian manufacturer Zephorus, represents tomorrow’s sports sedans, combining the thrill of a traditional sports car, the understated usability of a sedan, and the ruthless performance and efficiency of electric power.
“The B1A represents the genesis of a new family of B1 family cars, each pushing the limits of electric vehicles in their own segments,” stated Riley Phillips, Chief Designer of Zephorus. “With the B1A, we embark on a journey to continuously redefine the boundaries of electrified performance.”
The B1A utilizes the Shinka Battery First platform (B1), which is designed to maximize driving performance, efficiency, and digital networking.
In this specific car, two AC synchronous electric motors deliver a total of 509 horsepower to all four wheels, helping the car reach 0-100 kmh in less than 4 seconds. They are designed to be efficient and smooth, while being able to cool down quickly. This is further helped by the two speed transmission for the rear axle, minimizing wear on the motors.
Its 90 kWh battery sits low in the chassis, spread out over most of the available space. This leads to excellent weight distribution and a low center of gravity. Combined with torque vectoring for each individual motor and adaptive all-wheel drive, the B1A utilizes all of its grip to deliver outright shocking performance.
Driver focus is the rule here. A digital dash displays a varying amount of vital information depending on the driver’s needs and desires. It is oriented towards the driver for maximum involvement. As the driver changes their seating position, the instruments adapt to eliminate any obstruction. And it is possible to control all controls using a wide bevy of methods and set the car even before the driver thinks of opening the door.
Finally, the design of the B1A proudly proclaims its presence, while paying tributes to its forefathers. The chiseled, muscular presence of a sports sedan is present in spades, with a low, wide, and “pushed-back” appearance combined with a beak-like front and strategically placed cooling vents and aerodynamic passages, all honed in the wind. The rear signals its identity, using a stylized version of its name inside a blacked out bar.
Best of all, this isn’t just a dream, it’s a reality. It will go to production in late 2022 in various versions for worldwide markets.
We are tired of the predictions of the demise of our industry. In an uncertain era, the desire to win comes first and foremost. Our best moments do not just happen, they happen when we seize the opportunity to innovate, prove ourselves, fight for the best, and forge a new relevance.
We are not just playing for ourselves. We are fighting for the future of the automotive industry. This is our time, and we intend to make the most of it.

As of 2021, Kurokama has made a big leap towards our future plans, greatly accelerated by the resources that our new alliance has to offer. The biggest change is the new K3ASSA platform which will be the new standard for all our vehicles, such as the SC you see in front of you, and even vehicles outside of the Kurokama brand.
The old KMMC platform was outdated, so our engineers and the engineers at Shinka have created the K3ASSA, an aluminum alloy semi-space frame designed with the help of advanced computer software. This increases body rigidity and allows for much cleaner wiring, a more spacious interior, and increased environmental resistance. The car now features updated body panels including lighter doors and tailgate, which translates to more space and safety. They are more recyclable and sustainable than the previous ones, as we hope that at the end of its usable life, the car will not be a burden to our planet.
Another major change is the standard new engine developed by our sister company SNB, a 2000cc inline four with aluminum alloy block and heads, equipped with the second generation of our Advanced Direct Power system. This new “RAI4-20Ti” focuses on longevity, efficiency, and smooth operation, improving NVH qualities, while rivaling naturally aspirated engines in reliability. The parts that allow us to achieve this are the new crankshaft, the advanced turbo, and the direct injection system, giving the car a stable and smooth power curve.
Starting with the transmission, Kurokama has finally opted for a six-speed dual clutch transmission, which works in union with the ADP system of the engine and the car’s KSU ECU unit, allowing for harmonious operation, and giving it a decent 7.2 0-100kmh time while maintaining a wonderful estimated 63 US mpg (3.7 L/100km) combined fuel consumption.
The suspension has received new shock absorbers and has been reloacted to optimize the car’s road behavior, and with the assistance of the updated springs and suspension arms provides one of the best driving experiences that a modern automobile can offer, while being more comfortable than the previous generation.
Finally, we developed new aerodynamics and styling, especially the heavily revised front bumper. We have developed a new three-dimensional pattern that allows us to ensure that air follows the desired route around the car, which means better high-speed stability and fuel efficiency during cruising.
We cannot wait to share all of this as it comes into production in late 2021.

Founded in 1996 by a partnership with the infamous FWM, Reconciliation Motors is well known for its high-value models that are popular in North America, as an American budget-oriented alternative to Kaizen. However, RCN cars are sold around the world under various names, and thus have gained an international following. The all-new RCN Spirit is their latest effort to put their foot in the premium market, something RCN has sought to do since its inception as they have felt that their products are just as well made as any other brand, and could be sold at a higher price. This model will also have a special emphasis on the rapidly growing Chinese car market.
The RCN’s thoroughly modern design evokes a sense of confident security with its large grill and sleek headlights, with a special emphasis on technology. The car gives an appearance of subtle aggression with its mildly wide stance and dynamic molding all around. Finally, the rear carries over the sleek, modern theme, with lighting and light up lettering encased in a blacked out housing with integrated dual exhaust. Inside, a sophisticated infotainment system straight from Kaizen and Capriolo models is present, with fully digital dash and various touchscreens. It features the requisite leather and luxury features one would find in a modern luxury executive sedan, and the all latest safety featurse.
Backing this authoritative stance is an all-new turbocharged 3.0L inline-6 developed by Kaizen. An all-aluminum design, with dual cams, 24 valves, and direct injection, it produces 389 hp and 370 lbft of torque. This is backed up by the ZF 8HP automatic transmission with all-wheel drive and limited slip differential, for a smooth yet responsive driving experience. In the 3.0s trim, there are special sport tires, brakes, suspension, and aero.
The Spirit platform will ride on a variant of the platform used throughout the SHINKA alliance, with suspension parts from the Kaizen F series, with Mac-Pherson fronts and multilink rear. This allows for an excellent blend of performance, space, comfort, and safety.
It is slated to come into production sometime in 2022.
