Tuning this car, I learned that more power isn’t always for the best, it’ll only make your car faster if the rest of the car can handle the extra power. I remember at one point of the development, I richened the fuel mixture from 12.0 all the way to 10.0 and increased the compression accordingly, giving me overall about 50hp more. But it made the car significantly slower around the track, despite being more powerful and more responsive. So I toned the two things down again. Now it’s an absolute animal around most tracks. You wouldn’t believe how fast it actually does the Nordschleife!

EDIT: I honestly did not expect my little box to do so good, especially after I saw (body wise) what I was up against. BTW I am denying any and all health related claims from the driver, not MY fault he decided to go 2.2G in corners.

Hey my car turned it around this weekend. I’m in utter shock. I thought I was going to be last for sure. I guess my top end really played to my advantage on the longer straights. I’m still learning, but hopefully I can take some of the pointers I got and keep working to move up the rankings.
Looks like I managed to be semi-competitive for once. Fifth place isn’t too bad overall.
