Automation Beginners League - season 82/83 drawing to an end!

I think that between 1000kg and 1100kg is the best weight, for what I could see the last round, that’s why we choose the minimum 1200kg penalty :smiling_imp:

Yeah we can say that

God I hate this game. You go to the menu wanting to export, just re-load the car to check everythings okay, and it’s doing 0.2s worse per lap

I know this feeling

Yep. Seeing how close it was last season, I don’t want to give away any hundredths of a second now

powaaah!

Also, I don’t know what body you’re using, but I smell something fishy with that 7:53. (Either that or I did something terribly wrong)
I’ve spent waaaaay to much time here and I’m running an 8:08 with an MR car (not tuned for GH though, but still)

You remember that he can be lighter than you, right?

Putting a more powerful engine into my 1970 season car, which was about 1000kg and based on the Ferrari race car body, the best I could get was an 8:01

We’ll see, if sub 8 minutes is the norm here now then I’m fucked ^^

8:08 is what I’m at with mr as well after 45min build and tune and I dont see much gains left… 1200kg is too much to be close.
For future I suggest minimum weight for all and than smaller weight penalty steps so the right penalty will be created by itslelf. Just guessing the righ value does not make much sense to me.

7:53.40 O_O i’m out
PS just for laughs built FWD 887cc v6 10000rpm 8:51 on green hell

We’re thinking about how to do that to next round, if I’m not wrong Steel made this suggestion too. Next round it should be a gradient thing and a little more fair.

Light tighty, my semi-slicks perform mighty.
My last year car did a 8:04:xx with the new rules. And I will send my car to Nomade tomorrow (00:10 here). I really hope I don’t forgot anything important. But I think my car will suck at the Drag-races. There a Mr-car will kill me.

My 1200kg Mr build did a 8:05:80 at the grenn hell.

'53 damn thats hard to beat i think… totay went from 8:04,xx (old v12 car after entry) to 8:03,XX (new V8) without fine tuning

I do 8:21 around the GH so I’m so far off the pace it isn’t funny (actually, it’s hilarious!). I just wish I could make a car go actually fast, NOT just look stylish and read great in a glossy brochure!

Hey, it’s just the green hell. I don’t think that my car will be that fast on every track. Because of the FR Layout i have a lot Wheel spin/ a bad 0-100 time. So tracks like Monaco or the Drag-Races will kill me pretty sure.

Why do we care about GH times when it isn’t even a track that this round is on?

It’s just a simple way of comparing cars… I’m not intending to change my car in any way but I can see that my car is clearly less than optimum for competition success!

Yeah i can tell that my car is in Nomads hands now. Some smal things where changed. I just couldn’t send a car with less then 450hp. Now there are 451 . and i found about half a second at the GH again.

Just to make sure, is a '73 model ok for 72/73, or do it need to be a '72? I’m going to try to make something for this.
