I’m just going to add a week onto the end of this due to Moroza having some real life stuff come up to handle. That should mean to current groupings work out as they are. Obviously if he gets back and says I don’t want to be in the challenge then things will have to run differently
Despite a lot of Life happening right now, I’m 90%+ able to squeeze in my end of work with @DuceTheTruth100 , but if @Soviet_Russia is still interested, replacing me in that team seems a rather convenient solution.
I just hit your DM.
whatever works best for you
What do you want the naming to look like? I am trying to search for it but I can’t find it anywhere.
good question, can’t believe i missed something so simple. I will update the post with naming, but I will go with “ATUC”
Since Shibusu has had to go away for personal reasons, I don’t have a partner to do the design now.
If possible I would like to find another partner to team up with.
I have the time, but I think it’s Not allowed to work in two teams. My part on engineering is done.
@Skygel14 you are good at designing. How about a 1979 CEAL?
Engineering: @Danicoptero
Design: @shibusu
Efficiency and affordability doesn’t have to look bad. The new 1979 IAS Vulture proves that. As spacious as ever, but substantially lighter on the wallet. Who doesn’t want that?
Developed in co-operation with Tarquini, the ECC-engine allows for cruising efficiency while retaining well-rounded performance characteristics*, with IAS comforts on the inside where you know them. Air conditioning, heated leather bucket seats, high-quality 8-track stereo, 4-speed computer-controlled automatic transmission, and much more. If there’s a malaise era, we’re not feeling it.
What does such a laundry list of features cost? 10,000$**.
Other manufacturers may eclipse our economy, running cost or performance, but will you find the same level of prestige and comfort in them? We think not. And we think we’re justified in that belief.
*lies
**10,000$ is the base model. Other trims and options may increase retail price. Blah blah blah legalese.
Something like 40 hours remain for submisions.
So far I have cars and ads from:
@Vento and @Knugcab
@xsneakyxsimx and @Maverick74
@AndiD and @azkaalfafa
ad only from:
@Danicoptero and @shibusu
nothing at all from:
@conan and @kaybee
@moroza and @DuceTheTruth100
@doot and @randomtuner
@Happyhungryhippo and @lotto77
@NormanVauxhall and @Fantic2000
Also if anyone’s partner has disappeared off the face of the earth then let me know and I can at least evaluate your half of the project if you want.
sorry for the delay, school and financial aid are kicking my ass right now. getting some details finalized then sent back to conan for a final tune-up. car should be ready by tomorrow evening/monday morning, pst.
I can’t get the patch in time
My teammate is a submarine, maybe He dives up until Deadline…
Not meant as an offense, but I got no answer for some time.
Nah man that’s on me being stinky, no offence taken. Been way too caught up on Life Stuff™️ to even have it in me to check the forums, probably shouldn’t have signed up for a collaborative challenge like this but eh, you never foresee shit like this coming.
Sorry.
All you see is a flash!
The Strobe is Hosher’s most popular model. Available in a variety of configurations, with the top trim featuring a V8 motor, it has remained a strong seller through the economic crisis. But, with money getting tighter for buyers worldwide, Hosher has revamped their entry-level model to be more appealing and economical.
An electronic automatic gearbox, designed in collaboration with Uyemura’s drivetrain department, is standard in the base model. Driving it is a single-cam, multi-valve engine, making for an economical car with quiet highway cruising.
With quality tires, good suspension, and a comfortable ride as features every model receives, the Strobe provides the best bang for the buck on the market, and it can seat a family of five without stretching its legs. The liftback design allows for smooth aerodynamics, increasing economy without compromising style or space.

LOTTO DID IT!
Yes, the submarine dived up just in time and provided me with a nice design. The Yamaguchi Kuruma, developed in a joint venture of Yamaguchi and Planar. Nothing special about this car, but there is hardly a serious weakness. Perfect malaise boredom with some calm and clean looks.
New for '79, right on time…the Wells Gavino.
The fuel crisis dont got nothing on us. We reached out to our friends at Nordwagen to take the lead on the engineering front. What they returned was nothing short of amazing.
Your getting a boxer4 powerplant, 5spd transmission, DW suspension all around and get this…over 30mpg
Over 30 mpg!!!..and its fun to drive!!
And despite downsizing, the car still has a premium touches throughout.
You wont be scared to be seen in the Gavino, You’ll WANT to be seen.
