Automation Lemons Time Attack Challenge! [RESULT]

Second heaviest and limited by a 4 speed auto I like how the Knight is still able to mix it up in the middle of the pack.

LOL no wonder our times are so close then. Our overall stats seem to be very close. And yes because I tuned for Green Hell I actually dropped downforce a bit. Looks like it’ll be pretty close most of the way then.

i can’t wait for pikes peak!!

Seems like we are having two separate duels in the top 4.

Here is today result at Laguna Seca!

That consistency, it can only be one thing. LHE has mastered not winning, but not losing either.

Yes, I believe this is my 3rd 16th place finish as well. Not last, but always near the bottom. Consistency ftw!

I am slightly bemused by the performance of my CR-X given that it should be much slower on paper.

That’s not turbo lag, that’s the boost threshold - the engine speed where the flow of exhaust gas is sufficient to spool up the turbocharger. Turbo lag is when you have a significant delay between throttle actuation and delivery of power while above the boost threshold because the turbocharger needs to spool back up. Basically, the engine’s delivery of power “lags” behind the throttle input.

Well the response stat of most turbo engines is below that on it’s n/a counterpart.

Brilliant duel with Leo! This is most entertaining.

Also, when it comes to the Horse index, the lower it is, the more annoyed I get

I’m 12th and 2x 14th, no surprises there really.
I am actually surprised that the WtS (Weight to Strops  ) ratio is so low, but I’m not that low totally.
If you’ll look at YaagmbC (Yet another awesome graph made by Conan) you’ll see that Blaster, Lord and Zab are the worst three and it corresponds the total score. Yet I’m 4th from the bottom and yet I’m higher. Are we so close, or maybe it’s the settings of the car?

Probably to do with the fact you’ve taken an MR car. While that body is the weakest of the MR bodies due to the limited tyre width, when you have a low power to weight ratio, it won’t overwhelm the car’s traction and you’ll have something that’s, as far as this game is concerned, inherently more controllable and just that bit quicker off the mark.

At least, that’s what I think.

For the sake of everyone’s curiosity, challenge position compared to power/weight ratio:

Today’s result!

Updated since I’m awake. I’ll update this again after Daytona as it’s a very fast track, but after that we’ll see if the leaderboard changes significantly.

FYI Kubboz should be 12th, as the battle for 11th equal has been resolved.

Fastest 0-100! Still having a good performance to be the 7th on the power/weight chart.
Maybe I can still hope for a third final placement.

I do notice that mistake in making. Just forgot to fix it with Photoshop, and I’m too lazy to do it now. There are more mistakes in future results, but those have been remedied before release.

Just use imagination that it’s 12.

Ah - second place on the longest-0-100 high score list! Good job, BlastersPewPew!

THANKS!!!  Always glad to support the whole team from the bottom :stuck_out_tongue:

Great results! After all, being 7 seconds faster than second place on this tight, twisty track only proves the worth of my Group B (or Group S) inspired racer. Photos of which should have been posted, but I forgot. I’ll add them tomorrow
