The second pre-season test is now in the making! I might extend the submission phase by one week because it took so long to get this test running. I’ll keep you up to date!

Any chance to get a confirmation from Der Bayer upon receiving my submission? Besides that, would there be a problem for me to change my submission completely? …my original submission does not exist anymore in any way or format that would resemble the thing i sent in. All save files are unaltered copies, but the game does not interpret them anywhere near the car i saved.
You can take a look at your sent PM if I downloaded the file. And yes, you may change your car completely.

Just to clarify, when you say extending the submission phase, you mean extending it after the second test? (Also, when should we expect the second test to come out, if that is the case?)
I ask because, like Bob, I’m also about to head off on vacation and will be away from the one computer I have that’s capable of running Automation, so will have to commit to a strategy soon, as in, by Sunday!

Wow, I really, really ruined my car, there. Better fuel economy, less tyre wear, but so much slower and so many more errors!
Also, this is probably unrelated, but question: how does the fuel weight get implemented? Is it added directly to the center of gravity? Does it cause the effective ride height to go down?
Looks like my S2 top speed is hurting me, will regear and I think submit my final revision before I leave on vacation… the fact that I have lap times only ~3 seconds slower than the fastest cars is… encouraging, to say the least 
Will be interesting to see if my lower engine reliability (26.something) screws me over this race year…

Fuel weight does go directly into the center of gravity. Ride height stays as it is.
Oh boy, that threw some spanners in the works with me. What do I make of these developments!?
Having seen the fuel economies, I think I know what approach I’ll be taking next. This will be a gamble because I won’t even have a chance to resubmit before submissions close after the third test. But to hell with it, attack attack attack!
Woohoo! That was the most exiting thing I have ever seen. My car didn’t suck! 15th and the best time in S3.
Now ambitions will reach even less plausible hights. I must reach top 10 by the next pre-season test, or there will be rage quit.

Honestly, I am worried with my tyre wear. My car is so hard on the tyres, my tyre wear is using the sports softs! O.o
I think I’ll have to make some changes to catch up. My top speed is rather low too
