Yeah, it is extremely frustrating that this feature doest work right, I liked the manual save system MUCH more than the current setup because you KNEW it saved, this is just a cross your fingers and hope for the best.

I agree. They should reintroduce that. They will likely do so, I think.
Or as the devs have said, at least fix the saving problem within the next update, which is the plan!
ā¦aaaaaaaaaaand in the process of playing with the torque curve Iāve found a build that is far more reliable and significantly faster across every single track! Guess I should stop speaking too soon.
EDIT: false alarm people, for some reason I started building a new engine in 1965ā¦ really should stop speaking too soon eheh
Autosave is a great featureā¦ but at the end Iāve always found more cons than pros. Thereās always a āhidden scenarioā that messes everything up, and thatās why (usually) in every application it only works after closing the job (or every X minutes), no problems and no headaches.
Would love a manual save system, its getting hard to keep things from not bugging out when I make new (copy) cars and engines so I can play around with settings without losing my original setup.
Definitely like the large headlights, I tend to dislike the BMW type grill though. Nice car though! I really need to make a logo for my company, everyone that attaches company logos to their pictures makes them look so much nicer to me.
Thanks. Iām also not completely sure. Iām working on a grill layout that should be characteristic for the brand Astana, and widely applicable (just like BMW does), but havenāt really found it yet. Thus far they are either too futuristic or boring.
This is the actual possible racer from MMM.
The MMM Flyingfish.
sooooo Im bad at photoshop, how do you cut the cars out so nicely?
Thereās a āHideBuildings()ā command you can use by accessing the command console (with the tilde key ~ if you use windows).
That being said, Iāve never successfully managed to create a proper transparency straight from that command. I always get the black background with it.
Works fine (transparency) when opened in GIMP. I donāt know about PS or Paint, however.

This happend because you have to remove the FXAA from the options.
If you check my Znopresk forum page you can see that some cars have back backgroundā¦ that because Iāve activated it and I didnāt know it was a problem for the transparency.
The file is automatically saved in .png format with transparent background. I usually resize it and crop it with Faststone viewer.
OHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Right. This I must try, will make it so much easier to photoshop things! Thanks for the tip Andrea!
Figured out how to do some āquick selectionā and layer masking. Looks a million times better now
I just started making the first pre-season test. Hopefully I didnāt forget anyone and hopefully for everyone the most recent revision is in the test. It gets a bit messy if you get 5 revisions from a single personā¦
If I forgot you, please leave me a note and I will run another test soon only with the forgotten cars. The video will be up later in the evening.
(Thank you for being so accommodating!)
(The red one is my latest.)
(Edit: Wait a sec, I only had three revisions. ā¦IāM NOT ALONE! )
Im there with you Packbat. Automation simply did not want to save my engine changes one night and I had to send in 2 or 3 revisions before it finally ātookā.
Yep, same here. 3rd revision for me thanks so much martin! Iāve got a much clearer idea of what Iām looking for in this test.
My cars power curve.
